    I thought it went fine initially. Then days later we discovered water had been leaking from the new connection. My son turned it a quarter of a turn which immediately stopped the leak. We then discovered all the damage that had occurred in the 2 or 3 days since. I called the owner (Dennis Chaffee I believe) and he was very apologetic. He came out to see the damage and told me he would "take care of everything". That I wasn't to worry about it. He sent his workers back to put a new valve in because he didn't like the old brand of valve that he replaced. Everything was going well and then he was going to send his friend who was a contractor to patch the hole his guys had made putting the new valve in and then we'd "be all set". I asked about the damage to my walls and down the cellar. At that point he told me that this had never happened to him in 35 years in the business but he would have to file an insurance claim. He said he would do it that night. Then called a day or two later to say he would have to file a claim that day. It took awhile for his insurance and I to connect after playing phone tag for a week or so. But as I was talking to them, they told me that he claimed he had no idea how this happened and it was nothing he did !!! Went from someone I admired for fixing his mistakes to a zero in my books. The true character of a man comes out when the chips are down (or its costing him too much to fix his mistake).

    Bob was very prompt to respond. Sounded like an honest guy and his work looks good. Patches are guaranteed for life. His first estimate of cost was around what I expected for this project so I hired him for the job. Ended up costing us a little less than his estimate because one of the "leak" was not really a leak. No complaints.

    Fresh Start was excellent! I honestly knew nothing about them when I hired them. But when I first called in, Holly was so friendly, responsive and helpful, they seemed like a good choice. On the day of the move, Jorge and Tyler called ahead to say they were close by. They arrived right on time, and they were incredibly easy to deal with. Great personalities, professional and very carefully wrapped my furniture and belongings, so that they would not be damaged. I don't plan to move again anytime soon - but if did, I would definitely hire them again. Heather - Wilbraham, MA

    Awesome! The two workers were wonderful. On time, friendly, polite, professional, and extremely thorough. I was even consulted on a concern and the end result was no more stain. For older carpeting, it looks brand new!

    I am very pleased with the work done. Sean and his assistant arrived on time at 9:00 and were finished by 3:30. I now have two insulated metal doors with openers. The openers came with keypad and remotes, and battery backup. They installed weather stripping around the door openings. The guys were very professional, friendly and worked well together.They went over the operation of the keypad and remotes with me. They removed all the old hardware and trash. The true test will be this winter when the temp goes down to zero.

    Be aware of their billing practices. For example, if you make your payments within 30 days based on their US mailed invoice date, in this case the invoice date was June 1, you won't get scheduled for their monthly mosquito service in the subsequent month. Insight did not provide our monthly June mosquito service because they stated they did not receive our payment until June 25. In early July a representative came to our door and asked if we were happy with our service. We informed him we never received our June mosquito application, he checked and acknowledged it wasn't received and offered our August application at no charge. A full week after our July 11 mosquito application we were still being attacked by mosquitos while sitting on our back patio. I spent over 30 minutes on the phone July 19 asking for another application to remedy the situation because we were hosting wedding quests on the upcoming weekend. I was denied a re-application because Insight said I had to wait 10 days for the initial application to take effect. The mosquito problem did not clear up and we were denied the use of our back yard during this important event. Insight failed to back up their promise to return if the customer was dissatisfied with the result! Finally, when we called Insight on August 22 because we hadn't received our August monthly mosquito application, which we were previously told would be at no charge, Insight informed us we would be charged because the representative failed to make a notation on our account. Lousy customer service!

    Work went flawlessly . Showing up on time. Very professional. Very courteous to the customer. I would definitely recommend him. And would hire him again. Hope to be able to work with him again soon. It's very hard in this line of business to find a subcontractor who does what he says and says what he does in a timely manner and on budget.     Workers dropped construction trailer yesterday afternoon & began work this AM. Sergei (owner) stopped by and explained minor changes. Workers very professional & courteous. Bad weather pushed timetable back by a couple of weeks. However, Sergei stayed in touch by phone & stopped by with his framer to go over measurements. So far we are very pleased. Sergei mismeasured opening for storm door which is going to require a custom made door. He explained that he would absorb the additional cost. I admire his honesty. Project completed a few days ago except for storm door. Good job, workers cleaned up everything. Sergei stopped by to be sure we are satisfied & accepted partial payment until custom storm door is here & installed. We also had an issue with during heavy rain we had water leaking into the soffet which they repaired with a j channel. I would definitely use Alliance again for any outside projects or repairs.

    They did an excellent job. It was an insurance job so had its share of headaches and bumps, but Norm was very professional and helped me navigate every step. His work was 110%, both exterior and interior. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I will hire him for any jobs.
