    Great! Yury was a very good communicator. We had difficulty trying to estimate several months in advance, how many boxes we'd have and didn't want the moving company to arrive and everything not fit. Yury came out to the house and was fairly confident we'd be okay with space in their truck. The only negative in the process was that he asked if we could move the drop off earlier. Because of this, we adapted and had my daughter there for the loading. She said it was very smooth. The guys were respectful and efficient and packed that truck tight like a puzzle. Everything fit fine. They arrived at the correct time and due to weather, the logistics of the unloading was difficult and they had to use a plank and work around mud. But these guys were wonderful. All of the pieces were wrapped tight to eliminate any possible damage. They even protected the doors by placing special quilted protectors up. They unwrapped everything and took all the wrapping material with them. They put anything together that was apart and had all the hardware to do so. This was a long move with a 15 plus hour drive for them, but they were true professionals. I was very pleased with their service and their pricing was the best of three estimates we received. I wouldn't hesitate to use Esquire again for any move; near or far!

    I cannot say enough good things about Baby Boomer Moving Company. We used them for a move in November 2016. Excellent communication, service and price! They showed up on time and worked non stop getting our stuff moved out of our old home and into our new home. Very professional and trustworthy! My husband and I were so very happy with them! I would highly recommend them to anyone. Five star rating!!!!!

    Not Your Average Movers
    I can't say enough good things about Jesus and his crew. These guys worked from 7:30 AM until Midnight with only 3 short breaks moving a ton of stuff. We had some difficulty fitting some pieces into our planned locations in the new house. The guys were fine with shuffling things around, trying different spots. They were seemingly tireless, always courteous and friendly and not a single thing was damaged. Time needed was a bit over estimate, but that was due to the extra work needed to shuffle things around and make them fit. Pricing was a simple flat rate per hour - didn't need a slide rule to figure it out as with some other companies. We were very pleased and would not hesitate to hire them again!

    Beware he never mentioned insurance until I asked while his guys were at my house, I called him and he was very arrogant and said he assumed I knew. Beware he only provides ..60 cents a pound if you want more insurance his price is way out there. He was two hours late for the pick up and was also very arrogant about that "what's the big deal were there now" is what he said to me. For the delivery he was late an hour my husband got there early morning like he requested and he was late over an hour, poor planning on his part. They broke a $135.00 vase and offered 25.00 dollars for it, they took a large chuck out of my crate and barrel chair and said "I can buff that out", there was so many scratches on my dining room table also from crate & barrel that weighed 200 pounds he said he could fix that (which you cant it's a different material than just traditional wood) he offered 125.00 dollars. For the entire loss he wanted to give me 200.00 I am currently disputing the charges with my credit card company and I will be calling his insurance company on Monday.

    He had the nerve to say to me well I gave you an extra guy for the drop off and didn't even charge you, that's his poor planning the customer should never have to pay if he cannot schedule appropriately.   Signed very dissatisfied customer

    The big trick was were moving from an easy 1st floor no stairs apartment to a second floor apartment in a very old Victorian home with a very narrow and awkward stair case.  They were quick with loading up the truck as we could only afford 2.5 hours.  When they arrived at the new location they were a little skeptical bout getting the large furniture up the stairs,  We had already worried about it and had a Plan B.  They achieved getting all of it up the stairs!!  I was so grateful.  They were all pleasant and helpful and took great care of our belongings and helped us manage our time.  I would definitely recommend Paul's and will keep them in my contacts for any future moves.

    We signed up to use HMS Moving after doing a lot of research on Angie?s List and other venues.  To say the least, the service we received absolutely did not match up to the reviews we had read or the service we were promised.
    We met with an estimator before our move.  He came to the house, did a full inventory and provided us with a quote of $1,950 (including an overnight hold, because initially, we didn?t think we would be able to move in one day due to closing dates). We were impressed with his professionalism and his flexibility, which is why we chose them over the other five or so movers that we got quotes from, even though they weren?t actually the cheapest.  In the end, the closing dates worked out, so we let them know two weeks before that we would actually be able to complete the move all in one day.  They said no problem and would update the order.
    The head mover and one of the movers seemed okay, although not highly efficient, but the 3rd guy is not someone we would have ever paid money for.  He was completely inefficient and to be honest, lazy.   (An example? one of the other guys was taking the doors off of our refrigerator and the 3rd guy just stood there and watched him for 20 minutes instead of continuing to move things out of the house.)
    We had to be out of our house by 6pm for a walkthrough.  We made this clear at the beginning of the day.  Yet, the movers did not call in at any point in time to say that they would not make that time - or to ask for more help.  My husband finally called dispatch who apologized and told him that if they knew it was a one day move, they would have sent more people.  We have email confirmation from them 10 days earlier that they knew it was a one-day move and would make changes accordingly.  In the end, we had to bargain for additional time with our buyers, and had to leave half of our stuff sitting on the lawn in order to get out in time.  This caused an issue with our buyers but we were lucky and they were flexible.
    Due to the inefficiences, the move took two days and STILL was not completely done.  We ended up putting together all the furniture, the refrigerator was not put back together, we had to bring car loads of stuff over, and about half our stuff had to be relegated to the garage because there simply wasn?t enough time to put it where it belonged, leaving a lot of work for our family.
    Efficiencies aside, basic services of moving were not done.  A couple of examples? 1) Everything was very well labeled - yet boxes were put in completely wrong areas.  I?m 7 months pregnant and the reason I hired movers was so that I wouldn?t have to move boxes all around my house.  2) Boxes marked ?fragile? and ?top load? were put underneath multiple boxes of books (our most fragile box was under 4 book boxes).  In the end, all of our red wine glasses broke, as did many sentimental fragile items.  
    Lastly, the invoicing and billing was a disaster.  As I said, the quote was for $1,950.  With the unnecessary $100 hold overnight charge, it netted out at $1,850.  Our total for the move - even though nothing had changed and the estimator came to our house - was $3,153.27.  We had other movers that guaranteed that their actual rates would never be more than 10% of the estimate and we really wished we had gone with them.  We then spent way too much time after the move trying to get on the phone to discuss these issues and primarily to ensure that the Angie?s List Deal we bought be credited correctly.  In the end, they gave us a credit for that deal, but it took way too long to get there.
    Overall, we were very disappointed in our entire move.  We?ve moved many many times in our lives and this was the worst move we had - the value and cost do not line up for us and we would never recommend this company again.

    Mastodon Moving
    So I bought the Deal from Angie's List for $189 (half-price) for 4 man-hours of moving: either 2 men for 2 hours or 4 men for 1 hour.  Apparently a lot of other people bought this deal too (not to mention it's summer vacation student-moving season!) so they were very very busy and didn't always answer e-mails right away when trying to arrange a date.  And I got a little more nervous when their phone number didn't even have the company name as part of the answering service message.   I even checked out another company, which said they'd need to charge at least $375 (which proved the initial offer was right on track).  But Mastodon came through with flying colors!  Once a specific time was arranged, they were very courteous about calling to confirm their arrival, and the 3-man crew (neither 2 nor 4?) quickly took the bed apart and loaded it into the truck.  I followed them to the storage facility and everything was done within an hour.  Really nice guys, really nice service, would definitely use them again.   (Though maybe not for anything utterly urgent if they've recently had a Deal running.)

    Roadrunner Moving & Storage Inc
    We moved out of our condo on 9/30/2013 and had to store our furniture for 6 weeks.  The crew worked diligently, wrapping our furniture, packing our household items and the efficiency was truly something to witness.  We moved into our new condo 11/13/2013 and they unwrapped, assembled and moved everything so fast and with extreme care and sometimes moving something twice because we decided to put the item on another wall.  They were so obliging and courteous through both moves.  Roadrunner was truly the bright light in a very rough few months where many things went wrong.  We hope this is our last move but we wouldn't hesitate to call Roadrunner Moving and Storage because they were TERRIFIC.  Martin, Dave and Sabrina were always a phone call away and truly helpful with the whole process. Paulo and Stephen were there for both moves and they very courteous, thorough and professional.  A true credit to their company.  Kudos to all!
