    Paul Feliciano
At first, it was ok. He quoted me a price and showed up on time to start the work. We agreed on a total of $1150 + materials. He showed up on a Saturday morning and was going to everything in one day. In the mornng i gace him a $300 deposit. When I met him there on Saturday evening to pay him he said that he would come back the next day to finish the painting. It has been two weeks with several promises of showing up. Then today he said he would come this Saturday to finish but that I would need to pay him another $200. When I asked what this charge was for he said it was for gas and delivery and tried to tell me he needed, or rather did buy more supplies, and now wanted anther $100 for getting the supplies the first time. I have any messages from him outlining the total of $1150 including everything other thent he $79 in materials. Clearly, he was not interestedincoming back to finsh the joband thought he should get more. He left the ceiling unsanded and unpainted and was paid $1150 to do so..

Dan's Handyman Carpentry & Property Mgmt Services
Great! Dan and team are very professional and responsive. Addressed all my concerns and got back to me right away. Dan made sure I was happy with the finished product. Both Tracy and Dan would check in along the way as well to make sure all was going as planned. My flooring and windows look great. I am very pleased. Would definitely recommend and use in the future for other projects!

    ReNu Home Services
Jeremy is very handy and can repair almost anything. Painting wasn't the neatest, however, I figured this in light of the wide variety of services offered. My only issue was the failure to complete the job on time. I think they may have taken on this job thinking they could finish after other jobs as the property was empty.

    Mr Sandless Central Massachusetts
Awful! After 1 week of having all of my floors done in my house(and walking on floors with bare feet or socks only), we were seeing several chips, scratches and marks in every room of our house( i attached a few examples of our floor after just 7 DAYS)The floors looked terrible and worse than before we hired Mr.Sandless. Needless to say, we were very upset and wanted to get floors fixed or a partial refund. When reaching out to owner he was argumentative, defensive, didnt come out when he committed to, and was unwilling to get matter resolved. We felt like the owner was not standing behind his product and felt like he was giving us the runaround. I strongly recommend to anyone who is thinking about using this company to think twice!! The product does not withstand a pet or areas that are walked on frequently. We are out $2700 and after 2 months had to pay (again) to have all of our floors completely redone due to substandard product and inability to resolve floor issues with the owner. I'm absolutely disgusted. I typically don't leave negative comments but felt I needed to so other people don't throw their money away by getting Mr. Sandless to do your floors.

I contacted KHYCO for a home improvemen project consisting of installing approximately 45 square feet of kitchen tile flooring, intalling a new kitchen sink faucet, new kitchen lights and installing a new garbage disposal. Not only was the job outstand but he went above and beyound and also fixed a couple of cabinet doors for me out kindness. The customer service, quality of work and reliability is equal to none! I will use KHYCO again. Highly recommended by me and many others as can be seen on their website. Please visit them.

    Vibrant Finishes
Nathan and his team worked quickly to sand down worn and stained original hardwood flooring in an approx. 900 sq ft apartment. They also replaced a very small section which was severely damaged by water. They did a good job around the edges in the rooms with baseboard. After the sanding, they applied rubio monocoat oil on the floor which made the overall appearance of the floors look completely different than before any work had begun. I did consider an eco friendly polyurethane for them to apply as well, but chose not to because of the would be extra cost of the product. In hindsight, I should have and the team would have applied it for no extra cost.

    KBA Contracting Enterprises LLC
If you are planning any sort of extensive renovation, you are going to be spending a lot more time that you think with your contractor.  I recommend you do yourself a favor and make that contractor Bruce at KBA Contracting.  You can look around and spend your time interviewing others, but you will not find another contractor who performs the same quality of work, is as responsive, or is as nice of a guy as Bruce is.  You could certainly find cheaper, but, honestly, you get what you pay for.  Bruce's prices were competitive with the other contractors that we would have actually considered to handle the work in our home.
Bruce is full of ideas so be prepared to fully explain what you are looking for.  Bruce will give you his honest opinion (which is mostly spot on) but in the end will always complete the job to your specifications (aside from safety considerations).  Bruce was able to work with our insurance company to get us the maximum amount of money to cover the work in our home.  When an unexpected expense, not originally included in out original insurance award came up, we did not even have to speak to anyone at the insurance company.  Bruce made all the phone calls and within a week we had a check covering the full expense of the additional gutter damage discovered during the course of the work.  When unexpected structural concerns were discovered in our children's playroom, Bruce worked with us on the price.  Bruce worked with us on all aspects of the project to ensure we could accomplish what we wanted within our budget.  Bruce was even willing to work with the guys from Geek Squad to make sure our surround sound system would be installed correctly.
Bruce's team was always courteous from his roofers, to his electrician, and his carpenter, Rob, is amazingly talented.  The work completed on our home-- opening the floor plan and refinishing the floors-- looks absolutely stunning.  We are planning further renovations to our home down the line, including exterior work, and kitchen and bathroom renovations.  There will be no need to even think about who we will call when it is time for us to do the work.  Hiring KBA is a no brainer.

    HOMEPROS Construction & Remodeling
I was very pleased with the work done by HomePro's Construction.  Randal and his crew were very professional, punctual and the quality of their  completed work is great.   They showed up when they said they would,  they cleaned up after themselves and left no messes .  I would definitely use them for future work.

    Capstone General Contracting Inc
We found Capstone at the Worcester Home Show and went with them after comparing three estimates. They were in the middle of the price ranges and we felt good about the person who was working with us (Dennis). We were wrong.

The job took more than three times the estimated two weeks, not counting months of follow-up to get things right. When they did the initial demolition, Capstone's people knocked a shingle off the outside of the bathroom window and never fixed it. Subcontractors were traipsing in and out of our house without reasonable notice. Some messed up the work others had done, like the trim installer who massacred the metal finishing cap where the toilet water feed comes out of the wall - it still looks terrible. One subcontractor left our back door ajar all day when we weren't home.

They tried to leave no baseboard trim under the vanity (it stands on 4 legs with the wall visible behind it) and leave a 2-inch gap wide open between the wall and the floor - we had to insist they send the trim installer back to finish it! A spot they cut in the wall outside the bathroom for electrical wiring was only partially patched so there was still a visible hole - we eventually fixed that ourselves.

Capstone left our bathroom a mess, not even cleaning up thick streaks of plaster on the window or the heavy-duty tape they put down to "protect" the floor - it was almost impossible to scrub out. They left a bunch of trash in our backyard for weeks until we demanded they pick it up when a severe storm was forecast and we were afraid the trash would be blown/thrown everywhere! Nothing makes you feel good about a contractor like having an old toilet decorating your yard.

The only "plus" we got out of Capstone's incompetence was they demolished more than they were supposed to, so we got "free" new wall trim and a new baseboard heater cover. Honestly though, I wish I still had the old wall trim because it used to match throughout the house and the stuff they replaced it with is a different style.

There were unresolved issues for an extended period of time after the job was "done" and we had to keep calling and emailing to get follow-through. The light above the sink had been installed far off-center and looked quite foolish - it was fixed long after painting was complete, leaving us with more work. The last time we had to deal with Capstone, the toilet had started wobbling and had to be addressed twice to be set properly - they did send someone since it was within the 1-year warranty but told us they would not stand behind their work if it continued to be an issue.

I would absolutely not hire Capstone again under any circumstances.
