  • If you can't get to your doctor, this is a walk-in clinic. I saw a nurse practitioner. I have a fear of doctors. This lady was very understanding. She helped me get past the fearfulness. Unfortunately, the treatment they provided did not work, so I had to have emergency surgery. Though, everything that they did, was handled correctly. I was their twice within a couple of days. They took the best course of action at that time.
Though it was not working as they thought it would, so that resulted in surgery. They are very versatile. They can do fluid shots, sports physicals, minor injuries. The clinic is great and it is a lot cheaper than going to a surgery room and they are open every day of the year from 8am to 10pm at night. My daughter had a major nose bleed that we were unable to control, so we took her up there and they took care of it. They provide a lot of services and it is pretty impressive.

  • They are all over Virginia, Maryland and Southern Pennsylvania. Its usually pretty quick when I go in. I'm in and out in a half an hour or less. I have only used them and I have had no problems. Their availability is good. They are open from 8:00 to 10:00. The office is always clean in and well lit. I have never been in the hospital with them and I've never really been treated. I only get my prescriptions. It takes a month or two to get the bill because of the way their system is set up but I think that is pretty typical from what I have heard from talking to other people.

  • As we were completing the computer sign in, a female at the front desk asked if we had any questions on how to sign in and was very friendly. Within 2 minutes of finding a seat in the waiting room, they called my son's name to gather insurance information. Everything ran smoothly with entering insurance information and the receptionist was and quot;super niceand quot; (description from my 4 year old son). She had me explain the reason he needed to be seen and then began to talk with my son and made him feel really comfortable. He instantly asked if he would get shots, if they had an xray machine, etc. There is no and quot;off buttonand quot; with my son and once he starts talking, it lasts a long time. Despite his many stories, the receptionist let him talk and even asked him questions about his love of tractors and his John Deere hat.
We sat back down in the waiting room and within 5 minutes, we were called to get vitals. Everyone was making a big deal out of my son and saying things that interested him (the John Deere hat was a good start to the conversations). The next step was to have several xrays taken of his foot.
Once in the xray room. my son asked if he was getting a needle before his xray and the tech assured him that needles would not be a part of his xray. She explained to him what was going to happen (step by step) with the xray process. Instantly, she made a connection with my son and their non stop discussion about tornadoes/tornado states, etc began. After the xrays, the tech walked us into an examination room.
After less than a 10 minute wait, the doctor entered the room and told us the results of the xray. He needed to see how well my son could walk without letting him know so the doctor told him he did so well that he could walk with him to the desk for a sticker. It worked because he was able to see how well or how hard it was for my son to be weight bearing, how much of a limp he had in his step, etc. As the doctor wrapped my son's foot with an ace bandage, he explained to me the next steps to take and waht to look for as he began to heal. With that, we were on our way, but not before my son asked for an Angry Bird sticker for his brother. Must have been my son's lucky day because the doctor let him choose a sticker for his brother (who was at school). As my son was leaving, the doctor gave him a high five, told him how well he did. We also saw the xray tech as we were leaving and she told him to keep up his love of tornadoes and storm chasing. It was incredible how everyone we came in contact with including the nurses and staff who were not directly involved with my son's case made the experience a positive one.
As we approached the front desk, we handed the receptionist our and quot;exit papersand quot; and we were finished. She wished us well and we were on our way.
A few days later, I called to get a copy of the xray and report for our visit with an orthopedist (as recommended by the doctor if he was still not weight bearing in a few days or not showing progress). The automated system was user friendly and had me connected to the xray department in no time. I was told the xrays and report would be ready for pickup and when I arrived 20 minutes later, I told the receptionist I was here for records and they were waiting for me. The whole process could not have been any easier.
I would highly recommend Patient First in Aberdeen. Not only did they create a friendly and positive atmosphere for my son, they also made the experience positive for me....knowing my son wasn't scared made all the difference.

  • I was pleased with them. The service was good, it was quick, and they took care of my son. They are very concerned and conscientious about his injury. I thought they were very thorough and they told us to see a specialist. I'll go back.

  • It was very nice, everyone was very professional and friendly. I was a little less than satisfied with the advice and the continuing care they gave me.
