The dryer stopped working this morning.  I called Poirier to make an appointment but at first I was told that the next available would be in four days.  I made that appointment, but I also explained my difficult situation.  Although I could hang clothes all over the house, my son with Obsessive compulsive disorder and other special needs would not like that.  he would keep repeating, "Dryer, dryer, dryer" many times an hour until the dryer would be fixed.  Just  half an hour later, I received a call, that they had a cancellation and that the repairman could come in the afternoon if that would be fine with me.  And so he did!  He installed the new belt and the dryer has been working ever since.  Moreover, I was told up in front, during the first call, how much the service would cost. And that plus the cost of the new part was what I paid.  Very reasonable.  And such a relief.

Joe gave me a good health report on the piano and tips to keep piano in service for many years to come.  He played a short demo to give me confidence that the piano was in its best working order.

    Bushell Piano Movers
The move went off without a hitch, and without any damage to the piano or the floors.
I really wanted to book this company because of past positive reviews on AngiesList as well as their price -- but it was hard getting in touch with them: calls went unreturned several times, and on the day of the move, they showed up three hours late.

Howard did a wonderful job.  It's just beautiful and we couldn't be happier with the finished product.  He was very responsive and called to follow up with us on progress.  Fair price and excellent craftmanship!

I could not have been happier with Nick and his team.  They are by far the best movers we've ever hired.  They were very punctual, efficient, courteous and careful with our belongings.  While our former movers seem to have nicked several pieces of furniture, we did not have any damage at all with Bell Air.  They worked quickly and were very accommodating to our needs.  At the end of the day, the price was exactly as quoted -- $125/hour (during a busy week in August and last-minute), plus $100 for my piano and about $40 for tape.  They were by far the most inexpensive movers compared to others from whom I received quotes, and they seemed very trustworthy.  I highly recommend them.

I emailed Joe last week (on Friday, I think), and he came out the following Monday to repair/tune it. I had saved the part that needed work from one of our last tune-ups (done by a different provider) and he reinstalled it. In the process, he took my piano apart and cleaned the inside of it thoroughly before tuning it. He also cleaned my keys and replaced a little knob that had fallen out years before (just as a bonus).
My favorite part of the service, however, was how apparent it is that he loves what he does. He played the most marvelous music during his visit, and happily answered every question I could think of about my old piano's history. He even paused in his work at various points so I could take pictures of my piano's internals. Never once did he give the impression that I was in the way or that he minded my rather boundless curiosity about my piano (which we had gotten used a few years ago).
Even better, he's continued to answer my follow-up questions on my piano's history through email, even though the service was completed two days ago.  I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a tuner. He is simply wonderful.

    Needham Woodworking LLC
My whole experience working with Shaun was excellent. After a kitchen remodel, I was looking for a hutch style cabinet with a large enough opening for a flat screen TV. When I finally realized that in order to get what I wanted, I would have to have it custom built, I contacted Needham Woodworking with a rough drawing of what I was looking for.
Shaun responded promptly with his ideas and a preliminary estimate. We then scheduled a time for him to come to the house and take measurements and complete a CAD design. This was all done within a 2 week time frame and when I decided to go ahead with the project, I was told it would take 6 - 8 weeks to be built (in his shop). I was hoping to have it before Thanksgiving and despite the hurricane, Shaun was true to his word. He and his crew delivered it and finished installation November 21st.
I am very pleased with the work. Special details such as the ball feet, the arched panels on doors and the inside lighting really make it stand out. The finish is beautiful and it complements the other woodwork in the room. I highly recommend Shaun and his company.
I specifically wanted a free standing hutch, but would definitely choose him again for built-in cabinets and other furniture pieces.
Pricing was fair for the quality of work and custom design. Total cost: $3,845.00

I could not be happier with the whole experience.
Mr. Joof came to my house withn a few hours of my phone call, looked at my dining room table and gave me an estimate of $800 (which I accepted). He came over with a truck the next day and picked up the table. I told him there was no need to rush the job, and he kept the table for two weeks. He deilvered the table last Thursday, and it looks beautiful! I would not hesitate to call him again.

Joe has been taking care of my piano for many years.  He is professional and friendly, and he always does a great job with my piano.  I'm actually a piano teacher and I run a music school, and he is the one who I recommend to everyone.  I always hear nice things back about him.  His technician skills are very high, as he can really fix any issues I have with the piano, and his tunings always hold for a long time!

For months we looked for a stainless steel finished refrigerator that didn’t have an ice maker. The first one we found was reschedule for delivery 5 times and we finally cancelled that order. Next we tried the big box stores which had no refrigerators without ice makers, we were told we could order a plug kit and remove the ice maker ourselves and one salesman even told us to take it out and use duct tape to cover up the openings. At Poirier’s we got good service, the refrigerator we wanted (one without an icemaker) and at a good price.
