    Pete was very through. He stopped by at my convenience, and looked over the project, provided me with a reasonable quote, arrived on time, and worked until the job was done. Pete runs a family business, and are very conscientious and respectful. Since this was the only working bathroom we had in the house, we needed to schedule it when my wife and daughter were going to be away. Pete was able to accommodate the schedule, and actually worked through the weekend, so the project would be complete before my wife and daughter arrived home. When they were done, the bathroom was better than I thought it could be. The bathroom, hallway, and stairs were cleaned to the point where my wife questioned whether the work was down when she first came home. Pete and his team did a very professional job, and went out of their way to make sure it was done right, not just done. I have another bathroom in the basement, which I hope to remodel in the next 6 months. Pete will definitely be my first and last call. It is always nice to know you have a reputable contractor that you trust. PLM Home Improvement is that contractor for me.

    This was just an annual check and tune-up to my central air unit.  Jim really did a detailed inspection and also cleaned the drain line to ensure there would be no back ups when the hot humid weather hits.  I explained to him last year that it had clogged and water ran down the outside of the unit.  He told me he would make sure that didn't happen this year.  He also discovered that the high voltage relay (I think that's what it was) was faulty.  I explained to me what it does and how much it would cost to replace it.  I thought it was a fair price and gave him the go ahead to replace it.  I'm so glad I had this annual check of my system performed, if not, it would have not worked when the hot weather arrives.  
    I was very impressed with Jim.  I felt like he truly cared about the service he was providing and did an outstanding job.  He is a tremendous asset to ARS.  I will try to ask for him by name next  year!

    The technician showed up right at the beginning of the 2 hour window, quickly diagnosed the problem and presented me with the options - replace the faulty part to restore full function or clean and reinstall the old part.  I chose to replace the part and agreed to the additional cost that had already been given to me when I set up the appointment, so it's what I was expecting.  The work was completed very quickly and everything was left tidy.

    He arrived on-time and was very knowledgeable about the heaters and the warranty process.  He quickly de-installed the leaking heaters and swapped them for new ones at Home Depot.  While there he ran into an issue as they didn?t have two 40 gallon heaters in stock, so he convinced them to give us two 50 gallon heaters instead.  He returned to my home and quickly installed the new heaters in a few hours.  We also asked him to take a look at a leaking drain pipe in the wall. He was able to find the leak and repair it in less than
    an hour without destroying my walls and for a reasonable price. It?s a nice surprise to find a contractor that knows his craft, is a pleasure to work with and charges reasonable prices. Thanks Bob!

    Doug Zeolla Jr. arrived within the time frame as I was told the night before. He was extremely pleasant, polite and professional. He explained how to operate and winterize my new spigot. I can now close my interior door where the previous interior shut off valve was. I was told by 2 previous plumbers that this wasn't possible. Thank you Doug! I won't be chilly this winter in my home office. This company was prompt answering my inquiry and they also responded to me with a price, so there were no surprises. Happy to have found them and plan on using them for all future plumbing needs. Highly recommend this business.

    Awful!! - poor communicator, rarely returns messages or phone calls. Took 3 weeks from contacting him to get him to commit to a date  to do the jobs. Finally nail down a date and he leaves after only doing one job, and that one is still incomplete, pending his applying to my town for a gas permit/inspection for the on-demand gas water heater installation. I contacted Eric on Dec 2nd 2015 to install on-demand water heater, install gas piping for fireplace gas log insert that was being delivered 1/6/16 and replace outdoor water spigot/indoor on/off valve. I should have known after chasing this guy for several weeks to nail down a date to do the jobs, that it should have been a Red Flag! He finally came  Mon Dec 28th and after installing the gas on-demand water heater, he told me he forgot his masonry drill to install the gas piping for the fireplace gas insert. HE KNEW this was my PRIORITY, not the on demand water heater. Why would you forgot a drill that you knew you needed?....shouldn't that be in his truck? Onto the outdoor water spigot. It was the original spigot where my hose was stuck on, but it was still operational until he snapped off my spigot and said he would have to come back to replace it. On 12/28 he said he would be back on 12/31/15 to finish the jobs. I waited at home, no calls, messages, a NO SHOW. On Jan 3rd 2016 he said he was sorry and he was sick. He said he should be able to get here by the afternoon on 1/4 - said in an Angies list message that he would either shoot me an e-mail or text to let me know the time. Again NO SHOW. I called at 5:08pm, sent a phone text and Angies list message with no response. Sent another message on Jan 5th, with NO response. Do NOT recommend this provider.

    It was a pleasant surprise to hear Eric's voice answering my call in he morning. I had explained my problem to him. He told me he had an inspection and wouldn't now what time he's be done. Despite being busy , he came out to my house, lit my pilot and explained things to me. He recommended a tankless water heater and advised that there is a rebate as well. I agreed to have the tankless water heater installed. When I asked him how much did I owe him for coming out, he said nothing. He is a really nice guy. Honest and fair. I am so happy to have found a great plumber to help with all my future plumbing projects.
