Fence Company reviews in Wilmington

    Reliable Fence Boston
I think they came even earlier than they said they were going to come. They had given us a certain week in the summer and they were able to move it up for us and get it done a little bit more quickly. That was nice. It took a few days to complete. It was pretty much what I had expected, because they had to demo the old fence first and took all of that out. There were a team of two people.

    Pro Fence Co
I contacted Pro Fence along with several competitors for replacement of 4 damaged posts as part of my 8ft fence line that was otherwise very serviceable. Several big name companies said they were not interested in any repair work; however, they would be happy to replace my very expensive oversized privacy fence that is less than 10 years old. I was very pleased with the quality, price and speed with which Pro Fence executed my repair work and will certainly use them as my provider of choice when replacement is required. Competitors should take note; Pro Fence is how its done.

    Reliable Fence Boston
From initial contact, to sending out a person to measure and provide a cost estimate, to the reliable and professional (and quick, less than 3 hours!!!) installation: there isn't enough positive feedback or praise we can provide for Reliable Fence company of Boston.  Ken and John, the installers, were friendly and made sure everything was done to our specifications and liking before ending the project. From first contact to installation was less than a 2 week wait-time, which was reasonable for me and my household's busy work schedules. The actual installation took less than 3 hours and we were blown away by the efficiency and professionalism of the crew. I highly recommend this company to others who want or are considering a fence project.

    DPM Fence & Home Improvement
I called Dave on a Friday. We scheduled a time to meet on Monday to look at the work to be done. He showed up on time. We discussed the work done and Dave understood exactly what I was looking for. He did not try and nickel and dime me or up sell me for items I need nor want. Later that day Dave emailed me a detailed quote with a plot drawing and type of materials he was going to use.
The work started the following Monday and completed my Wednesday. Dave and his crew did exceptional work.

    Dan The LawnMan
When I first spoke to Dan my back yard was a dried out, crabgrass and clover ridden, barren wasteland of weeds and ants.  Since then he has helped me tear it down and build it up again.  We turned a third of the yard into a mulch area that the dogs and kids could play in, and the other two thirds is a fresh new lawn.  These areas are separated by a ceder, round post and rail fence.  We just recently sprayed the lawn with Hydroseed, but already it looks great.
I wanted to do as much of the work myself as I could, both to save money, and because I enjoyed doing the work. Dan got that.  He was more than happy to simply discuss "what he would do" if it were his house, and I would essentially just do it myself.  I did hire Dan to deliver and spread 25 yards of loam and coordinate spraying the hydroseed. He was always willing to step in and do whatever I couldn't or didn't feel like doing myself.  I fully intend on using Dan in the future as future projects develop.

Jack, the sales rep, met me at my house at the agreed upon time and date. He was very friendly. Fences Unlimited was the third company to give me an estimate. They were in the middle of the three bids. He seemed very anxious to get my business, so he came down in price to match my lowest estimate. I decided on the spot to go with Fences Unlimited. It went downhill from there. He told me that we were looking at an installation of three weeks out. Giving them a little leeway, I took vacation four weeks out. I wanted to be home when the fence was installed to avoid having the fence put in the wrong location. I never heard from them regarding an installation date, so I emailed Jack and told him I needed the fence installed and that I had taken time off from work for the installation. By Thursday, I still hadn't heard from anyone, but when I came back from running an errand, they were in my driveway dropping off the fence. I had assumed they would have called me to let me know they were coming, but they never did. I've never worked with a company that doesn't communicate an installation date. They just seem to show up when they want. But, I did appreciate Jack rearranging the schedule to accommodate my vacation. The work was started on a Friday and finished the following Monday. The length of time it took was expected. After they were gone, I was walking my property looking at the fence and noticed there were several balusters (pickets) that were shorter than the rest. I thought it was odd since they all should have been cut to the same length. I was also told that this was their most popular fence, so I thought they had a lot of experience making and installing a Manchester fence. I emailed Jack and he said they'd take care of it. I waited for two weeks without any word. I tried again and emailed some pictures. I heard from Jack in the afternoon saying he was out to my house to take a look at the fence. He said they would fix it. I waited several more days and in the meantime, received a bill for the remaining balance. I sent 1/3 of what I owed with a note saying I was withholding payment of the rest until my fence was fixed. I had asked Jack to let me know when they would be out as I wanted to be there to make sure it was fixed to my satisfaction. Once again, no one let me know, so they came while I was at work. I told Jack to make sure they checked all of the balusters to make sure I didn't miss anything. I ended up paying the remaining balance before I looked at the work -- a mistake on my part. Once again, I walked my property from the rear of the property to the front and noticed another short baluster that they missed. Think of a comb with one short tooth -- it sticks out like a sore thumb. I never received a call from anyone asking if I was satisfied with the installation or repair. Fences Unlimited doesn't seem to take pride in their work which was a real disappointment considering I was going to go with another fence company. This was definitely a learning experience.

    W J McDonough Fence Co
I reached out to multiple providers but found that the Kevin took the extra time out to point out different options for complex areas (such as slanting).  Kevin also pointed out that the lattice (extra cost) was not required for the back side as it wasn't visible.  Pricing aligned with other providers.  I based my final decision on the extra time spent on the design and in his detailed quote.  There was a small blip on the installation but it was resolved immediately.
The fence looks great and is holding up well.  I would definitely use them again and have recommended to friends.

    Reliable Fence Boston
Our salesperson, Dana, was very punctual and came out twice to measure and go over options.  We were hesitant to go with Reliable because of a few bad reviews, but we didn't experience any misfortune.  Our two installers were extremely friendly, hard working (in 95 degree heat with 101 heat index), and got the job done in 3 days.  We didn't need to be home for them either.  After getting 4 other estimates, we chose Reliable because they had the most reasonable and lowest estimate other than Lowe's, who I wouldn't dare taking a chance in hiring.  Overall we'd choose Reliable again if we need to add on or change the fence.

    Carli Fence Co., Inc.
Carli Fence was very professional. Answered all my questions promptly. It did take longer than expected to get them out to do the work but it was during their busy season. If you need it done quickly suggest doing it after spring/summer season. Price was reasonable. They were not the most expensive or the least. They were in the middle. Owner came out to go over the contract before work started and there were two men who finished in a day and did a great job given the fact I did have some tree obstacles. Also loved that they are a family run company. Would recommend them if you need a new fence.
