Like a well oiled machine. All phases handled professionally. From the initial contact, quote and follow up with project manager, Gordon Williamson, on through the day of the installation, all questions, updates, etc. were handled in a very timely fashion. Installation was smooth. We hardly knew the crew was here even though, of course, they had to be in the house for part of it. They were also professional, very willing to answer questions, and easy to work with. They easily solved one small unexpected install issue. And when they left, no one could tell anyone had been here. Clean, neat and knowledgeable about what they were doing. We also had a boiler issue during the early spring. Persistence and patience by the technician helped save the system from having to be replaced - at least at this time. A lesser company had deemed it irrepairable. All positives for this company.

    Affordable Heating & AC
As I stated above- When winter came the radiators furthest away never worked again. No heat in kitchen, No heat in bathroom, no heat in living room. My husband and I called and left several messages with no return call. I have had to hire another steam heat service who stated this boiler was never vented, is full of debris and oil. They have been here two days putting in new pipes to vent and bleeding system and skimming. It will be expensive and my new plumber asked me the name of who put this system in and never did it correctly causing me a lot of extra money.

The person that did the work was very helpful in explaining exactly what was wrong. There were several things that needed to be fixed but I didn't want to get them all done at once due to the cost. He advised me on what were the most important fixes, that should be done right away and those that could wait

We used them to install our mini splits throughout the house and they'd done a great job. In this case I was just calling them back to change the cover on one of the pipes (we'd had the decks fixed and suddenly we had some exposed hoses). The workman make sure that the cover was as perfectly placed as possible, no small feat over a crooked hose, and I felt very satisfied with the quality of this small job.

It went well, the repair person was a little late because he was helping a co-worker move a commercial boiler at another location, but once he came, he worked very efficiently and cleanly and was in and out in less than 2 hours. He took the old equipment. He was very friendly and pleasant to talk to. He even was willing to move his truck when someone came to take away a dumpster he was parked next too.

Provided a thorough inspection of the AC unit, furnace exchange, hoses and ducts. Anthony was friendly and professional and educated me on the issues I have with my aging system. Having them back for estimate on replacing unit.

We just moved into our house last March and I wanted a simple maintenance done as I was unsure how the unit had been maintained in the past. They were rated fairly high and offered a $65 service so I went for it. Long story short - we were told our entire unit was installed incorrectly and we should look to replace our compressor and that the duct work, intake and all other elements were done completely wrong. Our house was built in 2008 so I was completely shocked - especially given that everything was working fine and we had no reason for concern. The estimate given for the work was between $3,500 - $4,000 and of course we got an immediate call to book the work after the service was complete. Needless to say we got a few other opinions and all said our system was perfectly fine. I simply write this as a buyer beware as I would hate to see anyone else taken advantage of. Be careful of "specials" as my feeling is they get you in and then clearly sell you something you don't need. Sad.

I called them on Friday, May 29th. I spoke with a very pleasant women and I told her that I needed someone to come look at my central AC. I told her I believed it is out of freon. She told me that Shawn would be out on Monday, June 1st between 2:00 -4:00 and that he would call when he was on his way. I thought great, a pleasant lady and a quick response. On Monday it was raining so I wasn't sure if he would still come out so I called the office and was told that yes he would still be there between 2:00 - 4:00. I took 3 hours off of work and went home and waited. He never showed up and didn't call. I called the office at 4:30 and was told by their answering service that they close at 4:00. Needles to say I am underwhelmed by their unprofessional conduct. I am so turned off by home repair/improvement companies. Most of them could care less about customer service because there are so many customers that they just go on to the next one.
I will hopefully find the jewel in the rough...

I purchased the Angie's List deal for 99.00 to do an AC tune up. A few days later I saw a deal for 89.00 for the same thing. My loss. ARS called me within a day I think and we scheduled an appointment. At that time I informed the scheduler that I thought the AC unit was out of freon.
Dave Smith was scheduled to be at my house between 9:30 - 12:00. At about 10:30 I received a call that he would not be there until closer to 12:00 or later. He arrived at about 1:00. It was ok with me. He looked at the outside unit and the inside unit on the furnace. He verifed that the system was out of freon and that the system must have a leak. Needless to say doing a tune up (whatever that consists of) wasn't needed. He stated that to find the leak, a nitrogen test would need to be done and it would cost about $300.00. He connected the nitrogen but didn't find any obvious leaks. He did isolate the condenser and thought that is where the leak most likely is but had no way of knowing for sure. Bottom line is the condenser is about 16 years old and the coil is over 20 years old. He recommended replacing the condenser and coil. He gave me a quote and I am still deciding on what I want to do. He didn't charge me the $300 for the test and we agreed on the 99.00 I had already paid for the tune up that didn't get done. Dave also noticed that my furnace was putting out a lot of white soot. It is over 20 years old and he recommended that it be replaced soon.

This is a company that I have used for the last 5 years for maintenance and minor repairs of my a/c unit. I had issues in the past with being double charged, which took a long time to resolve, but eventually I was able to.  They do good work, so I called them again to have my air conditioner cleaned.  After calling 4 times and not receiving a call back (even telling them how many times I had called), I moved on to another company.  Disappointed their service has gone down so much.
