    From start to finish, it was a pleasure working with Papalia. They were on time for every appointment, their pricing was clearly explained, and their workmanship is second to none. Papalia had the best price out of multiple contractors, and they were able to perform all aspects of the work in-house as they employ HVAC, plumbers, & electricians. Nothing needed to be subcontracted. Their finished work was excellent, Roger, James, & their entire crew were very courteous and professional. I would certainly recommend Papalia, and I will be using them in the future.

    Dan provided prompt high quality service that I can always rely on. Dan converted my old oil heating system to a high efficiency gas system (Burnham Alpine) in 2014. It has been working great for 4+ years without a single issue until yesterday when the 2nd floor heating zone stopped working. So I reached out to him by email for an appointment for a fix. One hour later, he responded with a couple of questions like system pressure etc.. After several back and forth email communications, he identified a potential problem with my thermostat and suggested what I could do if I felt comfortable, otherwise he would come out to my home for the fix. So I followed his instructions: testing the thermostat by pulling out the wires and twisting together. After I re-tightened the wires back to the thermostat, the heating system kicked on. I am so grateful for his quick help to fix the issue during the weekend. It was very stressful when the heating system was down in cold weather, and Dan service really brought me this peace of mind.

    Wonderful experience with Royal Air, both the workers that provided the service, the front office , and the person who came and gave the estimate. Prompt and polite replies in response to our many calls and complete professionalism from everyone we came in contact with. Meticulously clean and appreciative of keeping our home and the work area cleaned each day. We are very pleased with this company and would not hesitate to use them again.

    I chose the company because of reviews and awards for "super service", but I think now that part of them were due to the complexity of the equipment which does not allow a non-specialist to tell good from bad, and to the fact that for HVAC repairs it's close to impossible to get an estimate over the phone even when you know for sure what is wrong. Jonathan arrived very soon after my call. He replaced one part, which was not really necessary to do, installed another, which was not necessary at all, added refrigerant, which caused more harm than good (next morning he offered to come and remove some) ( total cost - $1,119). While working he mentioned the "termal expansion valve" as a possible cause. _After that_ he proceeded to make sure that his understanding was correct, and the valve was the culprit - instead of checking it from the very beginning. He suggested replacing it for another $4,000. When asked to submit an estimate, he promised to send it and disappeared forever. The job, finally, was done by "Sila" for $2,388.

    I first hired this company 5 years ago, some of the employees are great, others very rude and have an attitude. The worst part is that they are not loyal to their customers, if you call with an emergency you have to wait a week. Also they performed a very lousy job installing the heating system in my house. They left part of my house without heat, therefore I had to hire another company to install a partial heating system for the area that they left without heat. Their customer service is atrocious

    None of the three pros you recommended were able to come. Temperatures were in the 90���s. Kerivan Lane came within 24 hours, made temporary repair so unit would run and returned several days later for a permanent fix. Guys were pleasant and efficient (one was on crutches due to broken foot). They aren���t cheap, but otherwise very good.

    Called this company based on a referral from the gas company AND Angie's list reviews and should have done a better internet search about them before scheduling for an estimate. I had to take time off from work to meet the guy for the estimate as they will not come on a weekend. The guy shows up and is very pleasant but new employee (personally based on his inabilty to answer several of my questions, I'm guessing he is new to HVAC world). We discuss the work I would like to have done and he takes measurements and leaves. A week goes by and I have not recived my estimate so I contact the company and apparently he is out due to a family emergeny and they have no idea when he will be back. They look at his so called notes and cannot provide me with an estimate and tell me they will need to send someone out again to do it. I ask if they can come on a Saturday as I have already taken time off from work once to get the estimate and they tell me they don't work weekends so if I want an estimate I have to take time off again. I totally understand that this guy had a family emergency BUT since the problem was on their end I should not have to take time off a second time, they should accomodate me which clearly they had no interest in doing. I went on line tonight before posting this and am now happy this estimate fell through as I discovered their accrediation from the Better Business Bureau was revoked and their yelp ratings are 2 to 3 stars. Not sure how they rate so well on Angies list.

    Sila is a first class company. This have nailed it on all fronts. Andrew and Wes in customer service are fantastic. Always keeping me up to date, always available when I needed to talk with them. They record everything in their system, so everybody knows what's going on. The technicians are excellent. Tony came by today, and he was highly professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. It's a no-brainer to work with Sila.
