Ricky replaced our broken down brick steps with beautiful new granite and brick. It looks like night and day with a new design layout and awesome curb appeal. Ricky was easy to work with, answered all my emails quickly and was flexible when we needed to reschedule. We are thrilled with the final look and craftsmanship.

    OLD TYME CHIMNEY SWEEP
Good, clean process. Assumed wrong that for the price the box in basement would be cleaned too. Not sure if the chimney was actually cleaned too as invoice states "sweep firebox and vac out soot. Paid for chimney sweep.

    Sheridan Landscaping
Sheridan Landscaping was a pleasure to work with from the planning stages through the actual building of a custom stone Natural Gas Fire Pit. The crew was meticulous and did a very professional job. They continued to come back to tweek a few small items. We would heartily reccomend using Sheridan Landscaping for any custom Stone work. We are enjoying using our new Fire Pit and are getting a stream of compliments from those who have seen it!! Chris was a great project manager from start to finish. Mike their Stone mason did an amazing job with our custom stonework.

    OLD TYME CHIMNEY SWEEP
Great Job, professional, friendly, quality work, on time.  I was very pleased with the work done and considering the scope of work, and, what was involved, the price was good. I would recommend Dan to anyone looking to have similar work done. Only work actually needing to be done was suggested, and, when Dan noticed that his quote did not include a new chimney cap he offered to install one for free since "It really does need one". I told him that I appreciated that and I didn't think it was fair for him to loose money (he could have said nothing so this shows me integrity and pride in work) and we agreed that I would just pay cost of the cap, not for installation. This is how to do business.

    Naturescape
We had a retaining wall in terrible shape. Bob was responsive when I called and went to work shortly thereafter. The new wall is amazing as are the walkways.  He was extremely helpful in designing how it would look and recommending the hardscape. He and his associated worked so hard, six days a week. He always responded to my questions and the price was very fair for all the work they. If you look on his website, you'll see the dramatic difference his work made to our house. We would highly recommend him for any landscaping work.

Chimney Chap Inc - South Shore Fireplace Inc
We had read wonderful reviews of this company on line and wanted to use them to do some VERY minor repairs on a chimney..remove an antenna and replace some bricks. We were told that there was a $79 charge for the estimate which would be applied to the cost of the work. I was sure that we would use their services and told them to go ahead with the estimate. Shame on me!!! We received an estimate of $1600 for the chimney repairs. Additional services which we did not want were added and the estimate for the labor alone was $750!!!!  We contacted 2 other companies who DID NOT charge for estimates. We had the work done by another contractor who charged us $500 for the work. Needless to say, I am now being hounded by the company for their $79 estimate.

The company returned calls promptly, scheduled a visit to evaluate repairs, prepared an estimate and performed the services on the dates and times promised. The chimney chaps who came to the house were polite, efficient and conscious of my budget.

    Naturescape
We had been looking to hire a contractor for the past couple
of years to do several landscape projects on our property. I received several
estimates from other local landscape companies and had actually hired two of
them who inexplicably proved to be no-shows.
I discovered Naturescapes on Angie?s list and contacted owner Bob
Whyte to receive estimates for the work we were looking to get done. Rarely do
you find a dedicated, customer oriented and honest contractor like Bob Whyte. Bob
came out and spent a great deal of time evaluating and planning the work that
we wanted done and we received his estimates with-in a few days of his visit
via e-mail. The estimates clearly detailed the work to be done and the
materials required, sample pictures were provided of previous Naturescapes
projects that were similar to what we were looking for. Bob pointed out
drainage and design issues that none of the other contractors we contacted took
note of. His pricing was equal to or lower than the other estimates we had
    received.
Work began during the agreed upon time frame. Bob and his
crew are craftsman at their trade. Extremely hard working, they arrived on
time, and the attention they gave to the project customer was exceptional. We
originally hired them to install stairs and a paver patio off of our walk-out
basement.  Once we saw the quality and
value of the workmanship we knew we had found a contractor we could continue to work with.
Over the next several weeks we hired Naturescapes to do several
other projects: Our property had a cement and cobblestone circular driveway
that had been poorly installed by the previous owners and had become an eyesore.
Naturescapes assisted with the demolition of the driveway and installed a
serpentine paver walkway in its place. The remainder of the drive was
eliminated and was loomed and seeded. Flowers and shrubs were planted along the
walkway. Next an old, undersized deck off of the sunroom was demolished and a
patio, walkway and granite stairs were installed matching the design that Naturescapes
had completed on the walk out patio and stairs. A flower garden was installed
next to the sunroom that ties into the walkway. The final job was the removal
of a pressure treated lumber retaining wall and cement staircase at the end of
the driveway. The asphalt driveway was end cut into a curve shape and a hand
fitted field stone wall with granite steps was constructed that connected to
the walkway leading to the patio.
During all phases of this work underground electrical conduit
needed to be installed or rerouted.
Irrigation heads had to be added or relocated. PVC pipe was installed
under the walkways to allow for any future expansion of the irrigation or
electrical requirements. Drainage was routed underground to eliminate unsightly
drainpipes and drain covers. Colored stucco was applied to unsightly cement
retaining walls. Loam and seed was put down in the required areas. Naturescapes
has a team of professions that provided all of these services.
I did a fair amount of nit-picking and continually piled on
the work and despite all the other construction projects that Naturescapes had
going on this summer, they some how managed to complete all that I had
    requested.
Obviously, we are extremely happy with the quality of the
work and the cost, these improvements made an amazing difference in our
property. Bob and his crew are extremely polite and courteous, always asking if
the work was to our satisfaction or if we wanted anything changed. Bob answered
all phone calls and text messages almost immediately, and he continuously
followed up as the work progressed.
    Hire him.

Because of the distance and many responses to the offer, it took some time to schedule but we were in no hurry.  Jason the mason brought in another mason who was closer and honored the deal.  He followed up and the job was done well.

    JD Masonry LLC
From start to finish this company was "AAA". Where do I start! I have had the experience of dealing with many contractors over 40 years.John Darling the owner of this company is at the "TOP" of the list. He returned every single phone call quickly of which there were many. John explained every aspect of the job in detail. If there were any problems when the job was in progress I was called right away.
This family owned business is run by honest hard working people who care about their work. The attention to detail in their craftsmanship is an art. John and his family have over 60 years of combined experience at their craft and it shows in the final product. My project which was a large job, not only was finished way ahead of the finished date but best of all was under my estimate. When John could save me money anywhere in the project he did. I cannot thank John and his family enough for making such a large project go so smoothly. My wife and I can't be happier. We will be calling this company for future work.
