    3 E International Inc
Very well - 3E had been recommended to me by colleagues who also had a great experience with them. Mike and his team were professional, polite, and took great care of our things as they were being moved. The final cost was in line with the initial estimate so there were no surprises. I would absolutely use them again if we need to move in the future and have already recommended them to friends!

    DN Van Lines Inc
I hired DN Van Lines to help me move from Boston to Washington DC (in 95+ degree weather!!)- it was flawless! I've heard so many horror stories but this move couldn't have been any better. The movers were very experienced - they knew exactly how to properly wrap my items (NOTHING got damaged!) and came prepared with tools to disassemble and later assemble my furniture. They had all of the right equipment. I really didn't have to do anything! I was promised that my items would be shipped alone, without combining with any other shipment, and they kept their word. I had the same wonderful crew (Lou, Bill and Jose) at origin and destination. In addition to performing a flawless move, the men were NICE, KIND, POSITIVE throughout the move both days. Despite the walk up at my origin, and it being 95 degrees and humid, the guys were very friendly and positive throughout.

    Oscar's Moving Co

Very disappointed.  Numerous attempts made to obtain total price, but additional costs were buried in "Special Conditions" and were not contained in Oscar's estimated price.

Workers used more supplies (tape, etc) than necessary.

Also, we discovered several significant scratches in the center/face of our cherry entertainment center furniture after the workers departed.

    NES Movers
Called Nick as his company has moved me out a few apartments.  We scheduled a four man crew to come to my home move half the stuff into storage pods and the other half to a temporary apartment while my house is being built.  The crew was on time and professional.  They were experienced and worked very hard the entire day.  I will use them to move into my new home when it is ready.  My only feedback is that the have no signage on the trucks or employees.  Apparently this company offers storage services.  If I knew that sooner I wouldn't have rented pods.

    TLC Moving & Storage
They arrived exactly on time, or in the most recent move, called us and asked if they could arrive 1/2 day early.  Delivery in both cases was about 1 day ahead of schedule, about 3 days altogether from Florida to Massachusetts.  After two moves with them I have had exactly zero damage, none.  They are very careful and professional.  The price in both cases was exactly what we agree upon up front.  They are also very pleasant to deal with.
Moving is stressful and you feel very dependent upon the movers.  These people are just super.

Father And Son Moving & Storage Inc
They misquoted us by $3,000.00, so they "appeared cheap" in the begining, held our stuff hostage in the truck till we paid in cash, lied about hours they worked loading and unloading, didn't show up on time or bring wardrobe boxes, broke and tree, and ran over where our septic system was. It was a HUGE scam and they should be put out of buisness!

    Statewide Moving & Storage Co
After interviewing several different moving companies, we chose Statewide. Right out of the gate, they were honest and accommodating. There were no hidden fees and they guaranteed that our move would not exceed the quoted price. The quote was highly competitive and the service that we received was exceptional. We also liked that they are a local family-run business. Statewide was punctual, careful with our furnishings, and their professionalism and sense of humor made the move so much more tolerable. Moving is just not fun, but Statewide went out of their way to make sure that our move was as smooth and efficient as possible. A+!!

This company was overpriced compared to my previous experience with other moving companies. They courteously called ahead to report that they were stuck in traffic and would arrive late. When they arrived I worked alongside them moving boxes and furniture and was extremely disappointed in the work ethic of the two movers. The team leader who was loading the pods was reasonably efficient and all three of them were polite, but the two workers spent as much time on breaks as they spent working. The leader loading the pods repeatedly asked them to bring large boxes and furniture, but the workers kept bringing small items and taking breaks, and avoided bringing the large items as requested until the very end. Due to the frequent breaks of the workers, our estimated three hour move turned into nearly double that amount of time. This was significantly slower than other moving companies I have worked with. It is worth noting that we spent six hours only loading storage pods, not completing a one-way move. Every box was pre-packed and furniture that could be broken down, like beds, was done before the movers arrived. Before signing the form I called the company's office to express my dissatisfaction. The office worker reduced the hourly rate by ten dollars, amounting to a savings of about $70 on a bill that totaled $763.

    Precision Moving Co
This is the second time we used Precision Moving. The first time involved moving us from a fourth floor walkup in downtown Boston. The members of the first crew were troopers! This time around went even smoother. They arrived on time, took a nice survey of what needed to be moved and got to work quick. They easily dealt with pretty busy road, about 20 stairs to the front door, and a couple of tight corners. Once at the new house, they did a nice walkthrough to learn where the different pieces of big furniture would be placed, and then did their best to make sure every labelled box was placed in the appropriate room. If they didn't know where something went, they mostly asked. It was nearly a dream move. Nice things about Precision Moving include the fact their prices are clearly stated on their web page; You talk to the very nice owner to arrange your move; and they accept credit cards. Lots of movers we called for the first move would only accept cash which always feels a little shady plus it leaves you running around with a wad of cash on move day. We did tip in cash though.

    RARE Moving & Storage
The movers quoted a very competitive amount for a small move of 3 pieces of furniture. They arrived promptly at the time promised, were careful in preparing the furniture to move and quickly packed them into the truck. We met them at the second address ... they were barely 15 minutes behind us. They were knowledgeable about moving heavy furniture up steep, windy stairs and placed the furniture as requested in the room. I would definitely use this mover again and refer them to friends.
