    James Murdocco MD
I about five years ago. The last time I couldn't breathe. He is very friendly and very professional. He is professional because he is competent in the way he treats you and he listens to you, and he is also very concerned about your welfare and that you take care of yourself.

    Friedman, Dr. Jules M.
Dr. Friedman was entirely professional and very knowledgeable. He deftly diagnosed the problem and treated the cause right there in the office. No dizziness now for the first time in weeks.

    Jacewicz, Dr. George J
I came for a scheduled second appointment soon after during which, through the use of a specific medical device, I was subjected via puffs of air into my inner ear (each ear separately) while I was wearing a device that covered my eyes so that I could only see two green lighted dots. The lights measure the rate your eyes blink, as those rates indicate the function or malfunction of the Inner Ear. It was a two hour procedure, causing vertigo in some ways I had experienced at home and in other ways that I'd never experienced. It was intense at times, but the technician carrying out the procedure was very caring and supportive. Seeing nothing but two small lighted dots and experiencing vertigo in various intensities and ways was not easy, but it is a standard way of measuring what's going on in your inner ear. Years ago this procedure used streams of water into the ear, that has been changed to puffs of air. Next I went days later for an MRI, to be sure I didn't have a tumor: either in the ear(s), brain and any other parts of the head. I did not! A few days later I returned to Dr.Jacewicz after he had analyzed all of the testing data. The diagnosis is Positional Vertigo. It is unpredictable and no medications are available to take for it. What he did teach me is a series of exercises to do when the vertigo arises. They help my brain to "override" what the inner ear sensations are sending to it. These exercises continue to be extremely helpful. I can drive, but always with the awareness that a vertigo spell could occur. This hasn't happened, but I know if it does, I need to pull over, see if I can "override" the vertigo with the exercises, and if not, call 911 for help. Dr. Jacewicz did not feel the need for any follow-up appointments, unless the vertigo was not responding to the exercises. It's been a few years (I am guessing at the date of my appointment) since seeing him and the vertigo has not escalated, I have not had an episode while driving, and the exercises continue to be very helpful, whether the vertigo is mild or intense. I heartily recommend him.

My wife used to work with Dr. Cahill under physical procedures.  We have become personal friends.  He is outstanding and one of the best.  I would use him again in the future.
