  • It went great. When we retuned, both cats had been feed, water dishes were filled, litter boxes were clean and the used litter was outside in the trash. Both cats were happy because they were cared for by a knowledgeable team. They also watered our plants. We enjoyed received and reading our progress report with pictures from C-PUP Pet Walks. We are very please with their professionalism .

  • I have always found the staff of College Park Animal Hospital to be extremely caring and helpful. Over the years, I have put four dogs in their care. The front desk staff have always been personable and have always made time for me when I needed to bring one of my dogs for emergency treatment. Dr. Thomas McMichael is the Chief Veterinarian there and you can tell how much he cares for each individual patient as well as their owner. I have found this to be true of all staff members at CPAH.

  • Great experience overall! Everyone there was very courteous and professional. They were a little behind schedule for my appointment but that is to be expected from time to time. I chose a cats only practice to take advantage of the added expertise that comes with focusing on one type of client and I was not disappointed. The absence of dogs in the waiting room created a slightly less stressful environment. My cat was allowed to get acclimated to the exam room for a few minutes prior to getting checked out. Dr. Puscheck was very knowledgeable and gave me some great advice on keeping my cat healthy. I found the price to be very reasonable. I definitely recommend A Cat Practice to anyone looking for a place to take their favorite feline.

  • We love them, but more importantly, our dog loves them. He is always eager to go and happy when he returns. A little pricey but in line wi other facilities. It would be nice if they had cameras that we could look in during the day, but that is not worth trading the great staff for.

  • It was for 2 dogs so it was about $800, I thought it was fair because they had a couple of other issues that were not just wellness issues. They had to do prescriptions and all the diagnosis. It was my second time to use them, the first time was for an emergency and that's when I used Angie's List to find one open on a Sunday. The services were excellent to the point where I switched vets after the way they treated my dog for the emergency. They are reasonable, knowledgeable, caring and professional.

  • I picked CVCA in Rockville based on ease of commute and reviews I had read. The waiting room was pleasant, the staff friendly and sympathetic and our cat was seen immediately. After talking with the vet, she explained what procedures they wanted to do with her (give her continuous fluids while monitoring her heart to make the fluids would not endanger her heart), monitor her blood count, kidney and other numbers, etc. She was not eating much and I brought with me some of the few people items she'd eat as well as the glasses she drinks water out of (she doesn't use bowls). I then consulted with a staff person who gave me an estimate of minimum/maximum costs based on what they felt she would need and how long she would be at the clinic. I had to pay the minimum at the time for treatment to begin. My cat was at the clinic 3.5 days. I dealt with 3 different vets and all were wonderful. Either they called me with progress reports or I called them and always got through (even if I had to wait a few minutes to talk). Everything was easy to understand. I even got to visit one day (allowed if they're not too busy). They went out of their way to try and give her the ham, cheese and dry food and pudding I provided and even managed to hand feed her some chicken cat food they had. They all got a kick out of the shot glass she drinks from. On her last day they wanted to keep her all day, but I explained that I really did not want to pick her up late at night so they scheduled her last tests earlier and I could pick her up in the afternoon. They gave me a list of instructions and forwarded everything to my vet. She was there for a long time (for an emergency facility) and I could tell the staff really enjoyed caring for her. Between CVCA and my vet, she's much better now and I'm grateful to both. I know some of the complaints at these type of facilities are "they're all about the money." Sure, you have to pay at least part of it up front and by getting an estimate it is certainly up to each pet owner to decide what's best for them and their pet. But for the time and attention they gave my cat and continuous nursing care/monitoring I felt the price was fair.
