Craig came out 4 or 5 times - each time he would tighten bolts and cycle the machine - it wouldn't make the noise. After a few days, we would get the loud noise back during the spin cycle. After the 4th or 5th time coming out, he stopped answering/returning our phone calls. Our washing machine is not fixed - it is not any different then when he started and we are OUT $257.85!!! We have filed a complaint with the BBB.

John and his crew were very punctual and the work they did was very good. They got right to work and didn't waste any time.  My only dissatisfaction is the cost: ~$590.00 for just the labor (a total of 5 man-hours (and one of those guys seemed like an apprentice) of indoor labor across two days).)  That strikes me as pricey, and it was surprising.  In fairness, maybe those are market rates; I dunno.  And it's my fault that I didn't ask for an estimate up front, nor did I try to haggle after I got the bill. Then again, I wasn't offered an estimate, and I don't want to have to haggle.  But I'm not angry because, again, all of the guys were responsive, professional, and did solid work.
I honestly don't know if I would hire them again, but said "yes" above because Angie's List forces you to answer the question.

    Mr Fix It Handyman
Mr. Fixit, took care of quite a laundry list in a very efficient and effective manner,
I was impressed that he changed his original schedule so that he could fix my sink disposal. I am having company for this weekend, and it was crucial that it was fixed, since it was also effecting my dishwasher.
Lorenzo and his assistant were very professional and even accomodated a few extra things I thought of.
They had all the tools they needed and were very prepared. I will certainly use them again and tell my neighbors too.

I was very impressed with this service.  I made initial contact via their website on a Sunday, and they responded on Monday morning.  By email, we scheduled the appointment for Wednesday.  Tuesday evening, they emailed to remind me about the service, and give an approximate time that the technician would be there.
On Wednesday morning, I received another email with the name and a picture of the technician, and a link to their website with his schedule (by zip code) which would give me an indication of how soon the technician would get to my house.  As he left the job before me, he called to let me know he was on his way and give me an estimated time of arrival.
When he got to my house, he diagnosed the problem very  quickly, called me to authorize the repair (I was at work), and then completed the repair, leaving the broken parts behind for my inspection.  By the time he left, I could not tell that he had been in my house to fix the oven, except for the box with the broken ignitor.
What was most impressive is that he did the work just before a photographer got to the house to take pictures for my house listing with my realtor (I'm selling my house), and the kitchen looked pristine when he left.

    FAMILY APPLIANCE SERVICE LLC
Our refrigerator was not cooling so I called John at Family Appliance.  He returned my call within 10 minutes, and offered to come right away.  I didn't think it was an emergency so we made an appointment for the next business day.  They called when they were on their way.  They figured out the problem quickly.  The fan motor behind the freezer back wall had stopped working.  The problem was actually caused by 2 Whirlpool design flaws.  So they fixed that by installing a drain heater kit, as well as the new fan motor assembly.  But the next day the refrigerator was still not cooling, so I called back.  They came right away.  They had defrosted the drain pipe, but it still had ice further down.  Probably our fault for not calling for service sooner.  There was no charge for the second service call.  They stayed until they were able to remove all the ice.  They explained that this is not the usual case.  They were very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous.  I liked that they explained in detail everything that they did, and offered advice.  They also cleaned up everything when they were done.  I was very impressed and would definitely call them again.  This is the company to call for all appliance repair!

They were excellent. I thought they worked quickly, and were really on top of their game. I appreciated that they used factory original parts which makes a difference since sometimes after market parts can fail quickly. I found them to be efficient and very nice. I've already hired them to come back to do some more work for me. I looked into using another company, but D & D Supreme was able to help me for much less. The prices were very reasonable! The service guy who came to my home was Craig.

They got me scheduled quickly. He came right on time and diagnosed the problem, he actually had the parts in his van and got it taken care of right away. The parts he used were actually better than the orignial factory parts, the original parts were plastic and the new ones were metal and nylon, which should last longer. The technician was very knowledgeable about the work being done and he explained to me in detail what he was doing.

One washer was under warranty. The guy was knowledgeable, quick, efficient and showed up on time. I was not going to use an appliance repair place because I thought it would be more expensive than it was worth but it ended up being pretty reasonable. I will use them again in the future.

John returned our call within an hour. Scheduled an appointment and was here when expected. Found the problem with our icemaker and water dispenser. Had the parts on his truck, installed and Voila! Very Very happy with his professionalism and friendly manner. Would hire him for other appliance problems.
