    JLM Gutter Cleaning Service
Quick response from the online contact form. Within a few days, they had me on their schedule to have my gutters cleaned during the busy fall season, but also provided me additional dates in case of weather issues/scheduling conflict. The ease of scheduling, flexibility and prompt service were key for me.

    SSC Window Cleaning and Gutters
They did a great job and even tested them after they completed it. The guy doing it came back the next day on his own (without asking) to double check that he had tested all of the downspouts. It was an amazing experience after having previous gutter cleaning contractors doing the work with leaf blowers (rather than actually getting the stuff out) and another contractor where they just put a bag of someone else's leaves on the driveway, grabbed the check and then left.

    SSC Window Cleaning and Gutters
Setting up the appointment was easy on their calendar site allowing me to pick a time and date. The response to confirm was quick and easy from SSC. The workers were courteous and professional, with the whole job taking about an hour. The one snafu came when I was called to reschedule the appointment after there was an issue the morning of the work, but SSC was able to move it to early afternoon on the same day, which wasn't a problem for me. Happy to work with them again.

Ned Stevens Gutter Cleaning - Massachusetts
They have a special and it was sort of okay for me.  The special includes cleaning the gutters a week ago and then once in the early Fall and then once in the late Fall and one next March.  That was all for the $500 that I paid.  The qulaity of work was very good.

    Br Roofing & Gutter
Excellent Job!    I chose this company due to knowledge that my employer uses him for roof and gutter installation and repairwork and he always does an excellent job.   I like to support Deaf-owned businesses like this one.   I tcorresponded with him by text message (781-733-0095) and I briefly explained the problem.   He arrived with all the right tools for the job, had plenty of ladders, and had flashing in the truck to make repairs.
He solved a problem that 5 other contractors were not able to fix.   He was smart enough to come on a rainy day to troubleshoot more effectively.  I attempted to persuade him to install for me some add-on items (gutter covers) and he declined- stating that those devices do not usually work and would be a waste of money.   That kind of honesty is pretty rare, so I will definitely hire him again in the future!

    Dharma Surface Cleaning -
Our house never looked so good - it practically sparkles.  Dharam is very professional and detail-oriented, just what you want when getting your house washed!  He's also a really nice guy!  The price was fair and I would definitely use his services again.

They did a great job. They were really good. Flushed out the gutters on both sides of the house. Got rid of everything that would or could clog them. Also made sure the down spouts were flushed out and totally clean. They cleaned every inch to make sure there is nothing to clog up the works. Then they flushed everything with water to make sure that they are clean and everything will work fine.. Which is does because it has rained twice since they did the work. Now rain does not spill over the gutters, goes right down as it should.
I thank Hector and his Crew for a job well done and will use them next year. When all the leaves have clogged the place up again.

Phase One: talking with the owner to arrange for the job
I had already researched gutter cleaners, and even some of the A-rated ones had a few unhappy customers. Plus, the pricing sometimes had fine print attached.  I was leery of hiring a company that makes its real money from replacing gutters, and since I wanted the faces of the gutters cleaned so they wouldn't be so ugly (in addition to the internal cleaning necessary for function), I was not eager to finish doing the homework required to hire the right company. Last Sunday, I had to decide whether to buy a ladder and face doing the job myself, or to hire someone, and hope that they did it right.  On Sunday,  I called the Gutter Cleaning Company, with the intention of leaving a voicemail.
Al picked up the phone live on Sunday, and immediately engaged in helping me scope out the job. His manner was that of a neighborly professional. He mentioned that the formula for my house was a base of $125, plus $25 because it had more than two gutters. He did not ask the total length of the gutters (which other companies often do). He also said that there was a 5% coupon through Angie's list, even though I couldn't find it. He explained that he would honor the coupon deal anyway, so that the job would be $142.50. He said he would call Wednesday to refine a two hour window for doing the job on Thursday. He took my name and phone number, and was pleasant to talk with. A few minutes later he called me back to verify the correct spelling of my first name.  A little while later, I realized I had forgotten to ask him about whether his workers would clean the face of the gutters. I left a message, including the actual linear footage, and within short order, he called back. He said that adding this for my linear footage would cost $50, but that I should think twice about it, because gutters don't always clean up that nicely. He envisioned the dirty stain-like drip marks, and said that these can often be resistant. However, if I supplied the cleaning solution and the rags, his men would do whatever they could to help me out. We agreed that I would pretest an area that I could reach on my own, and if I liked the results, I would simply make the check out for $50 more and they would take care of it. His final comment: "We always like to help out when we can."
    Phase 2: the actual job
On Wednesday, Al was good for his word, and called me to refine the time window for Thursday to be between 9 and 11. At 9:50, his two workers showed up, and were already aware that they might be cleaning the faces of the gutters as well as the interiors.  Mark and David were obviously highly experienced and efficient, but they were something more: devoted to doing an A+ job. They were careful about the use of their latter, they spotted each other for safety, they were careful about the house and lawn, and they were careful to hand-remove any of the leaves that could potentially jam the downspouts before finishing off their high-pressure hose work.  Also, they cleaned the faces of the gutters, and when we saw them shining up nicely, they eagerly accommodated my request to clean the surrounding fascia boards while they were up there. They also took pride in this part of their work. You could see whoever was on the ladder enjoying the visible difference that their work made, while whoever was on the ground pointed out any missed spots more easily seen from their vantage point.
Overall: Every professional in every profession should conduct him/herself the way Al and his workers do!  I was blown away by the decency and professionalism of their manner. My agreement with Al was $192.50 (honoring a coupon that I couldn't find for my geographic area), and including cleaning the faces of the gutters.  Because they also did an excellent job of cleaning the fascia boards (which increased the linear footage and I had not discussed with Al), I made a check out to the company for $225.  I also gave each workman a $20 tip -- they were expecting nothing.
    Final tips:
    1) The spray cleaner that I had them use is called Spray Nine, which I had just heard of from a friend in the construction industry. He said he uses it for all of his outside cleaning jobs, and that it is easy to find.I found it at Rocky's Ace hardware.
    2) If you hire this company, I bet you'll be sendin in your own "A-rating" story!

Ken's practiced eye is much more valuable to me than having a seasonal
crew from a big company come in and just hose down the gutters and go
away. Ken has always been responsive and professional, and very
    reasonable in his fees.

We purchased a Groupon thinking that we would be able to schedule service at the end of the leaf dropping season.  We received an email that they would be coming by all of the Groupon locations at a set timeframe which was well before the leaves were off of the trees.  There was no evidence that our house was completed in the timeframe indicated, so we emailed to check.  They did come by to complete the work.
