    Do It All Construction
The renovation came out just as it was envisioned. Steve was very professional and skilled at the job. Even though there were several unexpected issues due to the house being old and settled Steve was able to adjust for them, modify as was needed and took care of the issue so that the final product came out looking spectacular. We went from a 1950's bathroom with tiles falling off of the cement plaster walls to a modern bathroom style with a new shower with glass door, custom vanity with vessel sink, opening up the wall for a large recessed mirror, and new plaster and paint throughout. Additionally, he removed the window in the shower that allowed water to seep into the walls creating mold and the reason the tiles fell off. He did an excellent job patching up the shingle exterior so you couldn't tell where the window used to be. We plan on hiring him again to do additional projects around our home!

    A2Z Renovations LLC
We have been very pleased working with Rich. He is good at sizing up an issue or problem, listening to what you would like for a result, and proposing various alternatives, while considering the budget for each. His and his crew's work is excellent and carefully finished. Communication as work proceeded was always excellent, professional and comfortable, with prompt responses to questions. We have no reservation about going to Rich and A2Z first to consult about any house repair we might need. Approx. cost below reflects complete redo interior and exterior of 2 br, 1 bath house, and expansion of br and new bath in other house, siding and all items mentioned above, over 2 years.

    CML Roofing & Construction
Chris explained all the work that was needed, why it was needed and even drew pictures to help me understand the process. He and his staff did an excellent job. They pay attention to detail, there were no hidden costs and they clean up - there isn't even a stray nail. They were incredibly professional and polite. I was so impressed that I hired them to replace the roof on another house I own.

    A2Z Renovations LLC
We have had Rich B. and A2Z do several significant renovations, interior and exterior, to an 85 year old house that had had very little upkeep.  It is a pleasure to recommend him as skilled, professional, straight-talking and very capable and responsive.  This year he replaced an aging deck, which involved new footings, dealing with the filling of two septic tanks under the deck - one of which we didn’t even know existed! - and following our requests and specifications while offering advice and alternatives on both design and materials along the way.  If there is a problem later, Rich comes soon and remedies it, but this has been a minor issue.  He also re-cedar shingled the exterior and replaced several windows.  From our first project three years ago we have felt complete trust in him and his employees.  We have been very pleased and satisfied with his workmanship, responsiveness, advice and business manner for three years of projects and will definitely consult with him about any future issues.

    Westport Handy Guy
We described what we were looking for in each case, and Jim designed each of these items beautifully. He drew the items first, and worked with us to perfect the design. His execution was excellent as well, with attention to detail throughout. He was a pleasure to deal with, very responsive and on time. The prices were modest compared with the quality of the work.

    Mako Contracting
Mike is delightful to work with. He gives genuine thought in his estimates and designs and really works with you to come up with the best end result. He is highly professional in his estimates and billing and has reasonable deposits. While not the absolute cheapest, he provides very good value for a specialty carpenter.
I had two urgent projects, both of which he completed with minimal supervision after the initial estimate. The custom bed required quite a bit of email back and forth (he also sends pictures) since it was definitely a nonstandard piece of furniture. He surprised me with a beautiful two-tone wood top that really carried the nautical theme. I then came up with the third project which I originally avoided due to not having someone reliable to execute. That came in significantly lower cost than I expected.
I had trouble with several other people getting them to return calls, visit, etc. Mike is a great guy who I will hire for all my future specialty carpentry projects.

    A Plus Home Improvement
had a leak around a rather large chimney.  Sought three estimates.  I have to say I am an extreme do it yourselfer so I know what cost of materials and general labor cost are. But roofing is something I leave for the professionals.  A+ estimate was in the middle.  He was prompt for the estimate (during Hurricane Irene fall out) and prompt on delivering services. Net is there has been no leaking.  I checked the work myself and am very pleased.  Yes  would certainly call A+ again.

    A2Z Renovations LLC
Work extremely well done and in a timely fashion. Rich and his employees worked extra hard to accomplish the job while I was on travel for several days and it was complete upon my return. Rich is very accommodating and will work with you to find a time that will fit your schedule. Estimate for repairs was also accurate. I am very pleased with the end result and with the overall experience and would use him again for future jobs.

    A2Z Renovations LLC
We chose A2Z based on Angie's List recommendation and due to their all-inclusive expertise and their before-and-after photos making apparent that they could 'do it all' and do it beautifully.  We were very pleased and satisfied with the results. We called in March with some general and limited ideas of painting the old, dark panelling and replacing old board doors-with-latches with 'real' doors, and an apparent need to check the wiring which gave slight shocks at points (turned out it wasn't grounded properly or at all).    Rich Bonvegna, the owner and chief of the company scheduled a meeting within a week or two and said the work could be completed in a month or so, which was fine as our target date for completion of this seasonal summer property was early to mid June.  Even with our continually expanding and adding to things we wanted to improve or replace, all the work was completed by about mid-May and done in stages so we could travel 130 miles to see progress, refine the plans, and make further improvements.  We appreciated how Rich and his assistant Chris listened to our thoughts and ideas and proposed how to implement them, giving us a range of options and their opinions on each. What I thought would be not a big job evolved into an entire renovation of the interior of a building that had seen little work since it was built in the 1920's and which we did not want to do in a patchwork way.  As a result of our approach -- "Well, while we're doing that, let's do this at the same time" -- it was understandably difficult for Rich to project the final costs or the time it would take, but he did assure us all would be done by our June deadline which he beat by several weeks.    Within several meetings and conversations with Rich and his crew, we became fully confident in and comfortable with his ideas, his workmanship, his judgment of how to proceed in areas we were unsure how to do, and his choice of some items and fixtures we were unable to choose personally.  He was completely flexible about our buying some things and bringing or shipping them to him (e.g. faucets, light fixtures) and we are completely satisfied with other choices he made for us. So, yes, it cost a lot more than we anticipated going in, but the result was spectacularly better than we ever imagined possible, and the vast visual and functional improvements will be appealing to potential tenants and for us to enjoy for many years.  We are very pleased with the results and are already making plans for adding a second bathroom to another part of the house, probably next spring, and we look forward to working with Rich and his A2Z crew on this new project.
