AD & S Partners ConstructionWhen we started looking for a contractor on Angie's List, we were skeptical that we could find someone who could do three things: being within our budget, easy to communicate with and making sure that the final product was of high quality. We had a big project (renovating two bathrooms, renovating a kitchen, taking down a wall, removing wood paneling from multiple rooms, remodeling our basement, including removing asbestos tile from the whole basement, whole house interior painting, remodeling the laundry room, installing new light fixtures everywhere, etc) and Sanfer ended up being the perfect contractor for us. He was so easy to get in touch with and he did a great job keeping us updated on the project as it was coming along (we weren't living there at the time). While the project ended up going over the original budget we set, we also added multiple projects along the way that Sanfer was able to accomplish. The other thing we truly appreciated is that Sanfer has a true eye for quality and was able to ensure everything was exactly to our standards -- the tiling, the painting, even the installation of our new doorknobs. He even brought certain things up to us to help make the home more secure and prevent future damage (putting up stronger supports under our deck, fixing the flashing around the chimney) that he didn't need to do. When a few things needed to be fixed after the renovations were complete, he wasted no time in sending someone out to do the repair. Sanfer was so nice, honest, and enjoyable to work with, things we were not expecting to find in our general contractor but which made the whole renovation experience that much more positive. We would absolutely recommend him and his crew to anyone who is looking for a trustworthy contractor who will do a high-quality job for a fairly reasonable price.- Deborah G.

AAW Puma Construction & Remodeling LLCThis was our first remodel where we replaced everything in our bathroom in our main living space within our condo. We brought four contractors out for bids and found Albert's price to be amongst the most competitive but what we liked was that he was well organized and quick to respond both leading up to signing his proposal but also throughout the project. We are pleased with the finished product and have received many compliments on the bathroom. We would definitely consider hiring Albert again if/when we remodel our other bathroom.- Charles O.

AWe Show UpWe Show Up were great to work with and I would recommend them for any remodeling project. I worked with We Show Up on several projects in my condo: 1) adding sound deadening material and insulation around an HVAC cabinet, 2) finding a noisy pipe in the ceiling, and 3) removing two built-in wall shelves and patching the walls. Alan, Miguel, and Kamal were great: they showed up on time each day, kept me informed as they worked, and answered all of my questions. They were also very careful about wearing masks and observing social distancing. The HVAC insulation and shelf projects turned out great, and the drywall patches came out very smooth and ready for painting. We were unable to find the noisy pipe, but that wasn’t their fault. Overall, I’m very happy with how everything turned out.- Alex S.

APhalan Construction & The HandymanBob Phalan is great. As senior citizens, we can no longer do some of the routine home maintenance jobs around the house. Bob will come by and help us with any job we need done no matter how small. He also recently installed a slider door for us which looks beautiful. His work is meticulous and high quality. AWood Is GoodRich did a number of projects at our home. He fixed some closets, installed light fixtures and garbage disposals, installed curtains, and several other small jobs. AThis is the second time we've had Jeff out to do work for us. He and his assistant Alex installed beautiful custom woodwork in our hallway. There were many technical challenges because we have an older house, but their deep commitment to quality work and fine attention to detail are plainly evident in their excellent job. They also took care to work very neatly, locating all of the sawing and finishing outside the house or offsite. We had an unusual project for them, and Jeff's expertise was essential in bringing it off successfully. Throughout the project, from early discussions to the scheduling the final day, our communication with him was prompt and clear. We are already planning the next series of projects to do with his services. We can't recommend him highly enough.

ASimon and his team were outstanding. This was a difficult project involving a lot of detail work -- Simon was patient and creative throughout. He was prompt in answering our call for help and made his team available within a few weeks of our contacting him. The team was very professional and courteous, and very cooperative in terms of helping us to make sure that we were following Covid-19 protocols during the project. We were very pleased with the outcome and will certainly hire Simon again. Highly recommended!

AKeith came to see the job and gave a written quote by email. A written contract was made. All work was completed except for several treads which needed addtional support work and were stablized but will be completed next year due to budget constraints. Keith and Jimmy were on time and completed the work in a timely manner. They were friendly and knowledgeable. One item was added afterwards and they came back a few weeks later to do it. I recommend them and would hire them again.
