I went to Majors RV because I knew someone who worked there. I had asked for a fluid service, to fix a slow leak in my right rear tire and to fix the problem in the tranny that was causing the service light to come on. I get the RV back. The leak is not fixed and they were unable to fix it. I showed the mechanic the Allison manual that shows the code it was giving meant the Throttle position sensor had an issue. They said the checked it, and redid the end of the electrical connectors on the engine and tranny TPS modules. It did not fix the problem but I was changed for diagnostic time for a problem they could not fix.
I too it to Ira Truck repair in Easton MA. They found the issue very quickly. It was a loose wire on the TPS. Either Majors RV mechanic was incompetent or they are a liar. They changed me for redoing the TPS connectors. The slow leak still exists. I called the service manager at Majors RV when I got my RV back from Ira. I explained that they charged me for repairing the same connector the the Ira mechanic had to redo. He said nothing except his mechanics time was worth something for the diagnostic. They didn't fix it and I am sure didn't even touch it. The Ira mechanic found it pretty quickly. Majors told me to bring the RV back and they would fix the slow leak. That means I have to take a day off work, have someone follow me down and ride me home, then  I have to take another day off work, have someone drive me there to pick it up.
How about doing the job right the first time!!!
    Steer clear of Major RV

Had a part installed in my car broke down on xway 2 kids and wife in high speed lane
State police ordered tow. Went to an honest shop in hanover was told that the part installed was original.
mechanic ran part number through his computer and the part id matched the vin number original.
Total denied it wanted the part back and replaced it. i had the hanover shop put it in for 100 should have sued.
If you must go there use your AMEX never pay cash.

David Robertson has been my automotive specialist since 2000. I have 2 sons, a boyfriend and a mother who also go to Robertson's Auto Service. I started out with a 1994 Ford Thunderbird, then a 1999 Dodge Durango and now my 2007 Infiniti FX35. My sons: a 1986 Chevy Camaro, 2004 Dodge Dakota and 2002 Lincoln LS. My mother: a Mercury Sable and Chevy Trailblazer. My boyfriend: a Jeep Cherokee. I only mention these to illustrate not only the number of our vehicles David has taken care of but also the obvious repeat business. We have had, collectively, replacements of one engine, water pumps, radiators, brakes, tires, exhaust systems and catalytic converters, radiators flushed, varieties of gaskets redone, oil leaks plugged, spark plugs changed, batteries installed and countless oil changes. When I met David, I was a single mother with 2 young boys. I had just moved to North Attleboro and didn't know squat about car repairs when the engine in my Thunderbird quit. It would have been very easy for a mechanic to take advantage of the situation. David took care of me and I will never forget that. What he told me at the time was that he always goes into a job with the mindset of "What would I do if this were my and gt;insert family member hereand lt;'s car?" His prices are ridiculously fair and reasonable. He never "pads" a bill. Actually, he seems more upset when a job ends up being an expensive one (rightfully so) than I do. He never does anything without calling me first and I always say the exact same thing when he does..."I trust you David, do what you gotta do". I am always happy with the work he does. In fact, I actually feel safer driving after he has worked on one of our vehicles. When the garage that David was working for moved back in 2007 - they went through a transition during which they were shut down. When they reopened, David no longer worked there. I found out it was because he was opening his own shop and I HUNTED HIM DOWN LIKE A DOG!!! THAT'S HOW GOOD HE IS!! As long as he is in business I will NEVER go anywhere else.

The salesman was excellent. He saved me a lot of time. However, when I signed, I was told that I could use the repair contract anywhere. When I went back to them for clarifications, they started making stories. I wasn’t really happy with that contract.

I called to schedule an appointment for work to be done on my car. They had an opening the next day which was nice. I brought my car in and described the problems to the person at the service desk. I was pleasantly surprised when they took the car for a test drive with me in it. I was able to point out the various noises my car was making and was confident that they understood the issues. They had a courtesy shuttle that brought me to work and would have picked me up again if I needed it. After checking out the car they called me with a quote on what it would cost to repair all the issues and perform the requested services. The only real negative I have about the whole experience is the price, the service was very good. Later that day I got a call that my car was ready. They explained all the work that was done and that some extra repairs were needed. They discovered some additional issues after giving me the quote. The really nice thing is that they didn't charge me for the extra repairs that were needed. All in all, I'm happy with the work that was done. Even though they didn't charge for the extra repairs that were needed I still think the price was a little high.
