    F Kempes General Contractor
Initial discussions went well, with Fernando quoting the job and then discussing materials as well as communicating clearly the timing of the job. As the job started and progressed, the scope of the job wildly changed due to the condition of the house. He worked closely to keep us informed, texting us pictures and suggesting how the job could be done, while letting us have the call in the end, controlling the costs to our budget's capability. Part of the job included changing the electrical setup, adding recessed lights and switches in the room as well as the closets. This was all handled admirably and completed quickly. Working on an old house showed many little secrets that the house was hiding and needed remedy on. Fernando worked with us to keep the work reasonable while maintaining our budget.

    Handyman Matters of Greater Boston
We have used Handyman Matters three times now. Bob and Michael are extremely professional, responsive, and have a great breadth and depth of knowledge. Most importantly, they have very honest pricing and took special attention to keep doors for our pets. Highly recommend

    O'Sullivan Installs, Inc.
It could not have gone better. The O'Sullivan personnel arrived on time, went right to work on all three doors. The most polite, friendly, and astoundingly efficient folks! They explained what they would do, how they would do it, and along the way show the the progress. This was not the most easiest install I suspect as one of the doors was a massive 40" wide and the frame had to be adjusted to provide the proper height. All the doors were installed, the site cleaned up, tools and trucks buttoned up the same day, even with a bit of leftover time for a photo in the popcorn room! A great bunch of guys to have running around your home!!

    SILMAC Construction Inc.
Silmac provided high quality workmanship at a reasonable price. Not only were the new materials installed with glistening perfection, but an old wooden door with panels was painstakingly sanded and painted so smoothly it looked as crisp and new as the rest! New baseboard moulding in the adjacent room was custom ordered and stained to match the old wood trim as if the room had always been that way. The specialists brought in for plumbing, electrical work and carpentry had clearly been carefully vetted. The drawers and cupboards under the knee-wall are fitted to take full advantage of the space, and faced with paneling that matches the style of this 1920's house. When the plumber saw that the sink was wall-mounted he came back with decorative chrome piping for underneath - something I wouldn't even have known to ask for! Everyone worked hard and cheerfully and communicated with each other as well as with me. Best of all - there were NO DRIPS ANYWHERE - not so much as a smudge, on my wood floors and stairs. It was such a relief working with people who know how to do things well, since I don't always know how to specify good work. Labor and materials came to about $22,000 .

We have a large Victorian house than needed paint and exterior repairs. They did a beautiful job. Karla and her husband Illia are a great team. She is an excellent business manager and he is master carpenter. They run a tight, efficient operation. Their work is top notch. We've used them for several projects in our home including installing a laundry room, new door, and doing some electrical work plus interior painting. They are more expensive but worth every penny, we'd definitely hire them again.

    SILMAC Construction Inc.
After reviewing various contractors, i decided to go with Joe. Joe gave me fair warning that this was going to be a stressful project. The project had taken much longer than i was quoted and when you are living in the house without any facilities, the stress level rises pretty fast! We ran into a few snags which required me to step in and resolve. Work was being held up due to HVAC problem and Joe was unable to provide a sub-contractor, so i had to go out and find my own contractor for that portion of the job in order to keep things moving. The job was started in mid April and finally completed mid September. Communication is very important and more importantly attention to details is a must! I have to say the end result made me very happy and i'm so glad to have a bathroom i can enjoy. I really do like Joe and would recommend him however, i felt the job could have been completed sooner had he paid closer attention to my needs and that is why i gave him a B rating.

    SILMAC Construction Inc.
Out of the three contractor quotes we got, Silmac was the only one who quoted just labor and then said they'd submit receipts for all materials (all bought from Home Depot). Really liked the transparency of costs for all materials. This also meant I could also occasionally source a specific item myself and just hand it to them to install. This was my first serious project working with a contractor, and I can say that Silmac made the process great. The company owner was helpful throughout the project, and the on-site project manager was easy to work with. Over the course of the project, we quickly learned to trust the project manager's decisions. This was particularly important as both our kitchen plans were a little light on the final details, and sometimes things were "discovered" along the way that required a quick decision to keep the project on track. The sub-contracted workers (plumbing, electrical, drywall installation, tiling, etc.) were all good. When there were minor issues with the work, Silmac took care of us fairly and ensured we were satisfied. Overall quality of the work was good. Going back to trusting them and their judgement, there were several parts of the project where Silmac actually suggested some things that were not originally in our plans which were great (specifically the computer nook and how to take advantage of additional space in a way we hadn't thought about). I really liked how their suggestions were always helpful, and every time I went along with their idea I was glad I did! I'm writing this review just over 6 months after the work was completed, and can confidently say we continue to be pleased. We would definitely recommend this contractor.

    Innovative Contracting Services Inc
I originally chose ICS for two reasons. One was that they seemed like the best option - out of the two Elite Preferred Hardie providers in the area they came across more down to business and the reviews were all great. The other was that out of the two Elite Preferred vendors they did far more jobs in the Camberville area so seemed more likely to be able to handle the quirks old houses in cramped spaces will cause. I also appreciated how they provided a huge list of previous jobs as part of their pitch, not only did it seal us on going with them but it helped us refine things like siding color by seeing live examples in a city-ish environment. Their workers were efficient, pleasant, and kept the site clean. We couldn't be happier with our decision. I went in believing they were likely the best option in the area but now I'm sure of it. Comparing the quality of their work to some of the other Hardie buildings in my neighborhood it's clear that they pay a lot more attention to detail, and I'm glad for that. Even when issues would pop up, if it wasn't just a misunderstanding on my part (which it usually was), they took care of them quickly and with no BS - nothing is ever perfect but they try to get there. I was appreciative of how they always took the time to respond to my questions in a timely manner and explain what was going on. They never pushed back when I asked to add on stuff mid-flight, which I did a few times. At the end of the day they transformed our fairly dumpy mid-1860s era house into one which is already getting compliments from the neighbors as being the nicest looking place around. Thanks!

    Golden Hammer Remodeling
Sebastian was great! This was our second job with him 18 months later. He does good quality work and is transparent about the cost of materials he installs. He is diligent, responsive, and has integrity. I will continue to hire him for jobs I need.

    Joseph Downey Small Job Specialist
He is fast, complete, accurate and knowledgeable about whatever he tackles. That's probably because of the years of experience he has doing repairs. He also cleans up the area after himself and doesn't leave a mess behind. He is very reliable and he will be back here on Thursday after my Sear's repairman rebuilds my washing machine and I need Joe to reconnect my dishwasher. He had unconnected the dishwasher for the repairman to be able to have room to work on my washing machine. I highly recommend him.
