The three people worked very efficiently and got the job done fast. Clean up of brush was less than anticipated but they cut lengths of logs for us to keep for fireplace burning. Very easy to work with.

    The Tree Doctor Inc
came home to find more trees removed than wanted, damage to a smaller tree, caused by a tree falling on it.   The top to one of our pine trees was cut off.  more than needed damage to our yard than called for...holes from trees falling and deep ruts in the lawn from trees being dragged.  I did want to note on the estimate he claims not to be held responsible for this damages.  We also needed to pick up the crew garbage--left in the yard--(water bottles).  When my husband called MR. COELHO, OWNER. he admitted he was no on the site for the job, nor did he come out or want to come out after to review the complaint.  He did a lot of talking (not listening, on how he felt there was a mis-undertanding on my husband's part on what he was going to do.   Hummm!!! so it was my husband's fault...my husband was very clear on what we wanted done,   It appears THE CONFUSION  was in relaying the work orders to his now caring crew.
MR COELHO AGREED to make it right and come out an plant a tree to replace the two he was not to remove.   When we did not hear back from him..i called...it appeared he had no intention to "MAKE IT RIGHT"..HE ALSO SPOKE DOWN TO ME and would not let me talk..when he was done explaining my husband's miss-understand and I finally  got a chase to say something.  The call was ended --on MR COELHO END.   I did call back and asked him to explain where the top of my pine tree is...the damage to the smaller tree and where the stumps to my trees he suggusted he leave for decorated pottery.

    J & T Tree Care

We needed to have this extremely large silver maple tree removed because it was showing signs of significant decline as well as insect damage.  Additionally, we were having a new, larger yard shed being delivered within a month and needed to clear additional space for the larger building..  Josh (the company owner) told us he should be able do the job well before the shed was due to be delivered and with exception of a one week delay (due to a death in the family of one of his key crew members - totally understandable!), he came through on his word.

We had received quotes from  5 companies, both large and small, with 3 of those companies quoting lower than J & T.  We ultimately decided to go with J & T  because of the measures they would take to assure the safety of our home and property and also the safety of their crew members.

The one difference between J & T and the other companies we had consulted, was that when they cut a tree limb, they use a crane to lower the limb to the ground vs. just cutting it and letting it drop, thus causing a lot of deep gouges and ruts in the surrounding soil.  Also, when considering that this giant tree was only about 25 feet away from the house and 1/4 of the tree limbs hung precariously over the house, the use of the crane provided us with great assurance that no damage would occur to our home or property.  Josh also took great care to avoid heavy equipment being placed on or near the septic system and leach field.

My husband was home the entire day of the take-down, and he was very impressed (and had a bit of boyish-fascination) with the skill and precision demonstrated by the arborists doing the cutting, and especially the crane operator.  He was also very happy with how the entire crew worked together, like a well-oiled machine, running the operation efficiently and with great safety in mind.

When the job was done, there were a few minor tire ruts in the lawn, but nothing that couldn't easily be re-leveled....most importantly, no damage was done to the house or septic system, and they did a great job cleaning everything up afterwards.  As Josh had assured us, all the larger limbs (10-20+ft. long, 2 ft. in diameter, about 25-30 of them) were picked up and hauled away within a few days of job completion.

Josh and his crew did an incredible job, start to finish, on this behemoth tree!  Considering the time and the amount of work that had to be done to remove this tree, the price was more than fair. The entire crew were very professional, courteous and respectful throughout the entire day-and-a-half process.  As a Horticultural professional myself, I would highly recommend J & T Tree Care for any and all tree care and/or removal needs.

    Regal Tree & Shrub Experts

Kevin replied to my request for a quote on tree removal very promptly, the day I sent it I believe. He came and looked at the requested work and returned a very reasonable quote. I had several other quotes to consider and his was the most reasonable and I immediately had confidence in his genuine and professional manner of expertise. He and his crew came and worked straight through the day, cleaned up nicely and were on their way. And we are very happy with the results.! I would highly recommend their service!

    North-Eastern Tree Service Inc
I called up North-Eastern and requested an estimate; one of the supervisors came out and did an assessment, leaving it in my mailbox. I followed up with a few calls to work the details and we scheduled the work to be done on April 18th. The job was made a little difficult due to the fact that I had a septic system in the area, so they could not bring any heavy machinery close to the trees.
Still, the crew came by and spent the better part of the day cutting down the 6 trees, sectioning them up, and hauling everything away. The guys were very friendly and professional, answering questions that I had. The stump grinding crew came the next week, and were also friendly and professional, getting the job done and hauling debris away. I would highly recommend North-Eastern to anyone looking for tree work. As an aside, they also offer a payment plan so you can break it up over a time period - very convenient.

They not only removed stump, but got rid of several roots that had been growing out while tree was still there. Put down some dirt to fill in the hole as well. Much more than I was expecting and a very good price.

    Brito's Landscaping Services, LLC.
It is an older gentleman and his wife runs the office. They are very communicative and they showed up when they said they would. They were very reliable and did a good job. I was very happy and I even gave them extra money. They came out on a really, really hot day. I put out a thing of water and I was really pleased.

    Schwartz Tree & Landscape
Mr Schwartz set up an appointment to go over the job.  He gave me several recommendations on the project as well as some advice on future care.   He is extremely knowledgeable and willing to give me several pointers on making the area look better.   His estimate was in the area I expected and the work was done for that amount.   Very pleased with the job and will use his company for future projects.

    AMERICAN TREE EXPERT CO
Our beautiful 300 year old white oak lost a huge branch (actually 2, one took another with it). Dave and Mike Sweet came right away and cleared the driveway where it had fallen. When the tree turned out to be rotted inside and dangerous to leave up (two houses were in its path if it fell) Mike took it down. It was a huge and dangerous job, using a cherry-picker and chainsaws. They cut as much of it as was healthy into firewood and logs for lumber.

    TJ'S TREE & LANDSCAPE
Terrible. Don't come when they say they will. When they finally came, they said their "machine broke" and left the large crane in our backyard for 3+ weeks with our fence down, branches everywhere, backyard a mess. Repeatedly said they would come and didn't. Repeatedly said they would call and didn't. Finally after almost a month, came to get crane, picked up some of the branches. Left several stumps and the fence down. Contacted RI Attorney General's office only to discover we were one of many complaints, and that they didn't have a license, nor insurance! A real nightmare!
