    Isaac's Moving & Storage
Excellent Movers. Robert Arrowsmith did a great job coordinating the move. The move team of Alex, Anderson and Jose were the best we have had in our sixteen moves. They were polite, energized, careful and all one would want in a move team. No damage! Highly recommended!

    Marathon Moving Company Inc
They are clear about when they were coming and how much they were charging (coming in at the low end of their estimate). The guys worked continuously, but not always the most efficiently (For instance, waiting till the end to move the fridge out, and then realizing it would not fit through the front door - asking me to remove trim from the back door while they waited...someone could have measured this sooner, I believe, since this wasted time)

    Megamen Moving & Storage
Megamen movers were excellent. They accurately estimated the cost, showed up on time, were careful with all the boxes and furniture and were courteous and professional throughout. Next time I need a mover, I will definitely call these guys!

worst movers I ever had, to begin with asked them not to touch my stereo, they did and broke it, was assured they would fix it, broke a piece of glass, called them, we went back and forth, told me he would make time, time was never made, I don't even know who fixes stereos. This stereo in all my moves was never touched. This was stressed many times over and then I see one of them taking it apart, told his boss, don't worry, he can fix it......... they must of thrown my black lacquer chairs on top of each other, each one is scratched, everything that had 4 pieces, had 3, little pieces to put back together, that was how I spent July 4th weekend, running back and forth to Home Depot to find pieces to put shelves back on or pieces to put my table back together. Then my bedroom, didn't even notice until later, a big hunk of my hutch taken out of it, I know it wasn't like that, scratches on my armoire , my night table, then the desk they were going to leave in the hall, what made me hire them, I have no clue, they are NOT accredited with the BBB, every single mover he put down that I had used in the past, he was better than them, my furniture did not look like this when I used them, then he charged me extra money and couldn't wait to run out of here, that is when he broke the glass to my desk, they really were going to leave the desk in the hall, one more try he said, I said why not try standing it up.... one door, the entire move they had to remove, that's it, funny thing, other than my bedroom furniture, I really didn't have that much stuff, for the record, I did not sign a contract with them, it was a rush, rush thing, we made plans on June 30th and the job was to be done one July 2nd, a non returnable deposit was given taken right from my checking account, my debit card has since been replaced due to my stupidity, I can show my checking account statement with $10.00 taken out this month, $1.00 the month before which I guess is charged by the credit card company they use but I was never told and they just keep on taking??? ?I have the paper work setting up the job, explaining the cost, how many men, how many hours, how long it would take, when the job was done I was charged more. ?I have never unpacked and nothing has been touched, everything is where it was put, I am moving, I picked up a very expensive picture, the frame ?is broken I have found now, it looks like everything was just thrown on the truck, everthing?I touch I cry. ?I can't wait to unpack to find more damage. ?I have reported them to the BBB. ?

    Oscar's Moving Co

The service provided was excellent. We had a crew of 7 people on the first day to move our belongings from our home to a new home over 50 miles away. The crew was very respectful of the furniture and our home to make sure nothing was damaged and even helped pack a few items that we couldn't get to. The foreman answered all of our questions and was very attentive to our concerns. All the boxes and furniture were brought into our new home. We appreciated their patience as they waited for one of us to determine which of the rooms each box and piece of furniture would be placed.

On the second day there were 4 movers with the same foreman which made what could have been a difficult move go very smoothly. They moved two storage units to our new home and when it was determined that there would be a shortage of space they took the excess furniture to a new smaller storage facility close to our new home. In addition, the foreman had great suggestions about how to place the things in our home so we would have an easier time un-packing all of the boxes.

The move came in under budget because of the speed and hard work of the entire moving team. We considered their service to be top notch and have already referred their services to some people that we know.

    BrickHouse Moving Company, Inc

I chose Brickhouse based on the good reviews on the angie's list.  The owner Joe was responsive.  However,  the three guys showed up on the moving day are armatures.  they didn't seem to work as a team.  They were very slow.  I would be okay if they were slow but careful, but they damaged walls in both houses.  after they left, I realized that one of the floor lamps is missing its lamp shade and light bulbs.  also, it was raining pretty hard that day.  my leather couch and chair were not covered at all.  they were all wet.  and the movers were dragging the chair on the carpet and left dirt mark on my white carpet.

I have moved 4-5 times in my life.  this is the worst moving experience yet

maybe I am just unlucky.  but I would not use this moving company in the future.

    RARE Moving & Storage
We can't say enough wonderful things about the team from Rare Moving.  The owner often answers the phone and gets to know all his prospective customers, reassuring them with knowledge and kindness.  The packing team was friendly, helpful and encouraging to my elderly inlaws, even though they weren't completely ready for the move.  They packed two trucks and moved it 180 miles south with nothing noticeably damaged.  We can't say enough kind things about the team.  Tevon, John ("Jay"), Kevin, Jerome and Paul - all of them were so nice to us and so nice to each other.  They were a great team and actually looked like they were having fun with the challenges of too small doorways and tight corners.  They were very professional, polite and willing to do whatever it took to get the job done properly.
I did notice that they did not put paper or boards down on the carpeted hallways like I'd experienced with a premium mover a few years back.  If it had been a rainy/wet day, that would have been a problem but since it was a sunny, dry day, it was a non-issue.  But if you are looking for that extra clean service, you might want to inquire specifically.
Our parents' move required an additional truck and many additional hours, but it was all made enjoyable by the helpful team from RARE.  I would recommend them to all.

    Whitehouse Moving & Storage Co
Excellent, a crew of 3 showed up 5 minutes prior to the expected time.  They were very professional, worked hard and completed the move under their estimated time.  There was no damage and everything was handled with care.

    BrickHouse Moving Company, Inc
They were absolute professionals, courteous, and very easy to work with. I've moved many times in my life, and I feel they were absolutely excellent from the first phone call that I made to the completion of the job.

    Ryder Moving and Storage
They moved my stuff from FL to MA. They hired to 17 year old kids off of Craigslist to move our valuable furniture. They state they don't use sub contractors and use their own employees but that's a lie. I was originally quoted $2500 and ended up having to pay $5400. I personally boxed everything I could but I couldnt do the TV or mirrors, I was told they could wrap the glass and the TV but they ended up charging me an extra $994.  They said I went from 884 cubic feet to 1500 cubic feet. They low balled me to get the job. They damaged my furniture and my wall.
