Appliance Repair reviews in Annapolis

Very well-a quick reply to my phone message. Fit me right in the schedule. Thanks The Washer had a thorough check and found out - maybe it's time for a new one--but it's working now. Some good advice - what to shop for. Very pleased and the price was right. Thanks Mr. Cooper

Full assessment performed with recommendations to improve dishwasher performance. Recommendations included periodic cleaning, the use of a liquid dryer, and using Finish as the detergent. All recommendations incorporated and washing results were excellent. Received a arrival window and that was met. Very professional and personal. Excellent plumber and highly recommended.

Appliance Guys responded first thing Monday morning (today) to a message I left over the weekend. My 10-year-old dryer was making a horrible shrieking. They were able to come the same day. Felipe came after calling to say he was on his way, very early in the 4-hour window. He took apart the dryer and showed me a large belt which was disintegrating-- and I saw black bits of it all over the floor of the dryer. He also removed a guitar pick stuck in the drum. Now it's clean and silent again!

The work went great. David called back after I left a message and set an appointment for the next day. He arrived on time, diagnosed the problem, gave us and did the work in about an hour. He gave us good advice on the use of the washer (don't overload--no more clothes than water) and also advised us on the necessity of replacing our microwave.

Well, the person who came out was very very nice; however, all he did was what I already do myself -- vacuum the inside lint area and filter; ran some water in the washer on a short cycle; and was done. He never opened up the washer panel door all the way to inspect inside to see if any belts were lose, anything need to be oiled, etc. Never opened the dryer panel to do a visual. He slightly opened one part part of the washer panel door. In regards to the dryer, he never even pulled my appliances out to see/check in the back of them. When I inquired as to if he was going to do more, I was told that would be a service/repair ticket. I've had preventive maintenance before, and when I did, if anything was squeaky, it was oiled; the combo unit was checked in the back as well. Was very disappointed as I did not receive what was displayed on the website in regards to what was supposed to be checked. Only a slight visual check was done. That's it. Because I signed up for the Sears Home Warranty during this visit, I didn't have to pay the entire cost for the Appliance Checkup as the remaining amount went towards my first payment of the Sears Home Warranty plan. Hope I don't regret getting it.

Chris was very responsive and professional. Made an appointment easily, he arrived on-time, and performed necessary repairs to the range and dryer (replacing burners, switch, etc). The rates were reasonable and service done as expected. Thank you very much, Chris. Will certainly hire again.

The repairman/owner checked out our 25+ year old oven range, looked online for parts, but the needed parts are no longer available. He then looked carefully at our 7 year old washer, found out the problem and recommended replacement since the repair would entail extensive labor, and cost as much as a new machine. We suspected these two appliances would need to be replaced, but were hoping we were wrong. We are happy at least to have found this repairman (Lee Moore) who was on time, knew his craft, explained his reasoning clearly and was very helpful, honest and friendly. He charged us just for the one visit.

Lee was extremely helpful and accommodating to my somewhat odd schedule, which is rather remarkable especially as he's a one-man operation! He was able to diagnose my issue from my description and photos I sent him; he showed up exactly on schedule with the correct part and was able to complete the entire repair in about half an hour. The price was very reasonable, and he was very professional.

Phillip promised he would be back with the part. He took the deposit, and we never heard from him again. I've tried all of his ohone #'s. No Response. We also paid for him to come out and look at the oven. Don't use this guy

After cursory examination repairman stated that rather than replace dryer seal the entire door of the relatively new dryer needed to be replaced at a cost of almost $500. He then spent the remainder of the visit trying to convince us to buy service contract in order to Discount the repair. Was clearly an attempt to overcharge for a relatively simple repair
