Chris did an outstanding job remodeling our bathroom. It was an old, small bathroom last remodeled in the late 1970's and in much need of updating and repair. He first gutted the old bathroom down to the studs, removed an old shower stall, removed the toilet, vanity, and mirror, and floor tiles. He re-built the room in a just two weeks, from start to finish. Chris went shopping with me to several local stores and helped me pick out paint colors, the vanity, the new floor tiles, and more. His taste is excellent. He recreated the shower by installing beautiful white tiles with a nice colored strip horizontally across the middle. The result was a very high end, clean, stylish look - the nicest bathroom I had seen, similar to the type you'd see in 5 star hotels. Throughout the whole process, he was great at communicating and quick at responding to our questions. He and his associates were true professionals - very friendly and committed to doing a great job. And the project was stress-free on our end. His work exceeded our expectations and we are impressed and pleased with the end result. We would highly recommend Chris to other potential customers, and we hope to hire him and his company for future projects.

It was wonderful working with Jason and his crew on our Master Bathroom remodel. He was always prompt and courteous and had great suggestions for us while we were planning out the project. The bathroom is simply beautiful and can't say enough about the quality of work. Very happy customer!

Superbly!! The contractor, my wife and I worked as a team from the start of the project. My wife and I provided the design and statement of work for VC C. We researchded/supplied all materials for VCC. The contractor was extremely well organized. He::: made suggestions to fine tune the plan...laid out the steps of the process...provided contacts for materials purchases ...gave us the names of electrical, plumbing, flooring third parties we could evaluate for project work... performed demolition, preparation, carpentry, painting, stairway/cabinet installation, tile (floor/backsplash) installation...managed subcontractors and finished the project on time In a nut shell he was an excellent listener, a direct communicator of ideas and suggestions, and an experieced, multi- talented ethical professional.

I paid them an additional $650 for new baseboards to be installed and I had then install some new sliding doors as well. The work done on my tile floors was great but my issues are with the baseboards and the doors. They used a sub-contractor for the baseboards and the boards were not cut correctly. They were cut at a 90 degree angle instead of a 45 degree angle and were not installed properly. The doors were installed crooked and I have to use another contractor to fix them. After going back and forth for two weeks the owner said that they would either pull up the boards or pay me $80 to leave them. My main issue is that the owner first didn't believe me until I showed him pictures of the baseboards and then he changed his tune and said that the sub-contractor cut corners and was no longer working with them. I have had to hire another company to do the work on the doors and the baseboards.

Michael Dangredo, owner of Finishing Touch Hardwood Flooring and Remodeling, performed excellent work at our house.  About 15 years ago, he installed red oak hardwood flooring in our kitchen.  To this day it still looks brand new and we still get  compliments about it!  Several weeks ago, Michael returned to install oak flooring in adjacent rooms and the main stairway.  It looks beautiful!  We are completely happy with our new floors!

Michael is a true craftsman because he is highly skilled and greatly cares about the quality of his work. It is flawless!  We highly recommend him!  Aside from his great work, Michael is friendly and accommodating.

We discussed the job and then I had a few weeks to start gathering the materials.  I had to make all the choices about the tile, the design. I purchased the fixtures, tile, toilet, counter top and shower doors.  Steve helped me find some of the stores but I was in charge of making sure the items were ready when they were.  Then over the course of 6 weeks they gutted and then refitted everything into the space.  it looks great.

From the moment I started communicating with Mr. Handyman of Central MA, my phone calls and questions were answered promptly.  Plus, there was a short waiting period from the time I ordered the service and when the service was done.
The services, limitations, and initial costs were explained clearly and in-detail before I committed to hire their services, sent via Email, as well as, provided by the contractor when he arrived to do the work.
The contractor arrived on-time.  The grounds were wet.  He entered my home with covers on his shoes so he wouldn't dirty the flooring.  Once in the house, he changed to a dry pair of shoes.
He was very friendly and analyzed all possibilities on how to complete the work, and suggested best quality and less costly ways on how the work can be done, and he left it up to me to decide whether I wanted to choose the right way or quick way.  He was also very considerate of my property when doing the work.
The repair work and door installation shows that the contractor was an expert craftsman. He did not take short-cuts. The finished work of the replacement bi-fold doors was done better than the original work he replaced.

The lesson learned here for us is to always do your homework.
We hired Cassa to cut and install granite countertops in our kitchen as well as install new porcelain tile for the floor and backsplash. The initial experience with the designer/project manager was pretty good.  She helped us choose colors and styles that matched our needs.
The project started on time as scheduled.  The countertops were installed and looked good and the floor was installed and looked very nice.  The big problems came up when we tried to put the appliances back in.
Apparently the team working on our kitchen didn't bother measuring the height of the floor to the countertop (which we have now learned is typically 36 inches) and didn't know anything about standard heights for appliances such as stoves, even though they are supposed to be professional kitchen renovators.  The result was a countertop that was about a full inch lower than it should have been.  Our slide-in range was too high for the countertops at it's minimum height of 35 7/8 inches.  This means that it would not sit flush with the counters as it's designed to do.   The team also tiled under the dishwasher even though we had told them on several occasions that we didn't want them to because we feared that the dishwasher wouldn't fit.   Luckily my wife was watching as the installer started placing tiles where the dishwasher would go. She stopped him just in time for him to remove the tiles, but he left the mortar which eventually dried leaving a bumpy mess where the dishwasher would go.  Now my dishwasher doesn't fit either.
It's important to note that as part of talking with the designer up front, we were instructed to buy our appliances beforehand so that when the measurements were done, ALL OF THE APPLIANCES WOULD STILL FIT.
We got in touch with the designer and project manager to tell them what happened and at first they basically told us "not our problem". Eventually they sent someone out (their "clean-up guy") who immediately realized that the floor-to-countertop height was wrong.  Short of tearing up the newly installed countertops, there weren't many options.  I was sick to my stomach that I had paid over 10K for work of such low quality and Cassa didn't have the sense of urgency that I would have expected for such a colossal screw-up.
They also did the backsplash tiling incorrectly making it impossible to put any of the kitchen outlet covers back on. The door to my basement no longer fit.
To make this mess go away,we ended up compromising just to get the darn thing finished and move on with our lives.   In the end, they did resolve the list of issues that we gave them.  The countertop being installed at a non-standard height is a real bummer, though.  They added granite trim pieces around the stove so that the slide-in could be flush.  Those trim pieces will be a constant reminder that we hired the wrong company to renovate our kitchen.
We had to call them back several times to fix areas where grout was missed.
I would never suggest Cassa to anyone doing a sizable project.  There's little to no communication between team members and they charge way too much for the poor quality craftsmanship that we received.
    Very disappointed.

Flooring America was very profession from the moment we walked into the show room, until the time our floors were complete.  Estimates were accurate, dates of service for measurement and work were completed on time the demolition was noisy (as it should be when busting up tile), but the household wasn't disturbed for long (everything was sealed off as to keep other areas of the house clean/debris free), laying the tile was efficient and precise (they marked the tiles we could walk on while in process so we could still stay at the house during the process), and the competed project is beautiful!

We did use them and they are excellent. They came on time, did a wonderful job and finished the job nicely and cleaned up after themselves. They were very professional, it was a hard floor to do. They did a great job. I will definitely use them again. We have some work we want to do in our kitchen. They took the time to figure out how to put the tile down in my pattern, I was kind of indecisive and they were very efficient in helping me with that. They actually brought the tile ahead of time and showed me the different patterns that I could do on the floor. They came out ahead a few times and they also did the threshold between the wood floor and the tile and you wouldn't know anything, they did a nice job matching everything. I'm happy, I was very pleased.
