    The quote they gave me was $5,000 to install countertops. He was fine but it was just that the price was too high for me. He was good. He came out to the house and measured everything quickly and was able to give me a quote that day. He was very responsive. He was very professional. He gave me tips on what I needed to do if I wanted it to get done right.

    Kyra will extremely helpful!  She was very patient, understanding and knowledgeable about the entire process.  Kyra provided three granite yards for us to visit, but recommended the one that she thought would have the colors we were looking for.  Upon selecting the slab, Kyra was very responsive.  The installation was scheduled within 10 days of selecting the slab and her installation team was very professional, prompt and friendly.  I would not hesitate recommending The Granite Guys for your any stonework or countertop needs you may have.

    We had work done twice on our unit and once on my sisters unit. The first time in April/May, 2013, we had our bathtubs replaced, and the enclosures. We own a duplex with my sister and she also had her bathroom remodeled. The only issue we had the first time was that we did not get the bathtub that we ordered because the salesman measured the bathtub incorrectly. The company ended up giving us a smaller bathtub than we ordered. If we did nor settle for the smaller bathtub we would have to wait a month for the correct bathtub, and since our bathtub was removed we would not have had a bathtub, so we had to compromise.
    The second work we had done was in July. We had our tiles replaced and wainscoting done as well as our medicine cabinet and the light fixture over the medicine cabinet. When the salesman came my husband  told him he would add an electrical outlet in the bathroom, that is the only conversation we had about electrical work.
    When the installer Jeff (who was wonderful) came he was pleasant and polite and did a great job. The day before the medicine cabinet went up a gentleman who was at our home told my husband the electrician would be at the property to install the light fixture over the medicine cabinet at 8:00 am the following day. Early the following morning a Dennis called and stated that we had to pay to have the electrical work done because it was not a part of our contract. I pointed out that was not discussed. The salesman discussed with us that they would replace anything they took down and that he would make a note that we would be purchasing a new and smaller medicine cabinet and light fixture at his suggestion(Husband not happy with the smaller cabinet).
    Jeff the installer showed me that he had paperwork where the salesman wrote that he told us they would not do any electrical work. After much discussion a Jennifer told me that she would send a Dennis over and that she would eat the cost of the electrical work. This entire incident made them seem dishonest. One day someone told my husband that the electrician will be at the house at 8:00 am and they called at 8:00 am to say its not a part of our contract???
     Dennis came by later on and my son opened the door for him. My son greeted Dennis who responded, but he marched right by my husband and I sitting on the couch and completely ignored us. My husband then greeted him. We could feel the anger emanating from him. We where uncomfortable with him in our home. I sent an email to the company while he was at our home about his rudeness and I was not really a people person(Maybe he is in the wrong job) Once the work was completed and Jeff was ready to collect the balance of the payment, somehow he did not have a record that we had made a deposit of $1700. We also checked our cute little folder with our copies of the paperwork from the salesman which was all NCR paper. We DID NOT have a copy of that hand written note that stated that Re-Bath would not do any electrical work. We still have to check that we where not billed twice for the deposit. I sent the company an email about the paperwork that was not a part of our file that we did not have a copy of, and they have not responded. Once again it made them seem dishonest.
    We had an issue with the medicine cabinet and the lights not been level and we called the office and Dennis came back still not a pleasant man. They came back two weeks later after I sent an email to remind them about the issue and by then my husband made the correction. We also had an issue with a hole in the grout and a few other grout issues. We where not notified, they just showed up at the door before 8:30 am on Friday. My sister had an appointment with them to come and replace her shower head that lasted less than two months and after repeated requests by my husband and an email that I sent(They made an appointment and canceled it the week before) 
    My sister's appointment was between 12:00 - 2:00 pm on Friday the ninth of August. They asked if they could come at 11:00 am and she told them that she would like to be there and that she will be heading home after working an over night shift, so that was not possible. At about 8:20 am my husband came home from work and saw Jeff outside waiting because we did not have an appointment. I had to get ready for work and did not plan to have my bathroom worked on today.  I was not aware of appointment for 12 noon for my sister. Once again the company was sneaky and dishonest by showing up without making an appointment for my unit and by having the installer telling me he had to go over and replace her shower head almost four hours before her appointment, knowing that she said she would not be home. If I had known, I would not have violated her privacy by letting a representative from the company into her unit. Also not only did she want them to replace the broken shower head she wanted to point out a hole in the tile work.
    When my sister arrived home and found out what happened, she called the company and expressed her dissatisfaction at having her privacy violated, Sue started to laugh at her no doubt feeling victorious that they pulled one over on her by showing up four hours early and getting an appointment that was declined. That sneakiness necessitates them having to return to assess/repair the tile work.

    It went well, our daughter fell sick and was hospitalized during much of the time Joe was working at our home. He worked well with my family members and helped out when Sears had not delivered all the parts to our oven. That was a big help. He came back later to install when Sears sent the parts and check on everything. He answers questions and even went to Home Depot with me to pick out from large samples of countertop choices. His advice was spot on.

    I received prices from 3 cabinet makers and 3 granite companies that I had used on past condo conversion projects. I had met the owner of Compass Solutions and brought him in as a fourth quote. The price was 25%less than the lowest price I had received. I was initially concerned that with pricing being so low that the quality would be as well. My fears were neutralized by the owner?s professionalism and knowledge. I decided to give him a shot and was glad that I did

    Dolan installed the countertop and tile backsplash at my mother's house while she was in the hospital and time was of the essence. The people at Dolan are very nice and extremely accommodating, we had some tough scheduling as I was getting the hardwood floors redone and the vinyl flooring in the kitchen as well. They did a fantastic job and made time in their schedule to make sure the project was completed Prior to her coming home. After the installers left, we realized there was a blemish in the surface, I called the office and they made sure the fabricator came to the house to polish it out. The job turned out perfect and although they weren't the cheapest, you definitely get what you pay for and i'm glad I went with Dolan.
