He is excellent. He has been my doctor for fifteen or twenty years at least. He is next to us. His wife is also a doctor. It is a personal operation and they are very good. His bedside manner is excellent.

Everything was fine except the doctor was terrible. No personality, on the verge of being rude, inappropriate questions, made me feel so uncomfortable. Other than that, it was a nice and clean office, everyone else seemed nice and did their job well.

We are happy with him.  He's very prompt.  He's always on time and there is no waiting.  We personally like the man and we intend to stay with him.  We are happy with the care we receive from him.

I had been using Dr. Bigda as my primary care for over twenty years. He's a great guy, very honest and direct and very knowledgeable. He also does a lot of charity work in Haiti. His office has grown a lot since he first began seeing me. I was seeing him less and less and mostly being referred to the nurse practitioner.
In this particular case, I had seen him about leg pain after a fall. He diagnosed sciatica brought on by a swelled muscle. The treatment involved attempting to reduce the swelling. I progressively got worse over several months, but the treatment remained the same. I eventually went to a chiropractor who correctly diagnosed a ruptured disk.
I still like Dr. Bigda and might still be seeing him if I hadn't moved many miles away from his office.

I went to him when I was a kid. That is the second allergist we went to and we are very pleased with him. We see him on a regular basis because my son has major food allergies. They are very kid friendly. They are very attentive to listening to your concerns. They are willing to work with you and get a diagnoses as soon as possible. They will see you as often as needed. I have called for emergency treatments and they have got me right in. I just appreciate the candidacy of the doctor. He does not talk down to me and explains things to me. He does really good with my kids. We will continue to see them. They are excellent.

Dr. Kalter's office is a converted house. It is musty, dark and covered (wall-to-wall) with ugly, "old lady" wallpaper. Dr. Kalter's office manager was brusk. Her office was filled with stacks and stacks of seemingly unorganized file folders (I hope my patient file isn't in there somewhere!).

Dr. Kalter met with me in a somewhat dirty and very dark exam room. He was clearly disinterested from the get-go. He was also condescending. He did not want to hear me out. I had a list of concerns and questions, but he seemed much more interested in getting me "in and out."

He dismissed all of my medical questions as "nothing to worry about" without any information or explanation that might otherwise assuage my concerns. It's my body; I'm pretty familiar with it.

Though he is, of course, the doctor, it seems the least he should do is hear me out. Then, if it is his knowledgeable medical decision that my concerns truly are "nothing to worry about," he should explain why that is true. I won't be going back. I need a doctor that likes his/her patients. Otherwsie, what's the point?

He did diagnose a continuing health problem but failed to closely monitor it to the degree necessary when I was pregnant, to avoid harm to unborn baby. He treated me (as a woman) with condescension and did not like his decisions being questioned, using sarcasm and aggression to deride concerns and dismiss information from internet and other sources. When I was pregnant, he told me the pains down my leg were caused by my underwear being too tight, even though he did not examine me with underwear on...it was later diagnosed by my OB/GYN as sciatica. He would do occasional lab tests but fail to inform me of the results, or when questioned, just say "Oh you're fine," dismissing any discussion of it. Every year his office failed routinely to inform me about the day they offered the flu vaccination, even though I was supposed to be on a list to vaccinate first (because of asthma and pregnancies), and refused to provide vaccinations after that day, requiring me to find it elsewhere (city hall). His office scale is four or five pounds off, and consistently read differently than the weekly measurements I had at OB/GYNs and elsewhere. When I finally left, his office refused to provide me with my medical records, other than printouts of lab reports, which I could obtain myself easily from the hospital. (This is against the law.) He is a reasonable choice for a doctor if you never get sick, or are male, or are elderly and like someone fairly dictatorial in your life...but if you are a woman and want a joint partner/sounding board/directional help in your search for better health, count him out.

They can get you in if you are really sick or in an emergency either the day you call or the next. They have evening and weekend appointments. Anytime I've been sick they have diagnosed the problem and prescribed the proper medication. The entire staff is just as great as the physicians on staff.

She's very thorough and she follows through a follow-up. She also refers you to a specialist if needed. The staff is also professional and friendly. I feel so comfortable.
