    We had to take part of our fence down last year due to home renovations ... I wanted to put a new fence up but only in that specific place . I wanted vynal and 6 ft with double gates on one side and single gate on the other side . They did an excellent job. They where on time and cleaned up after them selves . Was able to do the job right away.

    The P&C crews were true professionals. They showed up on time and ready to work. Neither project was a piece of cake, but the workers never complained, even when they had to dig up a 300 pound rock that was in the way. P&C's price wasn't the absolute lowest of the bids I sought, but if I had to hire a contractor for a similar project in the future, I would just accept whatever price P&C asked. They were that good.

    I had an existing cedar fence line separating the front and back of the property, but needed the other three sides of the back enclosed for my dog. I got three estimates from A rated companies here on Angie's List. Two estimates were for white vinyl and the third from Canton Fence for cedar. I went with the cedar as it was the lowest bid and I'm very glad I did. The fence looks great! I put down half the cost as a deposit in mid October and they were ready to install it the first week of December. I had to delay as I was away that week. The office was very accommodating. They came the next week and installed it. I am very pleased with the quality of the work and would use them again.

    In planning our fence replacement project, I obtained three price quotes from three well rated fence companies and ultimately decided to utilize Colonial Fence based on product, reputation and price.  The entire process from initial inquiry, to site visits, pricing and installation was handled by the folks at Colonial Fence with tremendous professionalism and courtesy.  During my initial inquiry, I visited the Colonial  showroom in Norfolk and was impressed with the pride they had about their products/services and the way they stood behind them. During the home site visit, the salesman was professional & knowledgeable offering a number of great product suggestions and layout options for the site. After deciding to go with Colonial, our project was scheduled and the work began on time.  The installation crew was also great, on the first day they reviewed the work to be done answered all our questions and told us what to expect and went to work.   All the work was completed in three days as indicated and the fence looks great......could not be happier!

    Reliable Fence Boston
    I had received a quote a couple of months before. I thought the price was reasonable and we even lowered it a bit
    to better another quote I received. All seemed great and we were told
    we'd get on the schedule which would be about 5 weeks out.
    We sent in our deposit (cashed on 9/19) and waited patiently to hear about
    our installation date. 5 weeks passed and I hadn't heard anything so I
    gave reliable a call on 10/10. I was asked if I received my postcard in
    the mail and stated, no I never received anything. I was then put on
    hold and when the gentleman came back, I was told the schedule was being
    worked on as we spoke. I was asked to call back the next week.
    I was busy with work and forgot to call back the next week, but called
    the week after that on 10/20. I was asked if I received my postcard and I
    again said no, never had. I gave my info, was put on hold, and then
    finally I was told that I was scheduled for the coming Friday or
    Saturday (10/24 or 10/25) and I'd hear back before then on specifics.
    Friday and Saturday passed and I hadn't heard anything.
    Finally I called back again. Someone answered, I gave my quick story,
    was asked if I received my postcard again (no), then was put on hold
    while he looked. Someone else picked up the phone, I gave the same
    story, and was put back on hold. A THIRD person picked up the phone and I
    gave the same exact story for the third time. I was put on hold.
    Finally they came back on and I was told that I wasn't even on the schedule and
    they'd  have to follow up with the person responsible for the schedule
    and he was gone for the day. I was then told I'd get a call back in the
    morning. At that time he read off my number and it was wrong. They had a
    5 instead of a 6.
    Finally I received the call the next morning. He stating they were on their way out. At that very
    moment. He also stated they tried to call the day before, but of course they
    probably tried to call the wrong number. But if they called the day before
    about my installation, why was I not on the schedule when I called and
    asked that day before?
    I was not home that day for the installation. As this was extremely late notice, I asked if I could move to the next day since
    I would be home and was told they couldn't as they had already packed up and
    were on the way. Luckily I was able to get someone over there to greet
    them in my absence.
    I found the whole experience extremely frustrating. The communication from Reliable to me had been
    terrible and even worse, the communication within their organization
    seems to be non-existent. At no point did anyone seem to know why or
    even care that I hadn't received my postcard and no one ever seemed to
    know anything about the schedule. Each time I called and gave my story,
    they sounded dumbfounded. I'd assume they'd keep client notes about
    attempts to contact or installation dates assigned or missed, but that
    does not seem to be the case. It was infuriating.

    Our old fence was rotted and falling down in spots, and we knew we wanted to replace it with a vinyl fence.  We had met with three different fence companies over the summer and decided to go with Mr. Fence.  The estimate we received was in the middle of the three quotes.  The salesman, Mauro, was very knowledgeable about the different fence products.  We got a call two nights before the work started to tell us our fence work would start that week.  We got another call the night before letting us know they would start the next day, along with the name of the crew leader and the after hours cell phone number of the scheduler.  We were very excited to see the old fence come down.  The job took a little longer than we expected, but the end results are gorgeous.  Our fence looks fantastic and we have already received many compliments on it.  We're very pleased with Mr. Fence!

    They were very helpful with that. Overall it looks great and we were very pleased with it.  They did a good job but we had some trouble getting  estimates back from them and it took quite a long while for them to give the estimates. We first contacted them in April and it took several weeks to get the estimates and change the specifications of the job. They weren't the cheapest but we liked the way they were going to handle the job and the person who came to do the estimate was very nice and very apologetic for the delay in getting back to us. The jobs go in as they are approved and because of the delay he said he would talk to the scheduler because we’ve waited so long to get our estimate back. He managed to set us up earlier, which was good. They actually came a bit sooner than they had said. We were pleased in the end. They did good work and it was an awkward job. There was that period when it was really difficult to get hold of them. There were companies that were cheaper. They did come when they said they would come.

    I could not be happier with service, quailty and end result of Colonial Fence.  They took time to ask what I wanted, take the appropriate measurements and provide multiple price points and options for the work.  Ultimately they offered what my budget for the project was and it is was a great decision.  The work was done within the time frame they allowed and work was completed within a day or two (even with some poor weather sprinkled in).  We love the look and quality of the product and the company delivered on all it's promises.  I will certainly look to use them again for any fencing needs in the future. 

    As a testament to their customer service, I contacted Colonial Fence about 1 month after installation to tell them a section of my fence had been tagged with spray paint by vandals.  Within an hour they called back asked for the specifics, gave me a rough estimate to the replace the sections but also suggested ways I could clean the vinyl without ruining or replacing the sections.  Most companies would have probably tried to just have me replace, but Colonial's suggestion for paint removal worked and with a little elbow grease the paint was gone later that afternoon.
