    Bellows Funeral Chapel
They were fabulous. Bellows made a very difficult situation bearable. They were kind and caring from start to finish. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Allan was professional, patient and kind every time we met. He was able to go back into old records (48 years ago) to find a casket similar to the one we had for our dad for our mom. Beyond words how grateful I am to have such a superlative business at one of life's most challenging times. They made it seamless and I am forever greatful.

It went fine. They were great. They were very helpful. We would recommend them. My brothers and I really liked them. We were from out of state going to Texas and my brother died. Before we even booked them they were really kind. They went into all the details about what our possibilities are. My brothers talked to them more than I did. My brothers told them that they made it all easy for them and unstressful during the sudden tragic death. They were very, very kind and very, very supportive. They were directing my brothers on all the different technicalities and not just during cremation but all about things having to do with death certificate, the process involved and the legalities. They just answered all the questions. The establishment was very, very nicely laid out. They had a nice urn room where we could buy urns or pick out woods. They have many different kinds of rooms for different things. It felt like I was in somebody’s home. It was very comfortable. There were rooms that we could have people in. Even though it was right near the highway, they used their space well. They had a nice little garden area outside which was uninspected. It was a small place but very personable and very homely. They made it very unstressful. We just had the cremation there. They spent so much time with us and explaining all the options etc. They weren’t business like. They were just very supportive of the whole process. The experience couldn’t have been better, excellent. The price was what we had expected. We don’t know how cremations go for but it seems it was cheaper than a funeral. I split it with my other 2 brothers. I suppose it was good. It seemed like a reasonable price for what they did. The quality was perfect. The manager came out when we picked up the urn when the cremation was over. That was very nice.

They were very professional and comforting. They were also very proactive, and didn't expect me to know all the details. They reassured me they would take care of things, and they did. It was an exceptionally unusual situation. The person had been on public benefits, and they didn't have money. Brasco's did an exceptional job of finding a Catholic church. They also found a Catholic cemetery organization and got them to donate a plot. They really did the best they could.

    Brown & Hickey Funeral Home
They were extremely professional. I would highly recommend them. They are the people to go to. They are very good. If there was anything above and beyond an A, I would give that grade to them.

    Goldman-Fisher Funeral Service
Harvey Goldman is a very compassionate guy. He grew up with my dad. It's not often when you go to a funeral and the funeral director gives your mother a hug and kiss. He is like family. It is a very comfortable environment and we felt very comfortable having my father's funeral there. It is a Jewish funeral home. The price was reasonable.

Everyone at Nichols Funeral Home helped to make the whole experience as comforting and easy as possible.  Kelly, in particular, was consistently gracious, kind, professional, and thorough.  Many times, when asked how I wanted to handle this or that, I would be feeling overwhelmed and just ask her to take care of it for me - and she always did.  She and I interacted quite a lot through the process of writing Dad's obituary and blurb for the funeral bulletin.  Kelly wrote a pleasant first draft and was gracious and patient with me about the editing process.  She was clear about deadlines for printers, but then did not push.  She gave me the space I needed to make sure that the printed words reflected what we wished.  Kelly walked us through the whole unfamiliar process gently and gave us as much information as we needed to make good decisions.  We did not opt for many expensive features, yet her services were always supportive and generous.  I feel that she was perceptive about us as individuals and about our needs and responded with genuine kindness. Nichols is a family-run business and we met all the family members.  Each had his/her own responsibilities in the funeral process.  They all showed a great deal of kindness and helpfulness.  We felt as though they were interested in us and in our memories of our beloved father.  We  chose them because they were close to my home - not knowing anything about any funeral homes in the area.  By the grace of God, I feel we could not have chosen better.  We will definitely go to them when next we need the services of a funeral home!

    Bell-O'Dea Funeral Home
The funeral went very smoothly. He even provided a police escort to clear our way from the funeral home to the cemetery along very congested city streets. Several relatives from out of state attended and Mr.O'Dea's initiative in providing the police escort was greatly appreciated by them because they feared getting separated from the funeral procession and becoming lost on unfamiliar streets.

They are absolutely wonderful. They are very good and offer personalized service. They pick us up at the house. They are just exquisite in arranging everything for me, taking care of things at the crematory and the cemetery and getting everything done. I just had to be there. They came and picked me up. Their price is competitive with other funeral homes. I would not say they are cheaper but their quality is very good. Their responsiveness and punctuality is absolutely perfect. They really make us feel like we are friends and that they are taking care of us. They are absolutely perfect in terms of professionalism.

My mother passed away (at a hotel) in Sturbridge, MA, while traveling from Maine to Maryland. The local medical examiner sent her body to the State's Chief Medical Examiner's Office since travelers fall under its jurisdiction. I found Casper Funeral Home's cremation services online and contacted them. They offer a flat rate cremation service that is economical but quite professional. We were able to take care of the arrangements by telephone, fax, and email. It was a very good experience given that going to Boston would have been a challenge. The medical examiner's office did require a relative to come to an identification. That was less than a good experience for the relative since the medical examiner's office showed only a very poor quality picture.
