    Robert was unbelievably rude. We called told them what was wrong with our samsung fridge Robert came out opened the doors and then asked us what side wasnt working, oh i dont know since the fridge is registering at 60 degrees probably the fridge then shuts the door writes something then says we will need to order parts. My elderly father asks him why he didnt have the parts already since we already told him what was wrong with the fridge and he didnt have to take it apart to figure it out just looked at it and confirmed the temp. Well Roberts response was ridiculous he started saying he doesnt have to deal with this, deal with what so i chimed in i said sir hes simply asking you a question you knew in advance what was wrong why didnt you bring parts? He then turns around starts walking out the door saying he doesnt have time for this, he doesnt have to deal with this, with what,questions isnt that your job. I will never use them and never recommend them to anyone. Home depot said hes had bad reviews lately and is refusing to service the fridge which is fine because we dont want that man in our home again, but hes refusing why because he got called out on his attitude because he was too bothered to answer a simple question of why he didnt have the parts and when they would be here and we would have a working fridge again. I even told him if he was having a bad day maybe he shouldnt have come to work today. Hes a service man thats his job to let us know when we ask a question about parts and time frame.. worst company i have ever had to deal with as well as the worst company my father has had to deal with in his 70years on earth.

    Lucas is very professional and pleasant. I called his phone number on a Saturday afternoon, and his greeting said that he preferred to communicate by text. I texted him about my issue, and he replied right back that he would get back to me. While he didn't do so on Saturday, I texted again on Sunday, asking if he could come on Monday. We arranged a time, he arrived within the window he provided and immediately got to work. He was diligent and even vacuumed up the excess lint around our dryer. Lastly, he provided great advice about our drying system and checked our external vent to see if there were any lint issues. I would highlight recommend him to others, and would hire him again.

    The service was good. The guy who showed up, did a good job, tried his best to set it up the way I wanted and was courteous. But the dispatcher was rude and demeaning. I would hire them again if I didn't have to deal with the dispatcher.

    James is excellent! When I first called, he spent time on the phone with me trying to diagnose the problem I was having with the burner. Jamie was professional, responsive and friendly to talk to and gave honest opinion about the issue. I now know who to call when I have a problem with appliance.

    We are very happy with the service from Chaves Heating and Air Conditioning.  The last Heating repair company we used was "encouraging" us to replace the Heating unit as they stated it was on it's way out.    I was skeptical so when the heater would not cycle on during the bitter cold spell, I used Angie's list to find Chaves Heating and Air conditioning.  We places a request for assistance online via their website, received a call less then an hour later and they arrived that afternoon promptly on time.   The technition was very professional and had the issue identified and fixed with 45 minutes at a reasonable rate with no attempt at all of selling additional unneeded services.  This is a company with integrity and we will be calling them in the future.

    He was very good.  He was a nice guy.  He came when he said he was going to come.  He did what he said he was going to do.  He did not over charge me.  I was happy with the service.  

    I really don’t have complains about the price but I wish it could have been cheaper.  It was a fair price.

    He is great!  Traveled in rush hour traffic over 2 hours to help us since our fridge had been out 2 WEEKS and we were getting the run around from another provider.  He rush ordered a part then made us a priority for when it arrived.  He was very knowledgeable.

    My gas oven was making a terrible, high-pitched whistling sound each time I turned on the oven.  The sound continued until the selected temp was reached and then each time the oven kicked on to maintain it.  (This was very h****** my dog!)  National Grid was called and determined that it wasn't a gas leak.  The National Grid person service person had never heard the sound before.
    I called Brian and had the good fortune he could come over fairly quickly the same day.  He had never heard this sound before either. After spending some time gently moving the oven away from the wall, removing the bottom drawer and vacuuming under the oven,  Brian methodically tried and tested various things to rule out the source of the problem.  He finally determined the source was an extremely small part with a very small imperfection.  He cleaned off the part and re-installed it.  He tested the fix a number of ways to ensure the oven remained noiseless. He also made note of the part number so he can get it for me should the noise return.
    I'm very grateful to have been able to get Brian's time so quickly.   He could have sold me additional parts I didn't need.  His work ethic sets him apart from many others and I'm delighted to have found him.   I will HIGHLY recommend Brian to all my friends and will get in touch with him again when appliances, etc. need his expertise.

    Jim was very good to work with and he was always on time.  He diagnosed the problem with the stove and had to order a part, and assured me that the stove was fine until he could install it (it's been really hot and I haven't been using it that much anyway but his assurance was well taken nonetheless).  The part was installed about two weeks after he initially came over and that was fine with me (he took a long July 4th holiday - we all need vacations).  When he came to install the stove component, I asked him if he could take a look at the dishwasher door that wasn't opening/closing smoothly and fixed that with no problem.

    Had identical experience to review dated March 26, 2012. Have used company for two years, since purchasing home, and only issue is with the pricing methodology.
    Technician came out for annual preventative maintenance. Technician was very professional. A/C unit had been working fine. Technician checked outdoor fan unit, and showed me that wiring had corroded and had detached from capacitor--needed new capacitor and wiring (at this point, A/C no longer operational). Technician needed to "put together pricing" to discuss options.

    No problem with anything at all up to this point.
    After talking to home office for approximately 20 minutes, technician presented me with a list of options. Options are presented on a scale from "Platinum" option, which consisted of replacing entire system (6k-10k, I believe), down to my "Bronze" option, which was simply to get the system operational again at $500. "Gold" and "silver" options included chemical cleaning and start-up capacitor, I believe.  I've experienced this before with other service providers, and I have to admit that I have a particularly bad reaction to this kind of approach--it always makes me think the technician has an incentive to upsell services, and the color-coding scale is used to confuse what the cost relates to. It may not bother others, though.
    Service performed and A/C running fine. Again, only issue I have has to do with the pricing. It's enough (for me), though, that I would not use them again.
