    I've had Ren do many jobs for me over the years. This time he installed 3 replacement windows for me. As expected he did a great job. Removed the old windows, worked with me to find new windows that I liked even though they required staining on the inside, installed the new ones, replaced old sills as needed, stained the new windows. He was punctual and diligent. Everything got done in a quality and timely manner. Also he's a very nice friendly guy.

    Mike was prompt and professional. He viewed the project and admitted he hadn't put a sauna together before. His honesty was appreciated. He put the sauna together with one minor directional mishap, but came back immediately to make the change. The sauna works beautifully! Mike stood by his work and made sure that I was a happy customer before he considered the project complete.

    i was very very pleased with Lorenzo's work, he  was very congenial. i would recommend him to anyone. He was professional, respectful, timely and honest. There were complications and parts that he needed and he returned promptly the next day to complete the job.
    My second floor tenant had been drinking and was being very difficult, but Lorenzo kept his cool and managed to keep professional under such extreme circumstances. I will be calling him back for any work i need in the future. Truly a professional.

    As it turned out, we received one call a week later from his assistant, asking a few follow-up questions, and we never heard from either of them again. His knowledge earned him the A for professionalism. But, unfortunately, his knowledge didn't benefit us. I hope someone else  can get him to follow through. I feel sure he is quite talented.

    This was a hard decision on how to leave this review. Basically, the first appointment for the project overview estimates was 3/27/14.  I called this company because they appear (by their name anyways) to be able to do a range of items. i had 9 different projects that needed estimates. The first appointment seemed to have gone well and the person i met with appeared to be organized and interested in my projects. I then sent them an email summarizing the individual projects just so we were on the same page.
    On April 1st, i sent a follow up email with a few revisions (I haven't received any quotes yet anyways). Still did not receive a reply on any part of my requested quotes, or an acknowledgment email. 
    April 3rd, I sent another email asking about any updates on part or all of the quotes. I also commented on a couple details about a couple projects. Still I did not receive a reply or an acknowledgment of the information received.
    April 5th, since I haven't received any quotes yet, I sent another email with a few more revisions and I added a few more projects that I needed to do as well. My current list was 14 projects. I also called and left a message wondering if they received my emails at all.
    Finally on April 6th I received an email back. It said they were very busy; my quotes are complicated; and that they would work on them that evening. (Note: if I could have received some quotes at a time that would have been great, but I didn't.) I replied in the email that same day and just said Thank you.
    I did not receive any quotes that night or the next few days after that.
    April 10th, I emailed them asking them if they could provide most of the quotes or all of them by the next day, 4/11.
    April 11th, I received a reply from them saying they are extensive quotes and which ones are most important right now. I replied that some of the quotes would have been acceptable earlier than others (but I haven't receive ANY quotes yet). I gave them an updated summary list again to help them streamline the process and marked which ones I would like the quotes (6 of them) on right away. I mentioned I that I would those quotes by the end of the weekend, 4/13. 
    April 13th, late that evening I received an email back saying that their dad was very sick and have more work that they can handle now. They were apologetic. I replied that I understood and hoped the dad would get better soon.

    However, the facts remain that this is a business and I was a customer that should have received the necessary information in a timely manner. To me, less than a week is a timely response for quotes requested. The company name appears that they are very hands on and can tackle a variety of projects, which surprised me with this outcome and the lack of quotes. I took a lot of time to provide them details for the projects. Ultimately, any company should provide a timeline of when quotes will be given and keep within that timeline - or tell the customer right away that they don't have the capacity to do the projects for them. 
    I realize they may have a family situation now. Anyways, I hope their dad is definitely doing better.
    (Note: there was an option to show my address in this review page on Angie's List but could not tell if that would be posted, so I just selected "I went to provider's location". Not sure if this will show or not. I didn't go to their location.)

    I am shocked by your response. You knew the projects you needed to be done from the first appointment. At the time, I said to you that I would send you a summary list of what we had discussed. You are exaggerating in my projects descriptions. I can show anyone what my emails looked like. You were just not honest enough or admit to me that you could not handle all those projects up front. In fact, they were just quotes at the time. If you were experienced enough you could have put together the quotes as requested. I didn't tell you to begin work on them, just quotes (as many people often request from contractors). Some contractors are more organized than others.
    I understand that your family had medical issues but read the timeline of what I wrote earlier. A lot of time went by even before that information was given to me. 
    And now you are making it sound like it was my fault by your reply. Don't lose sight here that I am a busy person also. I made an appointment for quotes only. I expect the quotes to be provided to me no more than a week. If you, at the time of the appointment, was taking down the information we went over with my projects in person, than you were agreeing to continue with the quotes. You didn't tell me otherwise. When I said I would said you a summary email of what we went over in the appointment, it was just that a "summary" email of what we had discussed. If you had questions or concerns about it, a quick reply would have been appropriate.
    I am now judging how contractors do at the quotes stage. Because if there are issues like communication and follow-through at this stage, then that is a red flag to me for the actual project if it were to take place with that contractor. My emails were right to the point but it was probably beyond your workmanship abilities. You should have told me right away instead of wasting my time as well.

    And what do you mean where you wrote: "...hopefully you reconsider on this" Reconsider what?? Hiring you? I don't think so.  You seem all talk and then you are disrespectful to a customer. I think if I were a guy your reply would have been different. You appear to be the overly manly type. Some contractors definitely treat women differently if they have questions or inquires about their projects.

    If anyone wants to hire these guys, you are encouraging them to act rude to customers whenever they feel like it!

    Adam came to see my home to view the job and my thoughts on what was to be done.   He shared his experiences and what he would do were he the owner.  We discussed my preferences, his ideas, and he wrote up two contracts; listing all the services we COULD do at one time, and another describing what smaller services which could be done, with the rest of the job to be completed at a future date.  We reviewed and discussed his proposals, came to agreement and settled in a price 0f $1200, with me being responsible for purchase of the paint, drywall etc.
    Adam accompanied me to two stores in order to compare products and prices, explained the difference of the various products.  There was no searching for a store employee, as he was right by my side every step!  I made the decisions, he he did the lifting, carrying and transportation.  What a relief!
    Wow.  My home is over 100 years old and was neglected for the last 25.  So far, the removal of all the nasty old plaster has gone very well.  My home is swept after every work day and trash removed.  Drop clothes and zipper doors are used so there has been very little dust etc in my other rooms.  The young men are prompt and helpful.
    I will have more to say as the job is completed, but I am so impressed I had to write this now.  I have had other estimates which varied widely.  But I have never had the personal service I received now.
    In the past I have hired Adam to roof my garage, paint the second story of my home, replace damaged fencing and other "small" jobs.  He has always done a nice job.  Now that he has established his own business and has insurance etc, I am handing over bigger jobs.  He has never let me down!

    Despite the weather being unfavorable, he arrived ready to go! Everything was done in a professional manner. The work was done quickly, and I paid a very fair price for the amount of time and work that was involved. Living alone, it can be very difficult to accomplish some things simply because you need a second set of hands or someone stronger than yourself. I am SO glad that I found this website so I would never again have to worry about finding someone to help me with house-related repairs. I refer him to anyone I know who is looking for a handyman, and I will definitely be calling them in the future. Money very well spent!!!

    Ren was very responsive to scheduling the work which was great.  All work was completed to my request and quality was good.  I think the prices for each were a bit on the high side but not overwhelmingly so.  He was professional.

    Bob returned our phone calls promptly and showed up when he said he would. The original steps on our deck couldn't be fixed so he built totally new ones that are better than I imagined they could be. There was a lot of finish work that needed to be done and he finished it up for us. He was neat and after he left you wouldn't have known he was there. He cleaned up all the debris and when he was finished, I was thrilled with his work, his professionalism, and his responsiveness. Thanks Bob. We'll be calling again!

    Considering the wide variety of things that I asked him to do it all went very well.  It certainly made my life easier that he was willing and able to do pretty much anything I threw at him.  He mostly did what he said he would do, when he said he would do it.  He was also friendly and cheerful which was an added bonus.   He's pretty informal when it comes to documenting his estimates and bills, but that seemed to work out OK.  I made notes for myself as we went along, and  we didn't have any surprises or misunderstandings about the amounts owed.    I was very happy with the quality of all the work he did.  I rated his quality "good", because that is the level of quality that I was requesting.  The work was being done to prepare the house for sale, I wasn't looking for "excellent".  I appreciated it that he understood what I was looking for and responded accordingly.
