I needed him to clear a slow drain in my bathroom.

I am always surprised when contractors don't return phone calls or e-mails. I am even more surprised when he or she does call back, schedules an appointment, and then doesn't bother to show up for the appointment. This is what happened with Drain King. I talked to David, set up an appointment, arranged to be home at that time, and he never showed up. I called him and left a message and e-mailed him, and never heard back from him. I guess he doesn't want my business? I used him twice a few years prior, and he did good work clearing our bathroom drain. So, I was surprised he didn't bother keeping his appointment, or communicating with me when I tried to contact him. I would not refer him to anyone I know that wants drain work.

Cleaned out and flushed clogged drains from kitchen sink and dishwasher and main drain from house. Removed old garbage disposal and installed replacement unit.

The work involved two visits by David. The first was to clean out and flush the drains and the second was to replace the garbage disposal. I wasn't getting much of a response from a local plumber, so I called Drain King as a long shot because I wasn't sure someone from Indian Orchard would be interested in traveling to Westfield. I was wrong. He was more than willing to come to Westfield. He was patient and took time to answer my questions and explain what he was doing. Based on my impression when he did the first job, I hired him to do the garbage disposal work. David was prompt, courteous, did a good job and cleaned up after he was done. I would hire him again.

David came out to assess and fix a toilet clog.

David came all the way out to the house and instead of taking our money, he informed us that the town was doing some work on the water/sewer pipes which could be responsible for the clog. He did assess the clog and looked over all the pipes, and said he'd rather wait until the town finished snaking out the sewer lines before doing any work, in case they were able to fix the problem. He showed up right after I called him, which was greatly appreciated, since I was 9 months pregnant at the time. A very nice, and professional person.

I used Drain King Royal Flush to unclog my drains.

I think Drain King Royal Flush were great. I liked that they came the same day and they were $30 cheaper than anyone else I called. Both my kitchen and bathroom were clogged, like oh my god, and I had company coming for Thanksgiving. I just moved in here and I never had a garbage disposal before and I thought I could put everything down the disposal and I did. I clogged it up good. They came and took care of the problem and were neat. They were good. He was professional. He was in and out. I asked questions and he answered them. I would definitely use them again. The guy who came out was great.

Unclogged a complicated drain

Responded and made an appointment on very short notice. Very professional and thoroughly explained everything done to take care of the clog. Came on time and was very helpful from the initial phone call. Helped us out on short notice. Highly recommend.

Roots had grown into our pipes, causing our plumbing to back up into the basement. We called this company in need of emergent response to clear the drain.

He was prompt, but he failed to get the whole clog out. The only reason I give a C is because he offered a 3 month guarentee on his work, luckily for us because we had to call him back 4 times for the same problem. Which he did not charge for. But 2 years later we had the same problem, and the new Drain company we called put a camera into the pipe and showed us the tiny little hole Drain King put into a much larger clog. So all in all, I wouldn't call Drain King again. The free of charge guarentee is nice, but dealing with a flooded basement 5 times is not worth it. I'd rather it be done right the first time.

The downstairs toilet and bathtub were backing up into the bathroom. I called Drain King and he said he would be at the house in approximately 2 hours. He was right on time and spent about 2 hrs cleaning all the drains including the main pipe from the house which turned out to be the biggest problem. I thought his fee was very reasonable and would not hesitate to call him again
