    Overpriced. Unfair pricing. Joining one end of the pipe at the elbow joint with glue to cost about $200. This differs from a verbal estimate. We called the office after the work was done. The office agreed to lower the price but send the overpriced invoice. We paid the overprice invoice anyway.

    I cannot say enough good things about Berry Mechanical. The installed my first unit over 20 years ago and serviced it for those same 20 years, it finally croaked although we did try to save it but I was afraid on the coldest day of the year it would decide to take a permanent nap and I would have frozen to death. They arrived right on time at 8:30, 4-5 men removed the entire system and installed the new one. They were great, knowledgeable, I have a great system were I can raise and lower my heat on my cell phone, they installed it all and showed me how to run it. The equipment is fabulous, and they were amazing. They came back today, to double check everything to make sure all was in order and it was. Berry Mechanical is the best, they are honest great knowledgeable guys who really know their stuff. Thank you Alan and all the guys who work for you .. you are the very best.     TOTAL RIP OFF I called because I thought I had a water pressure issue (water barely dripping in bathroom shower). I paid $49 for a consultation. They came out and said it was just calcium that was built up in the shower head and that a $3,000 filtration system at the main line would help the calcium dramatically. I said yes, as I had been wanting one to clean out fluoride, chlorine, calcium, etc. and was very excited to get this started. He said, great, we'll set you up with and appointment and in the meantime, I'll just clean the calcium out of the shower head so it won't drip out. I said great and left for work. My husband called and said "how much did you agree to pay for this?" and I said "we didn't discuss a cost, I agreed to $49 consultation and set up another meeting for the filtration system". He told me that they charged me $517 dollars to clean the shower head!!!!!! I thought he was mistaken. No way can you possibly charge $500 to do what he did!!!! I called the office to ask if it was true and she said it was!! I almost fell off my chair. Then she said well he had to turn off the water at the MAIN LINE....like it was some sort of huge exercise. He walked down the stairs and turned a ball joint. It wasn't hidden or he didn't have to get down anywhere. It was as waist height and in the open and literally took one finger to do. Then she said well he had to drain the water from the ENTIRE HOUSE, so dramatic...he walked up the stairs and turned the faucet on which my 2 year old nephew does all the time. If I had been told that they were going to charge me $500 to unscrew the shower head, poke out a few holes of calcium and screw it back in I would have said no. There was NOOOOO discussion of price up front and I honestly didn't think to ask because it was so minor of an issue that may $50 or $100 but $500, plus I was signing up for a 3,000 job!!!! She said because the work was already done that it is what it is, sorry, so basically I have no recourse. I cancelled my filtration system. I feel I was ripped off royally. The Tech was very nice, however. we walked around the house and I have about $15k worth of plumbing, electrical, and heating items that I want to have done such as replace oil with forced hot air, tie up some heating lines that weren't finished, etc. I WILL NOT BE USING THESE GUYS. I have absolutely no issues paying people for work they do but this was ridiculous...don't gouge me!!! and also don't do work without telling people how much it's going to be up front if you are going to charge that much for something so simplistic. It's like going in for a routine oil change and getting a $500 bill.

    Fantastic. We contacted several plumbing companies (including one on the North Shore which didn't return our calls, messaging, or Angie's List messaging -- and we have used them several times in the past). Sila came out, was highly professional, and did a FANTASTIC job from job estimation to job completion. We had one small hiccup in what was a big job (cross-wired thermostat), and they came right out and fixed it, while they fine-tuned the burner. The quality of the work was absolutely first-rate: all fittings look perfect, the maze of piping was rationalized, they set it up to add a zone should we want one later, and we have lots of available hot water. It was expensive -- but I do feel peace of mind, and they will be out annually to check on it for the next few years. Highly recommend Sila!

    I had a pipe burst during the 2018 winter and called TTC for the emergency. The young lady Brianna sent someone out very quickly to my location even during a very busy time. They sent a plumber over the next few days until my baseboards and pipes were all replaced and the heat was back up and running. Very quality work in a very busy time of the year. Thank you TTC!

    The whole process went very well... from the initial consultation until the installation. Installing the system only took one day and it works great. After a bit of research, the price is probably a bit on the high side but I'd rather do that and get the job done right. Recommended.

    Technician found "major issues" with heat/AC, total system would need to be replaced supposedly. There were two condos/owners in one building and BOTH systems had the exact same problem - estimated $30,000 to repair each unit. Spoke with someone very knowledgeable and they advised that system is the "Cadillac" of that manufacturer's product line and under warranty for 25 years, that the alleged damage/issue is very rare (yet BOTH systems have it), and if issue was as bad as stated by tech, it would have been red tagged to take it out of service - preventing others from working on it. Almost feel like we were being taken advantage of because we are female!

    It has been running wonderful ever since. He was very helpful. I'm very grateful. I was very pleased with them. When I finally got through to the technician, they were out within an hour. I have a plan. I have the cooling plan with them. I have a plan, in other words, they come whenever there's an issue and I have one free tune-up a year. He said he'd be here in an hour, and he was.
