The furniture was transformed to an almost new looking condition and the mattress looks brand new, which is amazing considering the disgusting looking stain. Completely gone!

The Galaxy's Finest Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning
I had a mattress with old coffee stains. Galaxy's agent Chris was clear and professional about what could and could not be done with the situation. He was prompt, called ahead, diligent and helpful. Will definitely call on them again.

They delivered when they said they would, moved my old mattress and box spring to my basement. I wanted a firm mattress and the mattress they delivered is firm.

This mattress changed our lives. My wife and I now count the minutes until bedtime. This is the most comfortable surface either of us has ever slept on...in our lives. We have been through 6 different mattresses and have never had anything that compares to our SleepPro. I cannot recommend this product enough. It was worth every penny.

    Spindle Mattress
We started our search for a mattress at sleep number and at Jordan's.  We tried out air mattresses, innerspring, tempurpedic and latex mattresses.  We left Jordan's really liking the Pranasleep Vinyasa plush, but not liking the $5200 price.   I was determined to find a more reasonable option.   I found the website Mattress underground and learned about Spindle Mattress in Acton. We visited the Spindle Mattress and they have their bed available to try in 4 firmness:  soft, medium, firm and extra firm.  It was very low key and low pressure.   What is nice about the mattress is that you see exactly what is in the mattress - 3 layers of 3" latex zipped into a mattress cover.   My husband and I are both side sleepers and wanted a soft feel, but with support.    I mentioned to Kim that I really liked the plushness/pillow top of the viyana plush bed and he suggested that we try the firm mattress with a medium mattress topper.  He set up that option for us and we really liked it.    The topper feels very soft and provided the "plushness" I was looking for. We put our order in and a few days later we picked it up.  They do FEDEX delivery, but we picked it up ourselves.  You receive the mattress and put it together yourself.  It was a 2 person job, but did not take us long.   We had been warned that you initially will think the latex doesn't fit in the mattress cover, but it does.   Look at the spindle site or on you tube as there are helpful hints on how to adjust the latex so it lines up.    We zipped up the cover and placed the mattress topper on top. We have been very happy and the entire experience was very pleasant.   I feel we got a better product for much less @ $1900 (king and topper).  Note:   If after buying the mattress you feel the mattress is too hard/soft - Spindle will work with you to change a layer of latex to help you adjust your mattress.

I needed to replace a 20 year old mattress. They have a factory and built me a custom size mattress and boxspring set including legs 84x88 inches. The units were extremely well constructed.

Buying a mattress is (used to be) so very difficult.   The most confusing product lines and manufacturers, and now adding in the online providers. Gardner Mattress is just so simple, very high quality, and have been in business for something like 100 years.  And they are local to our area - all made here. But the most important thing is the quality of the mattresses - and they are the best.  Hands down.   Constructed the way that mattresses used to be decades ago.  Gardner uses Quality materials (not like major brands with phony concoction designed to look comfortable but is just padded up foam that breaks down after 2 or 3 months.) WE ARE SO HAPPY WITH OUR GARDNER MATTRESS.   Will never buy anything else.  (just praying they stay in business for a very long time -- because there aren't many - or any? - companies like this around.) Just for comparison, here is our experience with other mattresses.  We loved our Westin bed that we had for 10 years - but be warned that the new Westin beds are made by different supplier - NOT the same as they were a decade ago.  So that option was out. We also have a second home where we bought a major brand - don't remember exactly which - it was from Jordan's Furniture, so probably Simmons, Sealy, or some such.   It is so awful.  Hate hate hate that mattress.  When our Westin bed finally needed to be replaced - decided to buy from the most reviewed online mattress that I won't name because they fiercely track comments and it will summon them (trust me - I have a couple of very weird examples too long to go into here - check Consumer Reports where I posted a review)   I'll say it rhymes with "Laatva"     So lumpy and created a hammock effect right toward the end of the trial.  Do not recommend at all.   In short - go with Gardner - you will not be sorry.  We went to the Newton store.  Such an easy process and the mattress is very nice!    (I asked them why they don't advertise.  They said they just get enough word-of-mouth.  So here's my contribution)

    Gardner Mattress Factory Outlet
We called them because the mattress was lumpier than it used to be. They sent a technician out to look at it and he said that this was not right. He said that they do not manufacture this anymore and that they would replace it. They came and picked it up the following week and took it out. The latex coir part was alright but the top of the mattress that was gone. They took it back to the factory prefabricated the whole new top and brought back it in the next two days. They took it on a Monday and it came back on a Wednesday. There were no questions asked, there was no delivery charge and it was so extraordinary how nicely they honored the warranty. They made a heck of a mattress. It was not a cheap mattress it would last for eternity. I thought it was not unjustly priced but the price was fair for what I was getting. It was a $2000 mattress, so I accepted it to last and not inexpensive.
