Our primary care doctor referred them. We see different doctors there because of their specialties. Their client base is huge and they are very organized. They always manage to squeeze us in if we have an urgent matter.

They have at least 12 doctors and to get an appointment is every bodies wish and their waiting room is enormous and it is always filled. He's the president of the company and he does both knees and shoulders which are my two issues. So I go to him for that and if I have to get referred to other partners for example I had to have a total joint replacement on one of my knees and Dr. Corsetti doesn't do that so one of his partner does. I got transfered to one of his partners and then back to him when the joint was done. In addition to both knees having major problems, my right shoulder three rotated cuff tears and a detached bicep so it is very serious stuff. John Corsetti did the surgery and he's a wonderful man and down to earth.

The Physician Assistants at New England Orthopedics are very skilled at giving the cortisone shots and cause very little pain and discomfort.

They took good care of me. I liked the staff. The doctor was very thorough and let me know what was going on. They told me what all my options were in the hospital. They didn't do surgery because of my age and the fracture wasn't that bad. It was something that just needed a cast for a month. I didn't have long waits in the waiting room and they took good care of me once I was in. The office environment was very nice and there was lots of space. I was taken in at the time they had me come. They were available as soon as I got there. The doctor was very friendly. He was a person who explained everything. I understood everything he said. He didn't use doctor jargon on me. He was friendly and a very comfortable person to be with. His communication skills were very good. The treatment was excellent. Everything came out fine. I am back on my feet with no assistance, no walker, no cane, and no cast. They took my insurance card when I checked in and gave my co-payment. There was no problem at all with billing and administration. It was very accurate and very quick.

Mr. Michaud's diagnosis was spot on in each case. Plenty of testing was used to verify the injuries. The treatments were appropriate.

    Riverbend Medical Group
My only complaint is how far behind they can get. However, I know that this is sometimes due to how much time they spend with each patient. I like it when my Dr listens to me and checks me out completly before ending the appt rather than rushing me out the door. I like Riverbend very much and my whole family are patients there.

The surgery is an orthoscpic surgery to remove part of the meniscus in your knee.  The miniscus is a piece o cartilage between the two other main pieces of cartelage in your knee.  Parts of it are very thin, and when it gets torn, it cannot heal because there are no blood vessles in that part of it.  A torn meniscus is something one can live with depending on how bad it is, but all of the people I've talked to (there were 6 co-workers) that had the surgery said that they were very happy with the result.  The 1 co-worker that I talked to that never had it done mentioned that he still has trouble with his knee years later when he twists his knee the wrong way.  I had a general anethetic for the operation, and I was in and out in 3 hours.  The knee was very stiff, but not all that painful.  I walked out of the hospital and got a ride home.  I was back to work in a week and a half.  But I was scolded by my HR department for NOT STAYING OUT LONGER.  Apearently, the insurance companies believe they know how long someone should be out for this.  Anyways, if you are going to have this done, be sure to file for FMLA before you start the process.  FMLA will pay your wage/salery while you are out, and you will not loose any vacation.

    Doctor, Dr. David G
I like his attitude. He is not insulting. He sat back and listened to what I had to say regarding some exercises that I had come up with as viable exercises. He was very amenable. I have use of my rotator cuffs now. He repaired my rotator cuffs through exercise. He was able to catch it in time, which kept me from having to have surgery. If not for him I would be on welfare. He is one of my favorite doctors. I would use this practice again. When I learned of his success in treating athletes, I deliberately sought him out as my orthopedic doctor.

What stands out is how complete surreal they are. The staff, I only saw one doctor, but I recall them very professional.

My arthritis condition was diagnosed, and a treatment plan was arranged. I have had several follow up visits and I continue to be pleased with the staff and physicians.
