    Stairhopper Movers
Stairhopper movers were great! They expertly packed all of our belongings into one 16' pod, much better than we could have done ourselves. They were very attentive and made sure to wrap and protect all important pieces, above and beyond what we expected. They arrived on time and while it took longer than i imagined it would (5 hours), the price seems totally fair for the service. Highly recommend them for any type of move in the area!

    Stairhopper Movers
I hired Stairhopper to move the furniture from 3rd floor attic bedrooms to a first-floor unit (the attic is being remodeled). I have used them before. We had to transfer furniture and goods down narrow twisting flights of stairs (old house) into a 1st floor apartment that was already furnished. It was a tight squeeze everywhere, requiring skill and agility. The two guys did a super job: they are smart, energetic, courteous, professional, reasonably-priced, and fast. It happened faster than I could have thought possible. As I said, I have used Stairhopper before, and will use them to move back upstairs after the renovation.

    Roadrunner Moving & Storage Inc
These guys have moved me, i think a total of three times and i LOVE them. Theyre fast, on time, accurate, helpful and extremely HUMAN!!!! moving is stressful and they really alleviate a lot of that stress. I have shopped around and it seems there's all sorts of pricing out there and Roadrunner is very fair and reasonable, they make it doable. Can't say enough about them... Professional AND sweethearts

    Precision Moving Co
Very pleased with our experience with Precision Movers. It was very easy to schedule our move. The movers were very efficient, and carefully maneuvered up a challenging set of stairs to our condo. We would definitely use Precision Movers again!

    Intelligent Labor and Moving
We've used Intelligent Labor before, and both times they were great. They were punctual, careful, and efficient. They always asked where we wanted specific items. They also took furniture apart if it couldn't fit down the stairs, and then put it back together.

    Nick's Moving Co
The movers were excellent; however, Nick the owner was awful! He lied every step of the way and took full advantage of my son's situation, who had a sudden illness that left him in the hospital with limited funds. Nick way over-charged, took my son's last nickel out of his bank account without his permission, and brought all the items to a dirty shipping container, which he lied and said was a 2-unit storage facility. He would charge a minimum of $50 if my son wanted to remove an item as long as an appointment was made first and it was only done once or twice a year. Nick Lawrence is a very unethical, lying, heartless individual who has an F rating with BBB. He is NOT an accredited business. He unlawfully is posting is BBB logo on his website.

    Gentle Movers
It was breathtaking example of incompetency from start to finish. The likes of which I have rarely seen. There are so many examples of how it went wrong, which I will detail. But the prime example was that it took 1 hour for them to move 1 regular sized table (41 inches longs/30 inches wide) out of the house. They tried by taking out a door and then they ended up by disassembling the table. That table had been moved from one floor to another on 2 occasions, and they couldn't even get it out of the room without breaking it down. They asked me how those movers did it - I thought to myself - "They were professionals". It cost me $169 because they didn't know how to move 1 table. The problems - administratively 1. Misspelled my name, 2. Didn't have the right email. One of the addresses was wrong. And the time agreed upon was wrong. (The credit card number they had right and I was promptly charged). 2. I called when I didn't get the confirmation email. Never told there were forms I needed to sign. I saw the problems on the forms. I crossed out and made the correct changes on the forms, and I also emailed them about the corrections that were needed. 3. They didn't read the forms that I signed. Or the emails. The dispatcher called and I had to make the corrections once again. It took 4 times to get the right time and address. 4. I was not told that I was going to get charge for the time it took for them to get from South Boston to Somerville until the day before the move and I was desperate. The movers -besides the table fiasco: 1. Very poor time management skills. Had to keep going back to the truck to get the items they kept forgetting. At one point I was asked if I had a knife they could use. When we got to my apartment - I had the tool ready when - once again - they were without. 2. One needed to use the restroom - even though they just came from putting gas in the truck. Thank you for taking a break on my time at $169/hour. And then I had to help lead him out the door because he was confused as to where he was. 3. I had to resign forms that I already signed and emailed - if the staff had looked at them - it might have helped. More time suck. 4. Had trouble closing the truck. 5. Wanted to follow me and my sister as they were not sure how to get to where they needed to go. And we lost them within 5 blocks because they couldn't keep up. Because we were speeding at 20 miles an hour. 6. Had to tell them they couldn't both leave the truck if they were determined to keep it open in the middle of downtown Boston with my items in it. So I ended up moving some of the items myself. 7. And of course I will be assembling the table or it would cost me another $169. 3 pieces of furniture - 6.8 miles - $748 dollars. I guess I got off easy. Imagine if I actually booked them to move an entire apartment.

    Move Pro Moving & Storage
We packed everything in boxes so movers did not need to do any extra packing. Movers only had to pack the furniture pieces. Movers were very courteous and professional. Overall, the moving process was good.
