He has extensive experience and knowledge of the intricacies of building brand new homes and taking old 100+ year homes and remodeling them to be almost indistinguishable from new construction while still maintaining the character to give it a unique charm. He helped with digging a 5 feet foundation from a 220 year old home and understood what needed to be done in order to ensure a safe work environment and to maintain the structural integrity while making it as expansive as possible. More than his extensive skills and experience Andre is just a standup and honest person. He truly cares about the clients he works with and gives great ideas for what would will look nice and takes them through the process from the very beginning pre construction phases to end with excellent customer service. AHancock Building Associates IncOur experience with Hancock Building Associates was exceptional! We have a split level home and we added on: an additional garage bay, a master suite (bedroom, bathroom, closet) on one side of the home as well as a 20X 20 great room on the other side of the home. In addition, we added a 36' and 22' deck on the back of the home. The entire process was very smooth as the initial meeting with Hancock gave us a great vibe. The quote we got was very detailed and covered all aspects of the project. The detailed quote in conjunction with the very open and candid discussion of the project led us to selecting them. In addition, we had heard great things from others in the town that had used them. The project started AND finished on time and within the budget. The workmanship provided by both the direct Hancock employees and subcontractors was excellent and very focused on the finish details. Their communication at every step was perfect. We were communicated with almost daily to provide updates and next steps of the process. Any communication we sent was responded to very quickly and we were able to meet in person with them anytime that we needed to do so. The end results of the project are breathtaking and we have had multiple people stop at the house commenting on how great it looks. We have recommended Hancock to many others and we would not hesitate to use them again for any upcoming project. Our experience working with the owner (Darrell) and Foreman (Kevin) was outstanding and very professional and I really appreciated their availability and responses. We are completely thrilled with the outcome and will continue to recommend them to anyone in search of contracting projects.- Brian P.

AProBuilt LLC.ProBuilt was the only company we had come out that actually gave us a prompt estimate (within a few days), returned our calls and was easy to reach. We cannot speak enough about how hard and quickly Bill's team worked to tear down our old porch. We were equally impressed with the amazing job Armando and Mark did to build a brand new, larger screen porch. It is absolutely beautiful and we love it. We also had Sam from ProBuilt build a small shed for the pool equipment. He designed the entire shed himself with some very unique features that we did not have with our old shed. It turned out perfect! We highly recommend ProBuilt and will use them again.- Kim C.

ADC Regan General ContractingWe were considering having some carpentry done to our front and back outside stairs and contacted Chris Regan. He responded promptly, came by and assessed the job and gave us a fair estimate for the work. We decided to defer the work until the spring, but had him do a small job for us, which he did very well. AJohn R Elander & Son IncRob did an outstanding job replacing our windows. We didn't give him much to go on. He had a good idea for what would look good and we are glad we took his advice. It wasn't an easy job to do since there was a good deal rot surrounding the windows and nothing was level to being with. ABauman RemodelingGenerally went well but for unexpected delays due to the pandemic. We remodelled our kitchen, new bathroom on the second floor, and updated flooring on first and second floor, among many others. Chris and Juan are excellent, very responsive and professional, they were able to adopt suggestions and make changes to initial plans to suite our preferences. The work came out really gorgeous. The other craftmen were all excellent. The floors, tiles, electricals and plumbing were done very well. I would definitely recommend Mike and his guys.- Collins T.

AMarcellos Design & BuildersI highly recommend Marcellos Builders and Design without reservation. My garage had to be demolished and rebuilt on the same footprint. Marcello’s work was perfect from start to finish. Marcello was meticulous in making sure all the measurements were correct. He oversaw the building of the new foundation consistent with the current building codes for the City of Newton. His carpenters who did the framing are the very best out there...doing such excellent work without taking any breaks, and their pride in their finished work, my new garage, was wonderful to behold. The siding and the painting were also great..careful, meticulous, two coats of paint, all looking just great!! I should also add that Marcellos has a great sense of design. He was helpful in picking out the right size windows. I look forward to having Marcellos Design and Builders do more renovations to this wonderful 1890 Victorian home. He is delightful to work with and follows through on all aspects of the project at hand. I am so glad to have found such a great contractor! ACONSTRUCTION BY SILVAFrank and his crew did a spectacular job at our house in Melrose, a major basement to attic renovation, and we couldn't be happier. He is honest and professional, often giving practical or creative suggestions as the project progressed. You could tell he put a lot of thought into our renovation every step of the way, and his tremendous pride in having an outstanding finished project really showed. AJim, Ryan, John, Jay and team were fantastic. This is the second time we have hired a Britton team. We have always been very pleased with the work from the scoping of the project to the renovation process, completion and even the final punch list. Both projects were on time and on budget. We find because of their experience, their recommendations of subtle design options and suggestions make a big difference in the end product. The project that was just completed involved multiple out-sourcing as well. All was handled smoothly and professionally. We rebuilt a garage, added a beautiful bedroom and bath above the garage, replaced the roof and gutters, remodeled two existing bathrooms, replaced many of the interior doors and replaced shutters and some siding. The only delay in the project was caused by city permitting issues. Communication was good with respect to timeline as well as when decisions were needed. I also work at home and worked through this project with their understanding and planning. They also work well with animals in the home through a project. The team has long relationships with many of the subcontractors and the immediate team are great craftsman and workers. We are very pleased with our new space, grateful to the Britton team, would call them again for a future project and highly recommend their work!

AEric's team rebuilt our entire three season room, which was not functional. It is now, thanks to Mike and Brian. It also looks very good! Mike works hard at getting things done, and teaches the younger crew very well. He is structured and trustworthy. He also was patient answering my questions (I always have too many..!). Brian pays great attention to detail! I was impressed by how good the tile work looks, and also how good the finishing of the decking to the landing looks like, which he did. They also had to partly redo the patio, and it looks better than before.

AAll aspects of their customer service was great from the person coming to take a look, getting a quote and getting the fence installed. Everyone was responsive and showed up when they said they would. Was initially told I would need to wait 6 weeks to get the fence installed, but they had a cancellation and were able to do the install two weeks after deposit was sent. Team that installed the fence was able to install the fence in a couple of hours and came back two days later to install the gate. Just like they said. Would hire again!

AAfter using Jeff and his team on our kitchen remodel we knew he was the only one to do the major remodel of our guest and master bath. His attention to detail is extraordinary. The master was a major "strip to the studs" project. Gone is the seldom used jetted tub and hello to the walk in shower. If you want quick and cheap go somewhere else. If you want excellent quality at a reasonable price look no further.
