When I arrived, I had my Dental Insurance Card, but I had left my driver's license at home; they made me go back and get it before they would see me, even though I had my previous records (x-rays and narrative) from another dentist and my card with me which pretty well indicated who I was (dental records being a way of identifying people).  The dentist was extremely rude and in a hurry as we wanted to begin his time off for vacation.  He said he would contact my insurance company about my crowns since it involved the previous dentist.  After several months, I didn't hear back from him.  I called the office and they said that he hadn't done anything.  I asked for a copy of my x-rays and the return of my previous records.  They said they had my previous records, but couldn't give my x-rays until I signed a waiver.  When I got the waiver in the mail, I called and asked why they didn't return my previous records, and they said they couldn't return them unless I signed the waiver, even though I brought them in myself.  When I received a copy of my x-rays, I called and asked where the previous records were.  Then after a day, they said they weren't allowed to give my the records that I had brought in myself - and that they had destroyed them because they were no longer relevant!
A horrible experience and I wouldn't go there if you paid me.

    Robert Almeida DDS
Dr. Almeida is absolutely fantastic. His wife Barbara Beers is one of the hygienists in his small practice and she is excellent as well.
Dr Almeida is an excellent dentist and is thorough with his treatment and makes sure that you are pain free.
The office is clean and quiet. They will work with you on a payment plan if need be.
When my special needs son had issues with his wisdome teeth he helped us find an excellent oral surgeon who took very good care of my son.
If you have an emergency he gives out his cell phone number so you can get in touch with him right away. The personal care they take with the patients is excellent.

The atmosphere in the office is like a luxurious spa. The waiting room is opulent for a dentist office with a huge flat panel TV. Everyone I met looked like they jumped right off the cover of "Vogue" from the receptionists to the assistants to even Dr. Kuchar, the dentist. The dental rooms are equipped with all state of the art equipment including digital xrays and dental chairs with user operable heat and massage! There is even a flat panel TV on the ceiling you can watch while they work on you. Every one of the ladies (they just happened to be all women) were friendly, professional, and genuinely concerned with my comfort level and my needs. I had the best dental experience I've ever had right up until the cost estimate was delivered to me by the finance manager. Unfortunately, my experience with this office will be limited to conventional procedures such as cleaning and cavity fillings since I simply cannot afford their cost of service for things like implants. I am going to pursue other means such as dental schools or check around in my network to find a more economical alternative. Don't get me wrong, if I could afford the premium price, I would stay with them because I can see the value added of having top shelf care such as this.:

    Balamas, Dr. John P.
He's a great dentist and he's been my dentist for twenty five years.  My wife works for a college and so she asked around.  She dealt with this young doctor twenty five years ago and he was about thirty years old just getting out of dentistry school.  He was teaching dentistry at the college and he was also doing a lot of clinical work at clinics for free.  He had just finished medical school so he probably had at least two hundred and fifty thousand in bills that he had to pay.  He was in another practice which was right next to us.  We cheerfully go to him because he's fantastic.  He's very good and he's got a great staff.  Everybody is happy and they are just very professional.  He still works for the clinics may be four or five hours a week for free.

I am a dental hygienist working in a pediatric office so I go to Dr. Lung's office for my own needs. Love the office, staff, and the care I receive. Top notch...and I should know.
