    Cooling Unlimited Inc
I had a great experience working with Cooling Unlimited. They installed central AC from scratch and also replaced my boiler and H/W heater. They were very professional, well organized and made sure the project went as smoothly as possible. The installers were very courteous and certainly knew what they were doing. The follow-up with MassSave rebates and inspections was also excellent. I would recommend them to anyone with HVAC needs. I worked with Jason on the estimates and paperwork, Mike on the planning, Joe led the boiler work, and sadly I did not catch the name of the lead on the AC work - but he was excellent too. The whole team was amazing.

Milltown Plumbing, Heating, HVAC, & Drain Cleaning
You are about to read one sided opinion, but this is our experience with this company. TL;DR, I wouldn't hire them, I felt they took advantage of us when we are in need for help, they just care about how to make the most money from us rather than helping us to complete the task. We are one of the restaurants effected by the 2018 Andover gas explosions. We hired Milltown to help us convert all the equipments to use propane so we can run our business while waiting for the natural gas to fix. Milltown's sale guy, Kevin inspected and told us that all of our equipments can be converted to propane with the conversion kits, we didn't know he was a sale guy when we first met him. He quoted us for $16870, we thought it was high but we had to go with them because we need to reopen our restaurant as soon as possible and we thought that we paid this much we might be able to move faster. A week later they came here to run the pipes and do all the equipment conversions and finally passed the inspection. It took them 2 guys about 3 days in total to run the pipe and changed all l the regulators. Everything passed the inspection, we paid them half for the deposit then we were about to write them the check for the rest but we hold off on paying them because when we started using the stoves to cook, all of the equipments produce only the red flame causing the smoke. Our chefs told us about his and we then contact Milltown and they hired an external contractor to come take a look but none of the actions taken to address the issue. We struggled but in real need to open the restaurant so we did. One of our chef left because he couldn't handle all the smoke. About a week or so, we got a call from the fire department that we had to shut the restaurant because of the gas leaks. We contacted Milltown, all we heard was that we had to pay what we owe them for another $8435 so they can come out here. The manager, Billy, Kevin's boss, threatened us the lawsuits if we wont pay in full. We told them that what Milltown had done werent complete because we couldnt cook with the smoke and the equipments now didnt work as expected that was why Milltown had to hire the contractor in the first place. They said the work had completed when things passed the inspection, that was it. All the equipments including hot water heater need to be converted to electric as well. For the 75 gallon tank piping work, they charged us $4600, it took them less than 5 hours. We thought that outrageous but we dont have time to switch to other plumber at this point.

Very well- Pete called the night before and came the next day on time. He completed the job in about 2.5 hours. He got the old hot water heater out front to be picked up by the town and the box the new water heater came in was cut up and put in my recycle box.

    Overlook Mechanical Services
Bethland the owner of Overlook Mechanical was great to work with. As we do not have gas, a new Weil McLain U-05, Beckett Burner and a GeoSpring Heat Pump water heater was installed. The previous 6 zone system was a complete mess (from an esthetic standpoint) Copper/BlackPipe/Electrical/Telephone/Cable just running everywhere. If you look at the before and after pictures you can how clean and organized it now looks. We love it! Bethland is very responsive and was quick to respond whenever we needed a question answered, they sectioned off the entire area with plastic before beginning work to keep the other parts of the room clean, tarped where needed, cleaned up after the project and had everything hauled away. Good work and Clean Installation what else do need? Some might always look at the price as the final determining factor. Overlook is competetive in pricing. Of course I want to save money like the next guy, but I also have to live with this unit for the next 30 years or sell the house with this area looking decent. So finding someone who cares not only about the quality of product and the installation but also considers how to improve the functionality of the space and its esthetics was a determining factor. We will continue to use Overlook for our plumbing and heating and recommend those looking for a new system to give Bethland a call.

They were awesome! Top notch professional work, honest and really worked hard for us! The Bosse brothers of Overlook Mechanical made it painless for our family, a real pleasure to work with and have in our home! That's important to me because I am extremely cautious about having strangers in our home, but they were so professional and courteous, honest and decent. We expected the worst and little did we know we were going to get the best! Their kind and considerate demeanor made an otherwise stressful situation seamless and they worked diligently until the job was finished (and at the worst time of year nonetheless) and we had heat and hot water with no more delay than necessary. They really cared about the quality of the job but it seemed they also really cared about us...not your usual contractors that's for sure! Bethland had a nice manner and was very informative upfront as to what was going to happen and how long it was going to take so we could prepare as a family. I thought that was very courteous, and they were true to their word. Their work exceeded our expectation. When finished it was beautiful and neat unlike the eyesore we had previously. Bethland installed a much more efficient system than we had before and much nicer that what was quoted by other contractors and even our own oil company. What he brought to the table was worth way more than we paid. We trust him and he is now our guy for all service and any future work and would recommend to anyone in the hunt like we were a year ago, without hesitation, just have Bethland do it and save yourself the hassle! He's worth it, the experience is worth it and the outcome is worth it! Hope this helps! All the best!

Our hot water heater broke and leaked water all over the cellar floor. I found Peter on Angie's list and he had great reviews. I called him and he was here first thing the next morning to install the new hot water heater. We couldn't have been more pleased with his quality of work. Besides his good quality of work, he's such a very nice person to have in your home. I'll always use Peter for any plumbing needs in the future.

Absolute Precision Plumbing, Heating & Cooling
I wrote a review on Yelp his response back to me was Bob ??? You can figure out the meaning of this. I had also asked him for a quote for heating system. I told him I was getting quotes from other plumbers, all he did was put the others down. I will never use him or recommend him again.

The guy is far very personable to work with. I've known him for years. They are a little bit on the expensive side when they deliver oil than other people are but when you need service they are like right here immediately. I had a friend here waiting and they were late.

    Silco Plumbing & Heating
Was referred to SILCO by our electrician. Called the owner Jerry and had a great conversation and felt confident that they could serives our needs. He sent over one of his reps (Joe?) who spent a good hour looking at our furnance and plumbing. When Joe left we didn't feel very good about the house we bought. He told us we'd need a new furnace ($6-8,000) work on our hot water heater venting ($2000-$2500) but did say they would fix our shower leak for "no charge" when his crew came over. He also said he'd send over a proposal.
Fast forward ... We never heard back from Joe or Jerry and didn't feel it was our obligation to chase them for a propoal. Instead, contacted our heating supplier and asked them about our furnance. Thank goodness we did. One part and $375 later our funance was fixed and now works great (without naming names we shared some of what SILCO said about our furnance and they said just the opposite). We tracked down our plumber we used for years at our last house and he came over to fix the shower leak ($225) and will address the water heater venting issue. He's given us an estimate of $700 for that.
From our experience with Silco, I'd say "buyer beware" and certainly secure second opinions and estimates before you contreact with them.

    JT Son Plumbing & Heat
After this man put in the tank we began having problems with the pilot light going off every couple of weeks. This was NEVER a problem before this man entered the house. When my daughter called him to complain he said "What the f*** do you want me to do!! " We have since talked to another plumber who said to check with the town of reading to see if this man got a permit to place the tank. I am doing this in the morning and will let you know what found out.

    UPDATE 1-25-16

Description Of Work: This is a follow up on my last review. Joe Tello (JT) did not pull a permit when he installed the hot water heater. When he got a call from the plumber who is in charge of making sure this is done, he got angry. I was told by the town ombudsman that Mr Tello called him to complain about the plumbing inspector. Mr. Tello told the ombudsman that he was in California and that he has $2 million dollars in the bank and did not like being called at 4 am!
