    Steve's Import Auto Repair
I have been going to car mechanics for 40 years. I have had great mechanics (Paul Dolmetsch SAAB guy) and horrible ones who do bad work and overcharge you. Steve is a keeper. He has done a lot of work on my Audi A4 6M, all very quickly and more than reasonably priced. I recommended him to my wife, and she takes her VW GTI 6M to him as well now. We are both very pleased with Steve, and hope you give him a chance.

    Century Auto Wholesalers
Two muffler heat shields had come loose under my car causing a rattling sound. Century Auto Services repaired them. If I had gone to the dealer they would have replaced them with new ones. One new heat shield cost what Century Auto Services charged me to repair two of them. They are honest and charge fair prices

It was good, no problems. some tire companies don't change tires unless you purchase that form them but they are great. They were professional with competitive pricing.

    Forty's Carburetor and Auto Repair
Jerry does an amazing job, price is right and never had an issue once the job was completed. Any questions I did have after the work was done were answered in a polite manner and to my satisfaction. Would bring my vehicles here without thinking twice and would recommend him every time.

Excellent! They're professional and friendly. They tell you when you don't need any service and they don't try to sell you something. I highly recommend them.

    Bob Pion Buick GMC
I paid them $118 to be told "possibly battery bouncing and vibrating causing battery to drain." So... I paid them without ever getting a resolution. Their response? Come back and pay us again. Not going to happen ever again. Sticking with Honda or Hyundai!

    TECH AUTO SVC INC
Totally ripped me off from front to back. Rented a vehicle. Dropped my Truck and told Rich the front man, according to the computer, my #7 cylinder on my Silverado 1500 with 200,000 miles plus isn't firing. I asked for an evaluation and a phone call to see if it was an injector or coil etc. and how to proceed and cost etc. No call from Rich, so I called the next day to find the truck was already being worked on, without permission. There goes my option on material quality and even if I should do the job. I am an able auto mechanic but was unsure about evaluating the injection system and ignition system. However I am happy to pay an evaluation fee and determine on my own, how to proceed and if I should use authentic AC DELCO GM parts or aftermarket parts.. Both options were requested and both now taken from me! I was then told my oil was changed, also without permission. Not a major deal but on top of the lack of promised contact, it was a little annoying! I was told the cost was $600 plus to my complete surprise, but because I was referred by a friend and was ignorant to the specifics of the parts and install process took it on the chin with a grin. Since i had the rental, I then asked for my MASTER power window switch to be replaced as the master switch no longer operated the passenger side window and leaning over to use the switch at the passenger window was a hassle. OK all done! Shocked!!! $900 plus, I was told a few wires at the door hinge point had broken and that was the problem along with the master switch replacement, replaced an ignition coil and fouled plug! When I expressed my shock i was told the coil was $200 authentic AC DELCO parts....time and effort to find the problem etc... I reminded him I told him #7 was failing...Fine whatever I need to get to work and return the rental car... Woke up and felt totally ripped off... I would never have put authentic GM in a work truck with over 200,000 miles but I wasn't given a choice.... So I looked up parts, GM coil $94 retail not the $200 Aftermarket $54 I'm sure with a mechanics account much less! OK, so he mad marked up parts, it happens....But I looked at the coil in the engine compartment and then looked at a video on changing it...2 10mm bolts, a clip and the spark plug and wire, took the mechanic posting the video about 1 minute to replace the coil...I was floored! Brought it back to complain that my power lock on the master side they replaced, does'nt work now by power. The rubber wire harness seal from the door to the main body is not re installed, and open to the elements. I mentioned my DISBELIEF in the $200 coil charge and was quickly shown a piece of paper that I was not allowed to handle with a $200 charge on it. Ostensibly my coil purchase. I asked for a copy of it and was told "NO" by Rich. The mechanic that worked on the car came out and told me that he had to do a lot of other work to the engine, and that is why the cost was so high....when pressed as to the scope of work....I was told it was 2 more plugs and wires that were oil fouled. (Had he asked I would have said the wires are almost new and I have a whole set of plugs) When I complained further and wanted to see the wiring and have my power lock fixed I was told it must be a "new issue" nothing to do with the master switch part replaced or the door panel being off. I was then told the wires in the door had to be replaced because of corrosion, not in the door hinge as rich said from continual motion of opening and closing. I asked to be shown the repaired wires and he refused to do so. I was told they were “IN” the wire harness. That he had to run them all down. Knowing there are only a few wires from each switch at the master and they're color coded, the claim of massive time running down the wires didn't really cut it...I pressed again to show me and again I was told they were inside the harness. Wire harnesses, with many wires are typically tightly bound in binding tape and fastened at multiple points.... "How then did you access these hidden, bound wired and repair them" I asked... Diversions and projections is all I got.... "Why didn't you do it yourself if your such a know it all?" I immediately retorted that "I would have if I was given the opportunity as requested, and that all I asked for was a paid evaluation..... They were so against the wall and lying so badly now Rich simply looked down at the desk and would not even respond to any further inquiry! The Mechanic stated the standard "Ultimate Modern Clerk Defense Line" "I'm not going to be talked to like this" Then the "Triple Dog Dare" finale and only last refuge of a scared pinned lying Clerk! "I'm gonna call the Cops" You know and they now they are snagged when they cannot rationalize or articulate why it takes less than 3 minutes to replace a coil but was billed at 3 to 4 hours of labor and the parts were marked up 300% or more.... But hey if you wanna use them it’s a free country

    Dave's Truck Repair Inc
RV OWNERS BEWARE. Brought my 36 ft 2009 Itasca RV to Daves for Tire check, oil change, front end shake, AC blowing cold air, new batteries, inspection sticker. I am not complaining in regards to parts pricing as it was average. I’m not complaining about the 145.00 per hour labor charge. I am however appalled at the amount of labor hours charged. It took a week and half to get the hours breakdown as the original bill only charged a lump sum. Remove 4 tires and inspect, replace 1 tire with customer supplied tire….charged 362.50 labor ( i ordered tires from them but they could not get them in time, local company replaced all 6 tires put them on rims balanced in 1hour) Replaced 3 batteries located under step by door…...charged 290 labor to install batteries just labor as battery cost was 425.00 Pressure tested Chassis AC replaced freon ($66.00 for the freon) charged $435.00 labor. OIL change (47.64 in oil and filter) charged $145.00 labor. Checked front end 145.00 Labor ( still shaking and roaming) Checked lights found 1 side marker lens missing charged 6.40 for the lens and $145.00 labor to install it. Total labor 1232.50 Total parts 570.61 total Misc 70.00 total 1873.11 They put a discount of -362.50 on a bill that does not add up. They gave me a bill that read 2138.11 - 362.50 discount plus tax for 1811.27. To sum up I had to pay 1232.50 in labor to have a tire check, put on 1 tire that I had to bring to them, an oil change, replace 1 side marker, check and refill AC and front end inspection (that I did not get any results of) and install 3 batteries just install them i had to pay additional for the batteries. I had to pay in cash or Credit card and I had to sign a separate hand written form with my CC Number on it saying I agreed with the charges or they would not give me my RV back. At no time was I called to approve these charges. I approved the battery purchase never being told they would charge me almost $300 to install them. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
