Sam is a consummate professional and perfectionist that takes great pride in his work. His employees are equally skilled, polite and professional. When Sam commits to doing a new job he schedules the start date upon completion of his existing job. He starts a job and finishes it and does not bounce around from one job to another. The guys started working everyday at 7am/7:30am and worked until 5pm/6pm weather permitting. This work cannot be done in the rain and the temperature must be consistently above 45 degrees to start. We met Sam at the stone place to pick the veneers and bluestone for the steps and pavers for the walkway. Sam started demolition on April 17th and finished on May 3rd, 2018. Sharing a couple photos of the old stairs (Sam is the guy in the lower left of one of the photos) and the new stairs. I have absolutely no hesitation recommending Sam and his guys. They were a pleasure to work with. In case anyone is wondering, a railing is being made and will be installed (not by Sam). :)

The workers showed up early, were friendly and professional. They got the job done quickly and didn't leave a mess. I was waiting until the first big storm before writing my review. It's come and gone and our garage is dry. The water is being pumped out before it reaches the surface. I'm hoping this finally solves the problem. So far so good.

I was pleased with the whole process. Mike Winslow (co-owner of this company) has been one of the best project leader I have ever observed. He had a short meeting with all, at the end of the workday, to review and clarify the tasks for the next day. I observed how effective and informative his directions and assignments avoiding confusion and lost time. I had equally great interactions with Mike's techs and workers. I was worried about my plants in my garden that would have to be all dug up to accommodate the great trench. They were attentive as I requested with my garden. They not only dug and placed safely all my plants in a temporary waiting area, but the were terrific to replant, reseed the yard and help return my decorative fence to my renewed garden.

Great. All is well now thanks to Jason and PumpSpy. I would not have realized that my pumps were not working if I didn't have the PumpSpy monitoring system. Eventually, water in my basement would have alerted me to the problem but the problem was corrected without a drop of water in my basement :) Promp, professional response and problem solved without a fee for the home visit.

From the very beginning Greg was great to deal with. He responded to my initial inquiry quickly. While his quote wasn't the lowest he was the only contractor who did not make me feel like he was doing me a favor. He took the time to talk to me, understand what I wanted and delivered a comprehensive quote.
On the day of installation he contacted me and his crew showed up on time. Despite the heat, they worked hard all day and finished the job as promised. They left my yard in better shape than when they arrived. The crew were courteous and respectful. Did I mention what a great job they did cleaning up afterwards?
At the end of it all, the patio far exceeded my expectations!!! It looks awesome. I'm so excited to the summer ahead. I wish Angie's list would let me give Stefano's an A++.

Jeremy was extremely prompt in replying to my email inquiry.  I sent him a picture of the issue and he gave us estimate.  He then came out, met with my wife since I was away, and he and his team fixed the issue.  It was great coming home and seeing the crack gone.  It looks great!

Fast, efficient, quality work. Always responds to text immediately. Professional staff. Owner on site and working with the crew. When shopping around Drycrete beat the well advertised national chain by all measures.

I had these stairs replaced a few years ago, but the job did not last.  Jeff came by and immediately noticed the cracks in the sides of the foundation steps.  He said the permanent solution was to put sonotubes in the ground and then build a new foundation and steps. All the work was done in a timely and professional manner, and for the quoted price, though permitting fee were extra, as was noted in the contract. Jeff and/or his employees were responsive to my phone calls and questions.

I am not one to write reviews but do feel compelled to do so for the company Prudential Remodeling. I was fortunate enough to be referred by a friend and hope to help others like myself in need of an honest hardworking company that is willing to work with their customers to give them the best home possible. Kevin Sullivan did the most amazing job. He was thorough in his explanation of what he was going to do and was clear and fair with pricing. Easy to talk to, always on time and best of all extremely skilled. I couldn't of asked for better results.. They did an amazing job . From someone who has had horrible experiences in the past, I'm so pleased to find a company I can use again without worry or headaches. And as a bonus he is so friendly with dogs and kids which was a plus to those who have either or both!

My husband and I are not demanding perfectionists, we just expect to get the service we have been promised..

I was thrilled to have hired  Bay State Handyman Plus,  great reviews, ratings and a Service Award. I looked forward to working with such a highly regarded company.  My husband read some of their reviews and focused on one that was particulary harsh.  He was apprehensive to hire them due to it.   Of the five quotes received, Bay State Handyman Plus was the second highest quote.  Despite these two negatives, I convinced my husband they would be fine and we hired them.  My reason?   I had noticed that when Dave came for the estimate he exuded confidence saying that they had a licensed electrician staff and that the work I wanted done was well within their capabilities.

Dave was here on the day and time scheduled.  While he removed wallpaper someone else began wall prep (?).  Many tasks were being done at once and rather erratically. While someone was sanding a wall, someone else would be painting a wall ... in the same room! The mistakes began to show almost as soon as the paint brushes came out. My impression of their priorities was speed was first, material being used sparingly to a fault was second and quality a distant third. Concerns and requests for corrections was expressed on a regular basis.    Dave assured me that they would fix the problems before they left and not to worry.

Some of the problems:  An electrical hazard was created by an outlet being installed wrong, they knew this and thought that we wouldn't find it. One half of the second floor had no power as a result.   My newly installed  hardwood floors were scraped, scratched to bare wood and left with dents and divots,  that now require repair. They continually ignored my requests to protect them.  Drop cloths were used all over one day only.   The kitchen faucet was installed with the spray hose misrouted. The kitchen was only partially painted One section of a wall upstairs was painted the wrong color.  Wall prep was not done correctly and in some cases not at all..  Part of the agreement was to prep, prime and paint walls and trim.  I was told that prepping did not mean thorough wall repair and sanding new window trim. They had painted the window trim without it being sanded.  Ceilings were painted with one coat, not two.. My house supply of paper towels and trash bags were depleted by their use..  One  new upstairs window is no longer working,   I sealed up closets and we moved our own furniture out, though they did offer, for a fee. The carpet was removed by my husband along with the tack strips and staples  in the areas they placed in the estimate, not enough credit was given   The paint in one room had an odd  texture in one small area.  when mentioned, I was told that  it was normal and the paint's characteristic (eggshell). It turned out that it was sanding debris or from a dirty roller being used.   Everyday brought more problems and my attempts to handle them nicely. Paint strokes showing because the paint was either too thick or so thin tat the primer paint showed through. Materials were being wasted and I was paying for it!

I had been told many times that they wanted to do the work right and the way the customer wanted, then why repeatedly make the same mistakes over and over? I had enough, I even raised my voice twice that day, not good. I told Dave to fix what was wrong or leave if they could not do the job right. They chose to leave. They worked  that day and left, leaving many things unfinished and the place a mess.  They even left debris for us to dispose of!   I had paid the final $3000.00 two days early upon request from Dave.  I asked for material receipts and was only given $1400.00 worth, but was told it was over three thousand,  I was assured that I would have the receipts the next day.  I made a mistake and paid them for work never completed.  I even bought lunch for them once!  They are all very nice and personable and I liked these guys.     Via email I was told to expect a response by a specific day  to an email I sent about the problems and a willingness to work out financial options.  That though has now changed because I have yet to receive their response.  I have had to hire painters to correct the shoddy work. One room they had over 20  spots and this was  after BSHP had prepped, primed and painted it!  Much rework is being done including repairs and repainting. Added is the unfinished work BSHP left.  I am paying once again for everything. In addition to a painter, I have had to hire an electrician, plumber and a flooring professional and the window manufacturer to arrange repair ( warranty).  By the time this is all over it is going to cost more than I could afford and I ever imagined.  Very disappointing
