    Newton Dentistry
After having a terrible experience with another dentist in the city, I was afraid to go to a new dentist. But after reading lots of reviews I decided I might as well see how it goes. The office is very clean and nice compared to other dentists I have been too in Newton or Waltham. The entire staff, from reception to the dentists themselves are very pleasant and warm. They ask you if you want to listen to a specific type of music, I believe on pandora or if you'd like to watch something on Netflix while you are having your cleanings, which is something I've never been offered anywhere else. I have had two different dental hygienists and each were very warm and welcoming, they really take into consideration people are uncomfortable when they come to the dentist and try to make that a lot easier. Every cleaning has been very pleasant, they check in with you to make sure you are not in any pain. The dentists and hygienists seem to have good relationships and great communication about your needs. My dentist, Dr. Jang is very friendly and really seems like she wants to provide the best care. Overall this dentist group is one of the finest I've been to, the staff are all very friendly, and the office it's self is very clean. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new dentist.

I was looking to switch to a new dentist (I had previously been going to the same one in my hometown since I was a little kid but finally decided to find a local one since moving to Dover) and went to Natick Family Dental based on all the good reviews and recommendations from work colleagues at my office in Wayland. Overall, I had a really good experience and would highly recommend to anyone. Location: the entrance to the office is a commercial building on west central street (next to Natick Common) and parking lot right next door. Really easy to get to. Office: The office is fully renovated and everything is new and the office decor is very nice. I was really impressed by the technology as well: I was reluctant to have new xrays taken, but the xrays they perform there are digital and expose you to much less radiation than standard xrays. Staff: Everyone was super nice. I spent the most time with the dental hygienist, who explained everything to me and did a great job of cleaning my teeth (most notably, she was very gentle when using the sharp tools to get the plaque off). Procedures: I had to get a chip tooth fixed with veneers and from gums/perio work done as well with the specialist. Really like the doctors as they spend the time to talk with the patients and not talk down to them. Insurance: They accepted my Cigna dental insurance, which covered the cost of my entire appointment. Overall, I would highly recommend the if you are looking for a dentist!

It was my first time going to the dentist in 4 years haha. I have to admit this was the first dentist appointment I ever made as an adult. I used to have my mom do it when I was still on her insurance LOL Even though I've had my own insurance for the last few years I still hate dentist office visits. I filled out their new patient registration online on a Friday but since they're closed I had to wait until Monday to call to make an appointment. Their schedule is packed so the next availability they had was 2 weeks out. The only thing I didn't really enjoy was taking x-rays of my teeth. I've never been a fan of it since it hurts to bite down on their tools. The dentist was friendly, the check-up/cleaning was fast. I hate getting my teeth flossed at a dentist office since they usually are very rough and my gums start to bleed, the dental assistant used a gentle hand and was very quick. I can't sit still for long so I appreciate that the cleaning was done in a timely manner. Overall I'm very pleased with my visit. I'm not a fan of going to see the dentist but they made it pleasant for me!

I am thoroughly impressed by the treatment I've gotten here. I hadn't found a dentist in Boston since I moved (4 years ago), and would go to my old dentist on visits home. I missed a few cleanings over the past couple years and found myself with an awful toothache and no one to call. I knew it was bad, but I wanted to choose the right dentist who was knowledgeable and wouldn't rip me off (after a recent layoff, I had no insurance). I spoke with the receptionist, who scheduled an emergency consultation and was very calming when I explained my situation. From the moment I walked in, I was treated with kindness and transparency. Dr. Tran took x-rays and they has an excellent endodontist for a root canal. As nervous as I was about the entire procedure, Dr. Vora explained everything calmly and clearly. When I came back for my crown, Dr. Vora was again reassuring and informative about the procedure. She went above and beyond throughout my whole visit, made me feel at ease, and I came away from this experience feeling so relieved I had found the right dentist! Their practice is truly interested in the health of their patients over trying to make money or falsely advising costly treatments. The front desk was always up-front about the costs. Dr. Vora stays informed on the most recent studies in dental health and is very skilled. I felt at ease with them the entire time, and will definitely be coming back!

First, I can't say enough good things about Dr. Vora and everyone I interfaced with in her office. After calling them I had an appointment within the week, even though it's a darned busy office. I let them know right off the bat that I hadn't been to a dentist since I was a kid and that it was a bad Army-dentist experience with pain and blood and trauma. It was so terrible that I've been too afraid to try again until recently. They immediately did a hundred small, considerate things to put me at ease: friendly but kept their distance, explained everything that they were going to do in both fancy-dentist-speak and English, were incredibly gentle, and kept a rolling dialogue of non-tooth-related things. They confirmed my wisdom teeth were probably causing my headaches and tight-discomfort feeling in my jaw. Then they cleaned my teeth (hardly felt a thing) and to my surprise declared my teeth in fine shape, amazing due to my lack of attention (seldom floss, brush once a day or maybe twice on a good day)! They said I had a small cavity and a small pit, but gushed at how healthy and strong my teeth and gums are. I felt like I had dodged a bullet! Teeth are expensive and until that moment I was sure mine were in terrible shape. But everyone there seemed so caring and compassionate and, dare I say, supportive that i couldn't wait to take better care of my teeth! They gave me a little care packet and told me everything about tooth care, including why's and full demonstrations and recommendations. Awesome office and team! Thanks guys.

Really good dental office. The staff is very friendly and nice. They do not try to sell me anything I do not need. My root canal went really well and no pain afterwards. I did use sedation which was pretty cool as I did not feel anything.

All my life I hated my smile and I knew as an adult I would choose one special doctor that would help me learn to love my smile for the first time. At the age of 30 searching for the best cosmetic dentist in Boston, but I was diligent and after weeks of searching through hundreds of dentist online I found Dental Associates of Arlington and decided to take a consult with Dr. Vora. Upon my arrival, the staff was surprising pleasant and very efficient. Dr. Vora is an amazing cosmetic dentist I've ever met in my short existence. She reassured me she could fix my smile, explained in detail how the process would proceed and answered all of my questions. I was sold as she flashed her perfect smile and told me I would be ok and I trusted her every word. She rushed my case with the lab and received my veneers in a week due to an upcoming surgery and placed my permanent veneers within days. I was unprepared to look in the mirror for fear that I wouldn't like the results, but when I did all I could do was cry. I was so overcome with joy that I sat in his chair and cried like an infant. I couldn't believe it, but due to her expertise and craftsmanship she made me look like an entirely different person. They were simply beautiful and I walked out of the building floating on air. I am forever grateful to Dr. Vora because she gave me my confidence back and I will spend the rest of my life telling anyone who will listen what a perfectionist she is. Thank you so very much Dr. Vora. You have no idea how much you've positively impacted my confidence!

Dr. Vora has been the best dentist I have had so far. I had a bad experience with my previous dentists who for some reason I couldn't trust. Every time I went to them I felt like they were trying to scare me into treatments that I didn't "need". They made it seem as if I had really bad teeth that needed some major work. I don't disagree that I hadn't paid enough attention in the past few years. But with Dr. Vora, I don't feel like a complete loser. She doesn't oversell treatments, she's pretty thorough as far as I can see and she's very practical. She has a very soothing demeanor, her office staff are great and importantly she doesn't chat with you while she is drilling your teeth. Her staff is great, very polite and friendly, they remember me and that I prefer lunch time appointments since I come directly from office and make an attempt to find one for me without me having to haggle. And I can find convenient appointments with them within a 2-3 week time frame which was a luxury I couldn't afford with my previous dentists who seemed to be the BUSIEST dentists ever. I know that my review is more of a comparison between my good and bad experiences. But I can wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Vora to anyone who is looking for a long term dentist. If I can I will never leave her practice.

This was actually my second visit and I figured I should probably give her a review since I really like her office. However on my first visit when I was filling out the paperwork, I realized I lost my insurance card but since I had 2 co-workers already using her services they took the time to lookup my information for me. They do email and text reminders which is great for folks like me who constantly forget stuff. In fact this was a reschedule because when they called to confirm my last appointment, I had the wrong date listed on my calendar. They were easy going about setting up this new appointment rather than giving a disapproving tone because of my mistake. As far as the 2nd visit went, I was seen within a minute or two of arriving. The hygienist was friendly and asking about any dental concerns including one I brought up at the last visit, which shows me she actually reviewed my file before seeing me. I also inquired about a new night guard and by the end of my cleaning they already had my insurance info on it and my total out of pocket cost should I choose to get one. BTW the hygienist works fast but never once did she nick my gums Everyone is warm, friendly and caring. Every step of the way they take the time to make sure you're comfortable and explain what they will be doing so you understand the process. Overall my experience shows me they value my time as much as theirs, they care about their patients as people, not just another file and I've never felt that they are trying to sell you something you don't need.
