    the dentist was the problem.  the staff and, especially, my dental tech Jen, were awesome.  I had several problems with dr. mancuso.  the first was when I asked for a whitening kit.  the tech couldn't get the molds to fit and said they would have to be redone.  dr. mancuso came in and said they were fine.  I used them and got a chemical burn right in the spot the tech couldn't get to fit.  fast forward about 2 years and I had a problem with a filling dr. mancuso did.  she evidently used too much filling material and couldn't get it to set in line like the original.  I went for more than a year unable to eat on that side.  I went back and she filed again - still unable to get it to sit right.  she then began to file the other teeth (the good ones) to get them to fit her filling.  very unprofessional - so I left.  I went to another dentist after the tooth that she filled broke - the filling stayed but the tooth around the filling sheared off. 

    another dentist there looked at the problem and ground her filling down enough that I could put pressure on it but that didn't correct the problem either.

    what a mess.  now I have to have a capped tooth - all because dr. mancuso didn't want to spend the time or money to correct her original mistake.

    He is really good and his hygienist is good. He is a pretty nice guy. I have no complaints about him. He is friendly and he has a nice office. His staff is also good. I would definitely use him again in the future.

    The problem is everytime I go there for anything they say I need a root canal. Root canals are expensive even if you have insurance. They never diagnose me with needing a filling jusr root canals. It's crazy so I'm looking for a new dentist.

    He's a perfectionist and his hygienist Barbara is great. The whole staff is great. Urgent appointments are not a problem for them. The billing staff is also excellent. They really push for the insurance coverage to get the maximum coverage out of the insurance company.

    On line reviews helped me decide to call Dr. Rosenberg at Lexington Smile Studio.  And I was not disappointed.  She is compassionate, understanding, supportive and very informative.  Talked me through everything I needed to know.  Office staff is also very knowledgeable and helpful.  Would highly recommend Dr. Rosenberg to anyone who is fearful of going to the dentist and who needs comprehensive services.

    I arrived at my scheduled time and was greeted by the Hygenist right on time.
    The hygenist was thorough and friendly. Very professional and well qualified.
    During the cleaning procedure, DR. Henkell visited and using his special dental equipment gave my mouth a thorough detailed examination and verbally indicated his results. After a congenial conversation with Dr Henkell, he left and the Hygenist completed her cleaning process. I left with clean smooth feeling teeth, and a vote of confidence until my next 6 month visit.

    Have gone for past 5 years or so for regular biannual cleanings and checkups, but since I have very good teeth, my experience is usually very straightforward. However, even though I'd never had a cavity in 40+ years of life, on every visit I get recommendations for precautionary fillings or other procedures. I kindly decline, schedule my next visit in 6 months and don't think much about it until the same thing happens at my next cleaning. Though the technology they use at the office is indeed impressive and I do feel like I'm in good hands during my visits, I also understand how other people could feel very pressured and offended by a sales-pitch type approach to explaining possible problems. The detailed photos and information acquired by the high-tech tools leads to a bit of a slippery-slope emphasis on what could happen if you don't take care of this "potential" problem now...and thus the patient can feel pressured to go ahead with a procedure that could probably wait, if it's even necessary. I'm used to this by now and know I can say no, but a first time patient is likely to be put off.

    I love my hygienist and I hate going to the dentist.  She knows that I don't do well with X-rays so does all she can to be quick as possible.  I had gum disease, but thanks to my hygienist and dentist it's mostly reversed.  When I had serious work done, they did what they could to keep me calm.

    Digital xrays and digital pictures were taken. The condition of all my teeth was explained to me. I decided to start with my upper back 3 teeth (I still have all my wisdom teeth). 2 of the teeth had the old large cracked fillings removed and replaced with new white filler. 1 tooth was refilled and a crown installed.The procedures were just about painless and quality work. My only complaint is that the 3 teeth cost $3300.00 which I think is excessively high. I talked to the billing person for the cost of the procedures to the next area and it was to be even more expensive. I was told the cost of a 4 sided filling in white is $658.00. I checked around with other dentists and found the charge for this procedure to be between $250.00 and $350.00. I never went back and found a more reasonably priced dentist with the same high tech equipment and work.
