Paul arrived on time, handled the changeout in an entirely profesional manner, paid attention to getting all the details right and left our place very clean. I could not ask for a better job. His price was fully competitive.

    E.F. Winslow Plumbing & Heating
They came quickly, which is good, because who wants to go without hot water?  But the plumber they sent was not familiar with the type of hot water heater we had bought, which was a new high efficiency one.
He also put hours of work into piping for a pump. We did not pay for that, because we had gravity flow that would take care of the condensation the pump was designed to remove. They were going to charge us for a pump and piping which was not necessary. My husband called a supervisor over, and it was convirmed that the gravity tube to our waste pipe system was more than sufficient, and the pump was not necessary. Supposedly, they took those hours off our bill, but it still came in at about $1030, which did include some minor wiring. Very expensive for the installation of a water heater that we provided (bought new from Sears).
But, you gotta have hot water!  They were available!  Earlier in the year, we had them re-plumb our entire house, replacing the copper pipes, which were thirty years old and pin-hole leaking all over the place. They did a good job with that, except they put a smaller diameter pipe out to our exterior faucets, which caused a drop in pressure for our garden hoses this summer. We could not run the same number of sprinklers that we had run the summer before.  In fact, could only run two sprinklers at once, due to drop in the diameter size of that water pipe.
That should not have happened. Otherwise, a good job. They sent a half dozen guys at once over here to do the job in one day, during a snow storm in February 2014.  So it was done quickly, maybe to quickly.
I've paid a lot to E. F. Winslow in the year 2014, and I would use them again. They do pull the permits from the town for their work, and it always passes inspection.  Just pricey, and you should watch them- as we learned with our water heater installation.  Good luck!

    Oceanside Septic Inc
I called and asked some questions since ownership had changed and I wanted to assue myself that the good ratings on Angie's List would still hold true. The scheduler explained that the new company had the same field employees. Three men came, a younger one learning the ropes and two older men. The middle of them was clearly in charge and he answered all my many questions as they worked. I am on my local board of health and this was my first personal experience with septic pumping. I requested and received the discount advertised.

They had to do extra plumbing work because they had to move it over because the old septic was underneath the porch so they had to dig up the cement pads. We only have a quarter of an acre so they had to re-plumb the part so they could put it in. They were an A. It just took longer than originally it was gonna happen but that was more of the town. They had to come out and inspect everything in this place because we are in historical district so they had to come out 3 or 4 times to check this, to check that. It's kind of like soil testing. The town was actually more of the problem than anything. We are in the historical district so things are not that cut and dry even though it's a ranch house and everything is a permit. I just went with them because they were already doing the septic system. The price went up because they were running into issues with the plumbing and stuff. They were very professional. As a matter of fact, I'm thinking about calling them to have it drained again.

    Paul Giannetti Plumbing Co
Paul was very responsive, even though this was no emergency. Returned my call within an hour. Came the same day to check out the work that needed to be done. Got the parts and had the work done by his assistant the following week. His assistant was professional and pleasant, and the work was done quickly and well. Price was reasonable. I will call him again for future plumbing needs. Highly recommended.

    Durfee Plumbing & Heating LLC
The job was done timely and as expected.  My initial call was due finding water on the floor of the basement, which was tracked back to the broken valve and housing.  The lack of heat in the master bedroom was attributable to the broken thermostat, and surfaced only after the zone valve was fixed.  Once all of the components were repaired/replaced, the system ran (and continues) to run just fine.

I had a positive experience. He is good, very conscientious and did a very high quality work, He stands behind his work and if anything goes wrong, shortly thereafter, he will take care of it. I would use them again in the future.

Tim has been doing snow removal for my family for a couple years now. He is a good honest person with a great work ethic.
I asked him if he could help me with some yard work. He offers full bobcat services such as lawn installation, site work, grading,
driveways, etc. He installed a new lawn for us, starting with removing the old "lawn". He brought in new loam, spread it , and helped get the new one going. He also created a second driveway for us. He handled the whole project professionally. When he was finished with his part , he brought in the right person to finish with the paving. I will continue to use him for snow removal, and have him back to create a back yard lawn someday.

Septic system installation resulted in the destruction of trees and bushes, and damage to our fence and sprinkler system.  We were told that a 2 year warrenty was included with this installation, however as it turns out no such warrenty is included.   Overall very dissapointing service.  Would not recommend or use again ourselves.
