    At Your Service Appliance Repair
Paul was amazing! He responded to our inquiry within a few hours of my online request and was able to come for service the next business day. He immediately knew the issue and had the repair parts in his van. He was professional, funny and not condescending. We also wanted him to look at our dishwasher and he didn't even charge us to look quickly and determine if you be best to purchase a new one. He recommended a brand and showed us how to install it ourselves. Free of charge. He was excellent and we would definitely hire him again. Thank you!

The diagnosis was made challenging because the washer was connected to a shutoff valve unit. I was very impressed with how the repairman (Justin) went about assessing the problem. At the end, the problem was with my shut-off valve unit, not my washing machine. Everything works fine now.

I called Paul, told him the problem and what the gas guys had thought was the problem. He seemed to know it was the ignitor before I finished the sentence. He coordinated a time to come out with my tenant and came out and fixed the problem within a day or so. I would use him again.

George came to work on our oven, which had a broken ignitor. We have a rare model oven so a new ignitor had to be ordered. The work was done in a timely manner, proper expectations were set regarding timing, and the price was as quoted.

    Warrendale Appliance
The technician came in, took maybe a minute to remove the back panels, looked at the switches and the compressor for another minute, put the back panels back on and then told me the compressor has gone bad. Then he tells me he does not work on compressors. Then he goes on for a couple more minutes telling me I should buy a new refrigerator from Warrendale Appliance because the owner knows more about refrigerators than anyone he has ever met. He was at my house less than 10 minutes of which he maybe worked 3 minutes and spent another 3-4 minutes trying to convince me I should go buy a new refrigerator from Warrendale Appliance. I paid $139.95 for a technician to come to my house to tell me something I already knew who does not fix what I asked them to fix to begin with. They were very fast to respond to my initial call and for the technician to come to my house. Since then I have complained and asked for a refund and now they wont respond at all (big surprise). This was a complete and total joke. Maybe they are good with sales but their service is the worst I have ever had. I dont recommend them for service to anyone and I will never use them again. Their service call was basically a sales call for which I paid $139.95.

    Same Day Service Company Inc
Early Friday morning they called me and said they would be out around noon. They called 30 minutes prior to showing up and were on time. Quick diagnosis but unfortunately the needed to order a new dryer drive assembly. Part was ordered, they contacted me Tuesday of the following week to say the part was in and put me on the schedule as the first appointment of the day. Installation was quick and professional and we were up and running in no time. They even threw in a one year warranty for free since we had to wait for the part! Great experience will definitely call again if needed.

I really wanted to write a good review because Paul is a neighbor. From what I gathered his dad (also Paul) is in the business too. The younger Paul came to my place. The business has a couple of names. The check I wrote was not to At Your Service, but that's who I called. There was some scheduling confusion so I can't fault him too much for coming late. I will fault him for price gouging though. Paul came very close to misdiagnosing the problem which would have cost me an extra $250!!! If the dishwasher didn't make a tiny chirp while he was there, I may have spent $500 to fix my three year old $650 dishwasher. Once correctly diagnosed, it only took a couple minutes to install the new part. As we discussed when I scheduled the appointment, the cost of the visit alone was $85. The total cost of the bill including the part and installation was $238 after using a $10 angieslist coupon. I thought that seemed like a lot of money for a valve so I went to the Bosch website after he left to find the part. He left the old one in my trashcan and wrote the name of it on my receipt, so it was easy to find. The part on the Bosch parts website listed for $40. Even if he marked up the price by 100% that means that he charged me $158 for a visit that took about 40 minutes. One other thing that didn't sit well with me... he left with a piece of copper that was in my dishwasher. I imagine if he collects enough of that out of people's homes, he can make a fair amount of money. I didn't see any copper go in with the the new part. I am disappointed.

My dryer broke and I had no idea what to do - it's too expensive to buy and install a brand new gas dryer. I called Paul and he came the same day with a colleague and fixed everything in less than 30 mins. He explained everything he was doing to make sure I understood the problem and his price was unbeatable. I will definitely hire him again!!!

    Boston Equipment Service Company
The communication started on the phone and not much later the team arrived. They were pretty fast in diagnosing and taking action. Emre, the guy is actually an engineer and he is a very reliable source for all technical problems with a fast and accurate analytical view and knows about how quality service is provided.

    Advanced Appliance Service
The service was fine. The gentleman basically showed up in a short time frame, got the job done, and fixed my equipment. It was not perfect, but it was pretty good. I did have to pay more than the $79 Big Deal for the actual repair. He was polite and nice. He was really accommodating in terms of coming on a short notice.
