    Stairhopper Movers
Stairhopper movers were great! They expertly packed all of our belongings into one 16' pod, much better than we could have done ourselves. They were very attentive and made sure to wrap and protect all important pieces, above and beyond what we expected. They arrived on time and while it took longer than i imagined it would (5 hours), the price seems totally fair for the service. Highly recommend them for any type of move in the area!

    Belmont TV Repair
He was very professional and friendly. Also extremely knowledgeable in circuitry since he was engineer by training. He gave me two options: either to buy a brand new power board or he can try to replace and repair parts that were only damaged. Of course I chose option 2, and he was successful in restoring my television. He saved me money from having to buy a new power board. Thank you very much!

    Nick's Moving Co
The movers were excellent; however, Nick the owner was awful! He lied every step of the way and took full advantage of my son's situation, who had a sudden illness that left him in the hospital with limited funds. Nick way over-charged, took my son's last nickel out of his bank account without his permission, and brought all the items to a dirty shipping container, which he lied and said was a 2-unit storage facility. He would charge a minimum of $50 if my son wanted to remove an item as long as an appointment was made first and it was only done once or twice a year. Nick Lawrence is a very unethical, lying, heartless individual who has an F rating with BBB. He is NOT an accredited business. He unlawfully is posting is BBB logo on his website.

    Escala Construction & Remodeling Corp
We are extremely pleased with the work. We are a small self-managed condo association that hired Escala Construction to complete a number of projects, several of which were city mandated. Ivaldo did an outstanding job of managing the requirements and oversight of the city as well as the special requirements of our condo association to obtain detailed documentation of the work and to follow specific payment plans. He provided references and estimates beforehand, timely and open communication in regards to any new findings or possible solutions during the work, and cleaned spaces afterward. Ivaldo was excellent about providing the longest lasting, highest quality solutions that fit our budget.

    New England Surveillance Specialists Inc.
I spoke to Brian, explained my needs, and he explained that he was NOT the right person for the job I was looking for .... and why. I really appreciated that sort of professionalism. It shows good strength of character.

    Mr Hoop
I spoke with the owner, Eric Elofson, on the phone and discussed the hoop I wanted (they offer several options on the website). We agreed on the hoop, and I sent in the money for the hoop. After a bit of nagging, the hoop was delivered and set up in the proper location. This is when things started to go poorly. Within a week, a piece of the rim (that holds the net in place) broke off. I contacted Mr. Elofson - it took many, many calls and emails, but eventually he responded and agreed to replace the rim. That was about two years ago. Since that time, I have repeatedly (more than 10 times) attempted to contact Mr. Elofson - on the rare occasion that he answers his phone or email, he has agreed to repair the rim (he even went so far as to ask the model number of the hoop one time). However, he still has not done so. I don't want my money back, I want the rim repaired!

    SIRACO SHARPENING SERVICE
    The blades could not have been sharpened any better with a cost-effective approach as noted below: 1. 5 Knives x $4.50/knife = $22.50 2. 2 Serrated knives x $6.00/knife = $12.00 3. 1 Lopping Shear x $10.00 = #10.00 4. 1 Hedge Shear x $10.00 = $10.00 5. 6 Pruning Shear x $8.00/shear = $48.00 6. 1 Electric Shear x $10.00/Shear = $10.00 7. 4 Scissors x $7.00/scissor = $28.00 Total: ~ $141 I am very happy with the service the Siraco brothers provided. I been back a second time and I plan to bring my tow, very dull, lawn mower blades for sharpening. I highly recommend Siraco Sharpening. Location is easy to find in Sommerville. I drove from Bedford to 61 Albion Street office..., used GPS..., took me 20 - 25 minutes.

    Joseph Downey Small Job Specialist
Joe Downey has saved me from many headaches! He is incrediblytalented and can fix anything, is reliable and only does thehighest quality work. Additionally, Joe is a great communicator and makes sureto provide me with accurate estimates about how long projects will take andcost, answers my (too) many questions, and updates me along the way. He hashandled everything for me from small painting projects to gutting an entirebathroom ? I call him for every project, regardless of the size.

Joe is a true professional. He doesn?t waste my time ormoney, which I always appreciate. He leaves my home cleaner than he found it,
which I am always grateful for.

    ALLEN ENTERPRISES
My heating system went out overnight due to the extreme cold and, when I was unable to restart the system, I telephoned Allen Plumbing to see if they could make a service call.  Luckily, I was finally able to get the system restarted on my own. However, just as I was about to call them back to let them know that I didn't need their services, a gentleman from Allen Plumbing returned my original call.  His call came within a half hour of my original voicemail message.  Given their responsiveness, I will definitely use them in the future for plumbing work.

    Direct TV

THE INSTALL OF A DIRECT TV DISH CEMENTED IN MY BACK YARD AFTER MY TENANT LEAVES TENANCY IS NOT

    SOMETHING ANY LANDLORD WANTS.

B  E  W   A  R  E .......  ESPECIALLY DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO PLACE THIS ON YOUR ROOF AS IT WILL BE THERE

    ETERNALLY.

I NOW HAVE A CEMETED POLE IN MY BACK YARD AND THEY WILL NOT REMOVE IT,  THEY WILL NOT REMOVE IT BECAUSE THEY TELL ME THAT IT IS THE PROPERTY OF MY TENANT.  THE EQUIPMENT SAYS DIRECT TV AND THEY ARE TELLING ME THAT IT IS OWNED BY MY TENANT WHO DOES NOT RESIDENT AT MY PROPERTY ANY LONGER..

DO NOT ALLOW YOUR TENANTS TO USE THESE SERVICES UNLESS YOU WANT THEIR EQUIPMENT FOREVER.

I HAVE A HORRIBLE DISH CEMENTED ON MY GROUNDS AND WILL BE TAKING STEPS IN THE COURTS THAT IT BE REMOVED. IF I AM ABLE TO CHARGE THEM STORAGE CHARGES, I WILL. NOT SURE WHAT CONTRACT THEY HAD WITH MY TENANT BUT I DID NOT AGREE TO HAVE THEIR EQUIPMENT PERMANENTLY AFFIXED TO MY PROPERTY

    EVEN AFTER THER SERVICES END.

HAVE A HORRIBLE DIRECT TV DISH STICKING OUT IN THE BACK OF MY YARD AND DIRECT TV DOES NOT HAVE THE

PROFESSIONALISM AS EVERY OTHER CABLE COMPANY HAS TO COME AND REMOVE THER EQUIPMENT.  I WILL

REPORT THIS TO THE ATTORNEY GENERAL.
