My 4 y/o daughter has been attending Little Tots for a little over a year now and she's made a lot of nice friends. She really enjoys her teachers, whom she calls by first name. They've taught her a lot from shapes and colors to ABC's and 123's. Currently she's working on writing her name and doing great with it! She's never had a complaint. They take naps also, which is a good thing if your child is still taking naps. I believe they have to nap. If they can't fall asleep that's fine but they have to be quiet and still. Which bothers me sometimes. They make her put the blanket over her head too which also bothers me. Otherwise, they have sufficient things to do including a texture table, arts and crafts, a computer, outdoor water play, trikes and scooters and a jungle gym etc. Also the place is very homey, not a "professional setting", which I think is better for the children to be more comfortable. I've never heard a complaint on the food, which they serve breakfast til 9am, lunch and an afternoon snack. The transportation is a van driven by a lady named Lisa who is very nice and good with the children and she teaches them how to buckle themselves up and she uses appropriate car seats for all ages at all times and is pretty good at being on time in the morning and the afternoon. But you also have the choice to drop-off and pick-up your own child (obviously). I would recommend this place to my own friends and family.

Our 12 week old breastfed baby went to Vickie Kimber for daycare. On day 2, she claimed that he wanted to eat every 1 1/2 hours and was excessively hungry. At one of his bottles she decided to feed him double his normal bottle so that he wasn't hungry anymore. This resulted in the baby having an upset belly and being increadibly uncomfortable.  She never consulted the parents for confirmation if this was an acceptable change to his diet. Upon picking him up she stated that he should not be exclusively breastfed anymore as he is too hungry and should have formula or cereal. The mother advised her that that was not an option. In addition, she requested that he not be allowed to sleep all day but that he play and be entertained. Vickie claimed that 12 week old babies don't play and should be sleeping all day. This 12 week old spends most of the day awake, plays for hours on end, and eats every 2-2 1/2 hours when he is not bored. Vickie flat out refused to adhere to the parents requests for the childs care, and it seems as though she expected that she was going to be able to feed the baby once or twice a day and let him sleep the rest of the time.  Vickie also minimized the parents knowledge of the child and their requests as they are "first time parents" and "don't know anything". It appears as though she looked at this tiny human being who is unable to care for himself as a chance to make money and intentionally put him in harms way. As a woman who has been in daycare for 31 years you would expect that she would be better equipped to provide the love, attention and care that an infant needs. I would not recommend using her for your infant.
