    Owner/Contractor showed up ON TIME and worked diligently to organize my basement by cleaning and building wooden storage shelves and several other maintenance projects in other areas. During the time they were here, they WORKED continuously. I was VERY pleased with the outcome and especially with their intuitiveness. When I was confused as to what to do where, they offered REASONABLE and many times very inexpensive solutions. They left the area very clean and well organized.  Carpentry and painting was done to PERFECTION ... where 'good enough' was never an alternative.  Work that had been done by prior contractors and painters occasionally needed to be redone or touched up.   However, no work was done without consulting with me and getting my approval.  My budget was always taken into consideration. Both workers/contractors worked efficently and spent long hours in order not to be too disruptive ... always contacting me to let me know the current schedule and what the next project (of several that I had contracted) would be.  Work was done within budget.  I was consulted at every phase of each project when changes were necessary.  I would HIGHLY recommend this company.

    I have been working with Felicia at Spotted Salamander since 2008. We first met when I had a garage full of boxes and "stuff" which badly needed weeding out, bit by bit.  After that it was the kitchen, then my home office, then closets, then the library, then we went into maintenance mode.  After I moved to the Cape in 2009, Felicia helped me set up the new house, which was no small feat.  Her work is excellent - she is sensitive to her client's feelings and has a great feel for what can be accomplished without being pushy.  She is fantastically organized herself and digs in to work through tasks in a methodical, orderly way.  I have without hesitation recommended her business to friends, who are just as pleased as I am.  She is that wonderful mix of professional and personable which makes it a delight to work alongside her.  I can't recommend her highly enough.

    It went extremely well. Sparkling House is very reliable, trustworthy, and thorough. I need the cleaning done within a certain time frame every Saturday. They arrive on time, every time. I count on their service with my weekly rental turnovers and I have never been disappointed. They have also cleaned my personal residence and I think they do a superb job. The staff is also pleasant and presentable. I have used them for 5 years.

    Simplify For Life
    She is an organizer and stager. She is fabulous. She was recommended to me by my realtor, as I was going to have her come and look at the place for staging that you now have to do because everyone watches HD TV, but she is also an organizer and she was amazing. She was really good about suggesting ways in how to de-clutter the house basically. She did not just come in like to give instructions, she kind of came and worked with me, and really helped me a lot. She has been here about three to four times. She normally works in 3-hour blocks. Once she stayed like a half-hour less or so, but she accommodated that in her billing. As an organizer and stager she saved me in terms of work and how nice my house looked when she was finished. I thought she was terrific. Her price seemed reasonable, as she did a lot of work here. I am impressed, she did things like she recommended. She helped me with things like my husband's stuff, to give away. So she said okay here are a couple of places I could make donations, you want me to call for you, so I would pick something and she would call. She did the same thing when I needed to do shredding and she found two or three companies that would do that. She has these resources, but she did not like try to push anybody on me. She was very good about willing to make calls for me to help me out. I had about a dozen cartons of books that I was just going to donate to the library and she actually carted them down stairs and out to her car, and took them to the library and got me a text for those books. I would say she was really good. If I could figure out a way to get her to come to Massachusetts when I have to unpack I would do it to unpack my house and I do not think I would manage that one.

    All About Cleaning
    My summer cottage had been sitting closed up since 2008. Needless to say the field mice had taken up residence and there were mouse droppings everywhere you can imagine. Droppings were in every cabinet, drawer, corner and anywhere there was a horizontal surface. I had an exterminating service address the rodent problem but they would not do a clean up. I had been turned down by several cleaning agencies before Jennifer had agreed to take on the job. It was pretty nasty. The cottage was dirty and dusty in addition to the droppings. Jennifer and her crew turned a nightmare situation into a habitable environment overnight. The entire downstairs was cleaned, vacuumed, and sanitized. Every drawer and cabinet was cleaned and sanitized. All the dishes, pots, pans and glassware were cleaned and sanitized. The bathroom was under construction but they managed to get that cleaned also. I was especially pleased that before and after photographs were taken and provided to me. The difference was extraordinary. I plan to use the cottage in the next several weeks and I'm very grateful I won't have to tackle a cleaning job of that magnitude. If you want quality work done for very reasonable rates then Jennifer and her crew are the people you want to hire. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Jennifer and crew for a job very well done.
