  Sonny, the owner of the company, was the only electrician who actually came out and gave me an estimate in person. I got a few other estimates but they were all over the phone. Maybe that's not a big deal but I think it speaks a lot about Sonny's commitment and professionalism. We agreed to a price and set a date. Sonny said he would be at my house by 8 AM on the day of the install and he was on time. He and his apprentice did the installation (new panel, new outside line and a meter box) in under six hours. The installation is clean and looks really professional. The apprentice even vacuumed after he was done. This was a 100% positive experience. I would definitely hire Sierra Electric again.

  Dave Lane Building and Remodeling

  Dave was very informative and helpful throughout the project. He communicated through email and gave us updates. When we had questions, he answered them and put our minds at ease. All of his employees were respectful as well. Everyone started early in the morning and when they left at the end of the day, everything was very tidy. Our new deck is safe, up to code, and will be enjoyed in the nice weather. We really like the solar-powered lights that were also installed on our deck. We highly recommend Dave Lane and his workers. Professional, courteous, and knowledgeable! Thank you very much for our beautiful new deck! :)

  I bought a big deal for this service. From what I can remember they were really good. They came out to provide the service pretty quickly after I purchased the deal. They showed up reliably. I have worked with them before and I think that they suggested a very good, less expensive option. I was afraid it would be expensive, but the option they provided ended up being a lot cheaper than I was afraid of. I think they seem pretty honorable, reliable and they are not out to cheat me. I think their price was pretty reasonable.

  They're wonderful. Their prices were high. When we call them they come almost right away, like within a day or two of when we call. Their response time is good. Their work is excellent. We had a ceiling fan that we didn't know why it stopped working. They took a look and took it all apart. Apparently, there's a special box that needs to go in ceiling fans and it wasn't there. The previous owners didn't put one in. When they touched it, the whole thing fell to the floor. They spent two and a half hours putting it back together for about $375, which was kind of high. They'll find the problem whatever it is and they'll let you know. We uncovered live wires in the wall of our bathroom. They came very quickly and pulled them out for us. They added a heater to a room. They've checked wires in another room. They've added outlets for us. We bought the house in November and I think they've been here three or four times. Their prices are a little high but you pay for the quality. You get what you pay for.

  Guaranteed Building Maintenance

  We didn't go with them.  Their estimate wasn't bad.  They were prompt and nice.  They were professional.  It was a fair estimate.  The quality of the work that the guy was putting in and everything that he was explaining was definitely worth the money he was asking for.  There were pros and cons.  It was a positive experience.  The experience was good.  They were friendly and they were polite.  We would definitely recommend them.

  Ray Kenny's Quality Home Improvements

  He kept saying that he was going to come back and finish. Incomplete and sloppy work. Minimal receipts. Initially he told us he was going to charge us less. Prior to completion he charged us more. He left a few sections of the siding incomplete for over a year. He kept blaming it on the weather. He left tools in our garage throughout the winter. We had to have someone else come out to finish the work. He didn't caulk around the windows at all. He did also not frame any of the windows except one. He tried to tell us that areas of bulging siding were natural. When I would call him he wouldn't answer the phone. Excuse after excuse.

  They don't take credit card. The guy came out and did everything he was supposed to do; he called up after the job. I gave him my card to send the bill up north, I never got a bill but a call saying you didn't pay the bills. Then that guy said we don't take cards. I was pleased with them but was surprised that they don't take cards. They were prompt and showed up on time.
