    Steve was great! He arrived only 15 minutes after the beginning of the window of time we were given. He was so friendly and explained everything. He had the needed fridge part in his car and replaced it quickly. Turns out, we were doing something wrong with the oven (we had just moved in), but he was gracious and explained what we were doing wrong. Price was reasonable. And he was even great with our dog (gave her a milkbone!). I would definitely use them again.

    Sears
    Issac on the phone said that they do not service my type of dishwasher. All it says on the front is Performa. I told him that. I asked him to Google it to see if Sears services that type of dishwasher. He just said, "No, we do not service that type of dishwasher." I Googled it and it came up as a Maytag Dishwasher. I called back to let Issac's manger know that he lost a customer by not being supportive on the call. He was strictly negative. However, when I called back I spoke to another employee who would not connect me with a manager until I explained the situation, which I did. He then disconnected me.

    We can now bake scones again! Our Oven light was even fixed. The work was clean, timely, and down right the first time. We were out of their usual service area, so I appreciated them coming out and making the trip.

    Repair technician assessed the problem and provided an estimate for the repair. As new parts were no longer available, he quoted the repair using used parts available on ebay. I decided to to spend the money on a 30 year old stove and paid just for the service call.

    Griff arrived on time (actually a few minutes early). I explained the problem; he opened the freezer door (it was a side by side) and he knew immediately what was causing the problem. He pointed it out, explained how to avoid it in the future, made a minor adjustment but told me to keep an eye on it in the future. As well, he checked my ice-maker while he was here. He was very knowledgeable, very pleasant and reasonably priced. He will be my go-to guy for future appliance repairs. One other thing of note: I called a few others before finding Adesso, and none of them fixed GE frigs. Another big plus for Adesso.

    My gas oven wasn't going on, but the gas was coming out. When I called, they said he would be there between 2-6, and he was there at 2:00. He was friendly and enthusiastic about his work. He showed me what was wrong, the ignitor was shorted. At least I think that is what he said. Anyway, he had the part right in his truck, fixed it, and made sure the stove and oven were both working before he left.

    He did a very good job on the tasks he completed.   
    However, before I hired him, I sent him a list indicating what needed to be done.  It included taking some things to the local dump (not a huge amount).  When he arrived, I showed him each task listed, including items to go to the nearby dump.  He never said a word about not doing this, until after he completed all the other tasks. Then he informed me he couldn't do this.  I didn't appreciate this  way of handling the situation. I felt manipulated.  Think he may have a problem working for a woman.

    I have to be fair. These guys run a tight ship. They answer the phones, they show up on time. They do quality work. They are not the cheapest, but hey, they DO show up.
    I have a problem with their billing practice though. As a landlord, I expect my contractors to show up, do the work, send me the bill and I pay them on time. I never have problem with any other people but Same Day Service company. Knowing that I will not be on the spot to make the payment and that my tenant will not be paying for the repairs, they refuse to show up for the repair without my credit card information. And they kept my credit card on file from last time they showed up, despite my request not to do so. That's the reason I gave them a D for professionalism. I hope they change their billing practice to be more landlord friendly.

    My Mom was very happy with the service - she was worried that this would be a very expensive fix and just avoided using the dryer for several months.  He quoted her a price after checking it out and also noticed an additional issue with the venting due to prior house paining that she was not aware of.  Gill's had her all set in one visit and she was very pleased with the response, ease of scheduling, and the extra steps he took to make sure everything was set up correctly. She wishes she did it sooner and will definitely call again if she has problems with any of her other appliances.  I was also told that she thought he was very honest and appreciated the fact that he took the time and explained and showed everything to her of what was wrong so she knew what the problem was.  Its been several months now and the dryer is working perfectly.

    Great. First they came out and looked at the machine and provided an estimate. Then they came back with parts and did the job. It took a little less than an hour and the machine has been working beautifully ever since. They were very professional and friendly through the entire process. Even though they came out twice, I did find the price a little high for less than an hour of work, but I've never had a washing machine repaired, so the price could have been fairer than I thought.
