Wanderson was easy to work with - very responsive and responsible. He and his team worked quickly, delivered on exactly what we asked and stuck to the proposed budget. I don't think we've ever had that experience before. We are thrilled to have found him and will definitely call him again. He did a variety of painting, carpentry and small fixup projects in our house, and seemed capable of taking on a wide range of issues.

    Mr. Handyman of Greater Newton
Joe responded to my Angie's List email in minutes and agreed to get the 1/2 day's worth of work done the next day. On the day, Bill got right to work and had the whole job accomplished in under 3 hours. The price was as estimated, and included bags and disposal. Cleanup was done well too.

    Boston HandyMan
Boston Handyman did an outstanding job overseeing, managing, and providing services during our home renovation, which included a full kitchen remodel and bath remodels. The work included demolition, construction, electrical, plumbing, painting and more. He is thorough, pays immaculate attention to detail, offers and explains options, and included us in all decisions. He ensured the highest quality work was performed timely and efficiently, ensured all work was done to code and his own personal standards (which are exceptionally high), and stayed in line with the agreed-upon budget. We have been entirely pleased with all of the work that was performed. If we need any work done on our home in the future, we would only trust him with our home.

Did not go well. I had sent a link to the desk to the handyman and was provided a quote for 2-3 hours of labor. My husband was home to meet him and all the pieces were out of the box and ready to be assembled. The handyman kept complaining to my husband that the parts were "not labeled" and he seemed frustrated. I returned home from work 2.5 hrs. into the assembly and I found the handyman sitting on the floor with the instructions, the desk had one small area partially assembled and he still complained to me about the parts not being labeled. It was obvious that the handyman didn't understand the instructions and I did not want to waste anymore time having him work on the desk. I was very disappointed to say the least. My husband told the handyman I was very upset and that we would find someone else to assemble the desk. The handyman and my husband agreed that there would be no charge for his visit. We ended up getting someone in the neighborhood to assemble the desk and he had to actually take apart the section the handyman had assembled because it was done incorrectly.

    Boston HandyMan
It went very well. I am very clean and neat and all the cloths and tarps were laid over my counters and my floor. He cleaned up after the installation. New holes had to be drilled into my existing granite and Vaughan was very careful to not crack the granite. The job was done to perfection.

    Handyman Fran
Fran did a great job. Returned my initial call right away, come out to look at the job, gave me estimate, set up a date, confirmed the day before. Were pretty handy, but if there is something I cant do or dont have the time, Ill call him again for sure.

Beware! I absolutely do not recommend using this vendor. If you do use this vendor, you should be careful. Know you are being charged over $2 per minute, regardless of what work (if any at all) was done and regardless of the handyman's pace (which I can tell you from experience is unbelievably slow). Let me start off by saying that the fees were absolutely explained to me upfront. We explained the problem (a leak) to Joe, the owner, and we were told they could help. He said someone would come over, do some investigative work, and then potentially make some repairs to stop the leak. The "investigation" basically consisted of handyman giving me a tour of my house for 2.5 hours as he pointed out all the different possible sources of a leak. The roof deck, the roof, the flashing on the roof, the siding, the plumbing, the gutters, the dormer, etc. I am not a licensed contractor, and I totally get the diagnosing a leak is a lot of trial and error, but at over $2 per minute I did not need to be explained all the possible (which is all that was done) sources. I immediately felt that this guy was in over his head and that this was probably a mistake, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Once my 2.5 hour tour was over, the handyman then wrote up the bill - $311! With no work done! There was no diagnosis, no repairs, and a lot of chatting/explaining (again, at over $2 per minute), so obviously I was upset. The invoice stated the work done as: "Investigate water leaks throughout the house" and "looked at inside and exterior". This is the explanation for a $311 charge. I attached a pic of the invoice. When the handyman could see I was upset, he offered to put me on the phone with Joe, the boss. Joe was incredibly rude and treated me like a threat instead of a client. Joe lectured me (you can tell he has done this before) that the fees were explained upfront and that their time is valuable, despite the fact that the handyman was slow, chatty, and meandering. Other than cutting him off and asking him to leave, I'm not sure how I would have prevented this 2.5 hour "investigation". Anyways, Joe was not having it and basically told me I need to pay whatever time was spent by the contractor, regardless of the speed at which things were done and what was actually accomplished (which in this case was absolutely nothing). Terrible.

Excellent . I have dealt with many contractors before and honestly I can not think of anyone reaching their performance . Briefly stated they were excellent in everything they did , from being nice and polite to professional in their work and they even went above their contract and fixed things I did not know about . I can not say enough to recommend their service . I was fortunate to hire them . If you are fortunate enough to hire them you will be very very satisfied . I can not say anymore

    Handyman Matters of Greater Boston
I am very pleased with the work done by my handyman, Brian. Not only did he fix a hole in my kitchen wall and then level out the wall where tile had been removed, he retiled the entire backsplash. In addition, he took care of several other items for me including fixing a rotten threshold at my front door, fixing the strikeplate where the screws had stripped the wood, and repairing a handrail. He even quickly fixed a couple small things that he brought to my attention after noting them around the house, like my gate to the back yard and the strike plate on my bathroom door. All of this work, including the complicated tile that I picked, took just three days. I am beyond impressed. Brian was on time very day, worked very hard for the entire time, and cleaned up each and every day. He also is one of the neatest handyman that I have ever seen! We will not hesitate to hire him again!
