AMA Design & Construction CoMA Design & Construction Co has been extremely helpful in my home renovation and insurance-related damage in my condo. Marc and Raquel have both been particularly helpful. Marc came out right away to look at a large job on my downtown condo. He was extremely friendly, professional, and efficient. Together with Raquel they put together very detailed estimates for me very quickly. AD & R ConstructionEric's team rebuilt our entire three season room, which was not functional. It is now, thanks to Mike and Brian. It also looks very good! Mike works hard at getting things done, and teaches the younger crew very well. He is structured and trustworthy. He also was patient answering my questions (I always have too many..!). Brian pays great attention to detail! I was impressed by how good the tile work looks, and also how good the finishing of the decking to the landing looks like, which he did. They also had to partly redo the patio, and it looks better than before.- Natacha N.

ANorman BuildersWe hired Norman builders to convert our basement into an inlaw for my mother - full kitchen, bathroom, etc. Ryan was always very responsive and did a good job scoping the level of effort. His team was great to work with. They were always very respectful, reliable, punctual, and trust worthy. The very few things that didn't go as I thought (minor) - Ryan was quick to fix. AThe Curtice GroupI highly recommend using Scott Curtice for any renovation project no matter how complex it is. We bought a house that was over a hundred years old that had not been renovated for decades. Starting from the planning stage, Scott was wonderful about redesigning the house in order to open up the space and bring it into a more modern look. He spent several sessions reworking his plan always taking into account our needs and desires. Once the actual renovation began, we ran into a number of complex structural issues with the house itself. No matter what obstacle came up, Scott and his team were able to find solutions. His team was efficient in their work and they were all always reliable. In fact, many of our neighbors were astounded that all subcontractors worked on the home daily and that they actually were busy the entire time they were at our house. In addition, the lines of communication between ourselves and Scott, as well as his subcontractors, were always open. They kept us abreast of the project's updates and always made suggestions for ways to improve the work for aesthetics and/or cost savings ideas. Scott’s work was beautiful and he and his crew paid attention to every detail. The majority of the house required a gut renovation and it came out exquisite. Even after the job was complete, he was always available for questions. I would highly recommend using them for any job you have.- Robin G.

ATAOZEN FLOORING - Taozen ServicesTao is unbelievably great! He is professional, efficient, and fastidious, exactly what you want in a project of this scale. His workers were also fantastic. He does everything he says he'll do and more. Tao helped us coordinate movers to move our furniture into another section of our loft prior to the installation, and then back out when our beautiful floor had been completed. We had bought tiles for installation in the area just inside the front door, and his guys did that installation as well, also a fantastic job. They're as fastidious as he. We did not move out during the installation, and because of the pandemic we were inside almost all of the time. The crew did everything possible to make our lives comfortable during the work. I was amazed that it only took them 2.5 days to complete the job. They really have this process down. I would give Tao and his crew six stars if that were possible. I selected Taozen flooring on the basis of its excellent reviews on this site, but I was blown away by their exceeding my expectations. I'm recommending him to everyone!- Susan H.

ATAOZEN FLOORING - Taozen ServicesTao and Taozen flooring exceeded our expectations. Our work was completed on time and on budget. Tao and his entire crew are extremely easy to work with. They are neat, respectful and responsive. Tao and his crew removed over 2000 square feet of carpet in multiple rooms and installed new white oak flooring. Tao also replaced two carpeted staircases with the same oak. Tao and his crew were meticulous on our floors and stairs, even spending an additional day to make sure our stair frame and plywood was level and secure before adding the treads and kick boards. Tao refinished the few rooms of existing hardwood we had at no additional cost and all of our new floors match our existing floors perfectly. Tao and Taozen flooring are the only company I will use on future projects. I cannot recommend them enough.- Adam F.

AOur existing bathroom was a half bathroom with sink vanity, toilet, washer and dryer. We needed to eliminate laundry equipment and add shower and closet in the space that was designated for a washer and dryer, and add outside venting. We also wanted to tile the whole bathroom up to the ceiling. The job was performed excellent and we are very happy with the choices we made. Bill Perry and his crew were working in our house before renovating basement and building rooms there, so we knew that they were the best company for us.
